beautiful place, you will have to take a ferry which is like 500 rupees for a car one way. cottages are clean, food is home grown and the cooks are too good. clean kitchen, the whole family works together and I loved the whole atmosphere. there is one uncle who takes care of the place, he is too sweet and helpful. I felt like meeting my Nana ji. location is bang on, it's a river bank and this river is only within maharashtra.

Amazing place with an exceptional host. Wish I could have stayed longer. I would recommend Akshay’s place for a longer stay to just take all the nature in. Need not specify, the food is very tasty.

Reality is definitely better than those pictures. A definite visit and once arrived, one won’t feel like returning, i guarantee! Felt so much like home right from the stay to food and people. They helped us in every possible way and made our stay the perfect! Thanks to entire family, all are so friendly and kind.

This place is for nature lovers and the key highlight of the place is view. Dont expect too much amenities. The room is bit small but is enough for two with clean beds and towels The food served was very homely and tasty. Minor maintenance work can make the place even better.

We had an absolutely enchanting river side stay here. Waking up to the sound of gurgling water and the peaceful ambience was just blissful. For a digital detox this is the place to be. From spotting different birds to dipping feet in a stream of clear mountain water and surrounded by peacefulness this place helped create wonderful memories and is on our re-visit list. The property was serene and absolutely remarkably kept. Rohan was very responsive to any queries we had and further Mr Kale was a fantastic host who took care of all our needs. We had a comfortable stay, wonderful home cooked food and great company. I agree with all the positive reviews mentioned earlier as well. We are yearning to go back.

Its actually an excellent location. Very nearby from the backwaters of the koyna dam. The rooms are clean and specious. Though the network is not there for mobile, they do have wifi which is very helpful as the location is little isolated. The food they serve is also very very good( just small point its chargable) . The uncle there also gives the tour of the Plants and gardans they have. They even give fresh strewberry to eat. Also he provides boat if you want to do boating . There only one point I would like to mention . 1. There are two roads to reach destination one of them have ferryboat ride. And the roads from both sides have like 3-4 km patch which is work in progress. So carefully check the route you go.( please follow google maps ) But the location is so amazing that its worth going there .. Such a wonderful experience Will definately visit again.
