“Klaus' place is exceptional value for the location and would highly recommend it. As a host Klaus also had a very friendly and approachable style about him. When navigating to his place, you will turn off Alpine Way to Spillway Road. Keep driving until the very end (yes over the spillway and beyond), you will eventually come across a fork in the road with signage for lodges on either side of the fork. Klaus is located in "Alpine Hideaway".”
Located across the lake 1.5km from Khancoban hotel
“This one is strictly for family types who prefer having a private life. Located 1.5 hours from Threbo, this places offers you the kind of atmosphere one might look for and won’t disappoint you. You gotta be spot on with the route, especially during winter.”
This cosy cottage is in the small township of Corryong in NE Victoria. The Cottage was built by Ernest Paton in the 1940's. The Paton family is a well known grazing family in this district. The house has obviously undergone many changes. The latest changes have been in the last few months. The house has been in my family for 50+ years. I grew up in this house and still call it home. I hope you love my home as much as I do. I've named the cottage after my parents, Elio & Aida, hence ELIDA.
“Milly's place is well situated right in the heart of beautiful Corryong. The house is immaculate and finished with very thoughtful touches. We loved it! Milly is a fantastic host who went to a lot of trouble to ensure our stay was perfect. Shopping and coffee shops were very handy as well as all of the specialty shops in town. We look forward to returning again someday!”
