Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Killington

Wesley and Damon’s home was a very cozy place and in a great location to stay at if you’re looking to ski at Killington. My friends and I were very happy this is where we chose to stay.

Overall we very much enjoyed modern rural space. Kiss the Cow farm about 5min drive was amazing& we got most all main food there w/ additional items from Barnard General Store. Spices/ cookware were very good - we brought nonstick pans& 1 knife to supplement. Plenty bowls, measuring cups/spoons, maybe a set of tom collins glasses would be nice albeit stemless wine and rocks glasses available. Needs garlic/onion powder. Tub was amazing/ upstairs bathroom a true getaway/ relaxing space. It was as pictured albeit note spiral staircase &open grated flooring upstairs. Plenty of windows albeit not much cross breeze so think ahead if bring own fan and/or start A/C before get too warm. I would say you must have an SUV year round for this rental - surrounding roads/ driveway are a good distance on rough dirt/gravel - traversable yet a sportier car with low profile tires/ ground clearance would not work. We enjoyed simply walking driveway& East Barnard Rd. Barnard Inn restaurant worth it.

The Barnbrook House was like something from a fairytale. It was more spacious than we thought looking at the photos. I loved my stay here, Dana was very communicative and timely. The fireplace was a great feature of the accommodation which we made good use of. I liked how there was an off grid vibe without actually being too far away from modern conveniences like Wifi, TV, AC. I would stay here again.

We had a quiet stay at the Farmhouse. Very peaceful and quiet location. Lots of space for our dog to roam. The house is very nice and clean. We enjoyed having coffee and looking out across the fields, reading, and cooking. It’s near the small village of Rochester with a few restaurants and otherwise we explored neighboring towns like Middlebury, Waitsfield, Stowe, and Montpelier.

I can only say wonderful things about this property! Everything was beautiful both inside and out. The house was very clean and organized and was also extremely well stocked. Anything that we needed we found in this house. And everyone in our group said the beds were very comfortable… which is very important to me! Erik was great with communication and very proactive. He sent us a note about a week before we checked in that had everything we needed to know; it was quite helpful. I highly recommend this home….and as an added bonus, the view is spectacular! You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

We had an amazing stay! The place is in a fantastic location—perfect for exploring Woodstock or Killington—and it was super cozy, clean, and well-equipped. Robyn and Trevor were outstanding hosts, always quick to respond and incredibly helpful. The easy communication made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Highly recommended!

This is my second time staying at one of Jess’s properties - and I’m sure it’s not my last. The property is beautiful inside and out and has everything you need. I was in town for a full week and this place was just what I needed to relax after long work days. I can’t recommend staying at one of Jess’s places enough. You won’t regret it!!

The space was fantastic for our two little families with easy access to the local Slate Valley Trails. Lots of wonderful and attentive touches to make our stay homey welcoming. Hope to return again soon!

Lovely home in a peaceful secure neighborhood. Very easy to find and the instructions for entering the space were excellent. The apartment was exactly as pictured - very comfortable and spacious. We were there for 1 night - the beds were very comfortable & the space was spotless. Highly recommended if traveling through the area.

Small but has a fully equipped kitchen, other than the only sink is in the bathroom. The sink is big and it worked fine. The park is 1/2 block away and town is 2 blocks. Comfortable bed and quiet at night. Good restaurants and unique shops in town. Lots of nature trails close by. Be mindful of having the key it could be easy to get locked out. We enjoyed our time in the apartment and definitely would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Bristol. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

We absolutely loved our stay with Bob and Sherry. They were so kind and attentive on the app, providing recommendations and checking in frequently when the weather turned on us. Although we were technically in their home, it still felt very private. The apartment is beautifully done and I’m obsessed with the pine wood everywhere. We would absolutely return and cannot recommend this little place highly enough!

We had an exceptional stay at this Airbnb! It was perfect for two people with plenty of room. It was so cozy. We loved the Vermont specific decor. The ingredients for pancakes and the basic ingredients in the fridge were a thoughtful touch. I could not recommend staying here more!!!

Cindy and Doug were phenomenal hosts and their suite was so lovely to spend the weekend in while skiing at Killington. Their suite was very clean and cozy, and they went above and beyond to make our experience a great one. They provided homemade banana bread, fresh fruit, snacks, coffee, and even left us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. This was one of our favorite airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at, and we hope to stay here again on future trips!

Very nice stay for my family of 5.

Extremely convenient place next to the mountains, nearby restaurants and shops. The bedrooms can get cold, but the blankets are quite warm and comfy.

We keep coming back to this beautiful apartment that is both spacious and elegant while feeling homey and cozy. It’s quiet, immaculately clean with a very comfy bed, nice hot shower, everything you need in the eat-in kitchen.

Great spot right on the mountain. We will be back next season.

Nice cheaper lodging on the access road

This space was perfect for our family. With walking distance to the entrance of the slopes, this location was ideal for our ski getaway. I appreciated the small touches that made this experience feel luxurious, the provided coffee, wine, wood for the usable fire place. The beds were comfortable and the space was spacious. We would definitely visit Jim’s place again!

Wayne is super nice, friendly, and responsive. He gave me heads up note on check-in day when the main road (Killington Access Road) was closed due to downed trees&wires. He also helped me confirm the parking spot in late night when I arrived late. The place is cozy and clean. There’s a number of good restaurants and taverns nearby.

Amazing view and cozy vibes. Hot tub and a pool are fun amenities to have. Building has freshly renovated pool and tubs. If you like it there are also sauna pods. So do not forget your swimsuit. It was clean and if you cook there is a kitchen. On top of that it was great to have a balcony with a view. May is a nice time to come even if you are not skiing because it’s not crowded and nature is stunning. And there are plenty of spots for mountain bike. Scott is a great host and local recommendations are helpful and honest. Visit liquid art, if you want a good cup of coffee that’s the right place. Great place!

The place was great, clean, nice bathrooms. The oven seemed like it wouldn't go up to temperature at one point so I messaged the host and they responded right away to get the maintenance folks over. But it turned out that it was just set to Celsius and I was able to look up how to change it online (Hold down the broil button!). There were PLENTY of towels/linens which was nice.
