We loved our stay at Serena’s house, it had everything we needed and had a great yard for our 4 yr old to explore.

I loved staying here so much. So beautiful, right on the beach, can't ask for better than that. The view from the deck and inside was so nice. You can hear the waves inside the unit. The cable bay store is very close. Such a lovely place in the far north. I would love to stay here again.

Beautiful, peaceful location. House was spotless and had everything you needed. Multiple outside zones to enjoy the nature and water views. Super private and only a 7 min drive to the heart of Russell.

Loved every minute of our stay. The scenery is captivating as the houses are nestled at the base of Orowhana, facing directly towards Te Kohuroa. The hot tub was a hit, we kayaked, made pizza, enjoyed the fruit trees and fire place. Hamish, te kaitiaki, was very accomodating and helpful. The beds are comfy, and the kitchen has everything you need. Also loved that every wharepaku had bidets! I could spend weeks, months or even years here haha. It has all the things you need for an incredibly rejuvenating glamping/retreat. We will definitely be back.

Stunning week away over Easter. We arrived a few hours after a cyclone, which meant no power and water. Anneke was great with all communication about the situation. We chose to stay hoping the power would be back on soon. The next day it was. Meanwhile, Anneke bought us wine and coffee and then arranged a generator so we could shower and charge phones etc. Then we had six glorious days of sunshine with the odd shower. We love walking, so explored all the local walks in the booklets and info guide. Every afternoon we relaxed on the deck just watching the ocean and boats. We ended our days with an outdoor bath, which was Devine. Anneke was a wonderful host. A true legend. The Bach was beautiful, clean, new and private. Highly recommend.

Amazing beachfront view. House was well furnished and clean. Instructions were clear, not a problem checking in. Everything you might need is provided. Awesome stay! Would recommend!

This is our second stay here, and we are drawn to this peaceful area not only for its serenity but also for its stunning views. Additionally, the house is impeccably clean. We also extended our stay by an extra day on short notice, and Debbie was instrumental in accommodating our request. Good location for exploring the north. We enjoyed our stay, the property was very clean inside and had what we needed for our trip. Would book again.

The cottage was packed with character, you could imagine the fun families had there in the past. It was decorated to celebrate the history of the cottage and the area. The beds were comfortable, great laundry and bathroom. A wonderful social area. If you like a typical bach to stay in, this is perfect. Jo-Ann greeted us when we arrived and was very helpful. We will be back.

Very comfortable little place with a ton of nice little touches like artwork, good appliances, comfortable outdoor seating. Very close to the beach and the estuary. Even if you aren't a dog person, the dogs are so well behaved and quiet, they occasionally will visit you and you can give them a pat if you like.

Our stay at Margaret & Lou’s property amazing. As myself and my partner are visiting my parents who live in another part of Northland and we wanted them to see Paihia which they did as we had the most amazing views. Thank you ☺️

Absolutely stunning location, almost able to cast fishing rod from the deck. The cottage is spotlessly clean and tidy with everything we needed for a great stay. Beds are comfy, house is furnished with a beautiful collection on antiques and vintage memorabilia… a real blast from the past. Great washing machine and dryer, good internet for those that need to keep up with work. Can’t say enough… Richard is the absolute perfect host. Met us at the property to welcome us and explain everything, he provided us with info about the history of Mabel’s cottage. About 5-7 minutes walk to Mangonui Village. Awesome place. We had a lovely stay – the house was perfect for our group, with plenty of space and a great layout. It’s well-equipped, beautifully located, and the views are stunning. Despite the wild weather, it was a relaxing place to unwind. We were lucky with sunshine on our last day and made the most of the lawn, trampoline, and pool. The house isn’t a show home and could use a refresh in places, but it’s comfortable, homely, and ideal for groups. Communication was easy and everything was as described. Would absolutely stay again – I bet it's even better in sunny weather!

This home is awesome, so close to everything and has everything you need. Unfortunately, the pool heating wasn't playing ball but we were able to take advantage of the spa.

This was the most lovely accommodation! It was clean, well-appointed, and had the most beautiful view of the Bay. Wendy communicated well, and provided easy instructions for entry into the car park, and from there, into the apartment. Our two night stay was extremely quiet, which we expected, given it's not the high season, yet there was still enough going on about town that we never wanted for something to do! The location was absolutely ideal, as all businesses were within very easy, close-in walking distance. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer, and we'll definitely look to return!

We came up from Auckland for a wedding & the property was local to everything The property was great and both Rob & his wife were lovely. We barely seen them so we decided to go say hello down at their Phat House bar in haruru. We had a couple of nephews come and visit while we were up aswell . Catching up with whanau and coming back to relax there was lovely .

Lani was very friendly and helpful. She made sure we were all informed about the property and amenities. 5 star ⭐ Host !!

I booked this accommodation for my colleagues, and it was perfect for their needs while working away from home. The communication with the hosts was excellent and made the booking process and any adjustments extremely smooth and easy. I would definitely book again in the future.

Beautiful piece of paradise that wolf gang has created, perfect for the kiddies and luxurious for mum & dad 😊 He has done an amazing job with his place. Highly recommend for a holiday or a get away, we will definitely be back.
