Our family cottage is perfectly suited to couples/families looking for a peaceful getaway, surrounded by nature and positioned on a beautiful natural indigenous ravine. The cottage forms apart of The Farm establishment, with another 3 cottages and a small coffee shop open for breakfasts and early lunches, making this too a convenient stop if you're traveling through Knysna.

"Bird Song" is named after the host of bird calls that greet you each morning (and the night jars that you hear after dark). It is the perfect 'private bush camp' for a ‘family-of-4’ vacation or for a secluded ‘get-away-from-it-all retreat’ for couples. The architect designed timber structure is set on a slope with views through and over the fynbos and right at the edge of pristine Indigenous Forest. Although the amenities are basic, the beauty of the surrounds is well worth the visit to this unique cabin. The views are breathtaking.
