OPEN 20 March 2026 This is [B&B Morino Akari], a quiet old kominka-style inn nestled in the mountains of Nara and Yoshino, surrounded by greenery, and limited to one group per day. (The name means "Light of the Forest") ⚫︎ During your stay, breakfast and dinner prepared by the owner are included (please refer to the photos) ⚫︎ We can also provide meals for pescatarians and vegetarians. The kitchen area is shared with Hotos. The rest is all for your exclusive use, and you can spend your time freely as if you were renting the entire building. The spacious area of approximately 230 m² can accommodate up to 8 people. It is ideal for family or group trips. There is also good access to Yoshinoyama, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, and the World Heritage Site, Konpōzanji Temple. We have preserved the historic beams and tiled roofs while preparing the space for you to have a comfortable stay. The tranquillity of the mountains and the soft light that illuminates the night. Here, you can forget about everyday life. Because of the natural surroundings, we recommend that you come by car. Until now, there were no restaurants nearby (convenience stores are within a few minutes' drive), but a Japanese restaurant has opened just around the corner. You can also enjoy ramen at lunch time. Ocean View Retreat in a Quiet Fishing Village

This is a private, whole-house guesthouse located in the quiet fishing village of Nigishima, Kumano City, Mie Prefecture. On the way to Nigishima, you’ll be greeted by the deep blue ocean known as “Kumano Blue,” and the house sits overlooking the calm waters of Nigishima Bay. To reach the house, you will need to climb approximately 50 steps (about a 5-minute walk), but a beautiful view and peaceful atmosphere await you at the top.
