This place is definitely worth your time looking at. I thought I’d miss being right at the beach, but honestly, we looked forward to coming ‘home’ to Joseph and David and the calm, quiet, cool of Ruby House. We spent time reading, playing games, reconnecting and resting, as well as swimming and bobbing in the creek - listening and watching birds. It is so peaceful - chatting with fishermen, and just taking in the surroundings. We went for a few day trips- the Gede ruins are well worth an hour of your time, sand dunes north of malindi were great. And we LOVED Garoda Beach - much less seaweed and less busy. I could not speak more highly of the staff - they were present but not, flexible, understanding and really wanted to help make your time enjoyable. The rooms were so comfortable. I think it may be a little hot in the very hot month, but it gets a lovely breeze and there is always the one room to escape into for an afternoon nap if necessary - but we didn’t need to do this. Thanks!

Camilla’s place is absolutely stunning. Tucked away in a sand dune within sight and sound of the ocean. The tide is wide and creates a sandy expanse at low, and a choppy sea at high The open living space is spacious with high cathedral roof and a large sitting area with a kitchen area large enough for all four of us to prepare meals. The dining table is big and sturdy. The bedrooms are also spacious with king beds and full square mosquito nets. The bathrooms are large and open. The house staff, Baraka and Salma welcomed us on the beach as we arrived and to tote our bags to the house. They are discreet and let us be independent with cooking and cleaning. They offered to wash laundry, made beds, and Baraka even helped us find wine at a local shop. Truly one of a kind. Thank you Camilla and team.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Chef Martha did a great job on the agreed menu and the housekeeper Lucy was friendly and quick with information to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable

We’ve just had a great 10 day stay at Nyumba Yulia! The highlight for us and our kids was the amazing pool which was very well kept! We loved that it was a quick stroll to the beach - which is quite busy, but great at low tide for the kids- lots of rock pools to wander around and beautiful shallow water to wallow in. The house is in quite a built up area of Watamu so expect some noise and people as you step outside. The staff were lovely and helpful but not always discrete. Other small things we appreciated- block out curtains, aircons (definitely needed), outdoor shower. Easy enough to Tuk Tuk around, and overall a wonderful restful holiday for us!

Villa Kaya is a stunning place. The house is beautiful and clean and the pool and garden are gorgeous. Florence, the housekeeper was a delight and it was a fantastic getaway for my friends and I. Location is slightly off the main road but once you enter, it’s a paradise that’s not more than 10 minutes from all the fun spots. Serene, clean and with all the needed amenities. There is a guard at night, gardner and housekeeper available. Due to the lush gardens expect one or two tiny harmless guests (moths, centipedes) around the property. Kathryn was super responsive and it was the perfect staycation for my friends and I.

The house is a little paradise overlooking the Creek and mangrove. all rooms are amazing and Chef Henry's food was excellent. I would recommend it without a doubt

We had a fantastic time as a family. Brian's place is a fantastic hidden gem in a beautiful location. We enjoyed every single day. The little hot pool was just a cherry on top of the cake and we spent every evening there relaxing.We will be definitely back.

We had a wonderful stay. A remarkable house, in a wonderful setting, more beautiful than the photographs suggest. This is a great place to 'chill' and to explore the local area. The house is stylish, clean and well equipped and the views from the upper story rooms are stunning. Sharon and the local team were attentive and most helpful, from the initial tour of the farm to the provision of all sorts of wonderful fresh vegetables from the garden. They also arranged a trip and short walk to the Mau Mau caves (do this through them and a local ranger can meet you at the house), and although the track up the mountain, to the cave, proved interesting in the 'wet mud' we were blessed with glorious sunshine on the top, along with pristine forest, wild grassy meadows and Colobus monkeys! Definitely worth the effort. More than anything we loved quiet evenings by the fire, either inside or with the firepit on the patio. This is an extraordinary place and highly recommended!

The villa was beautiful . Amazing staff . Levis went above and beyond . He was always happy to help us . The chef Fondo’s food was a brilliant. we enjoy every meal he produced.

Great place, far exceeded expectations. It is peaceful, private and quiet with all amenities included. I'll absolutely be staying here next time I come to Naivasha.

We had a fantastic stay at Johari Ndogo. It was exactly as described—clean, beautiful pool and very comfortable. Check-in was smooth, and Joe was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The staff were always available to help with what we needed. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area looking to get away from the hustle of the city.

The Hosts and Chef are amazing and the Listing feels very homely. The view of Mt. Kilimanjaro from the deck is very beautiful.

My girlfriend and I stayed for four weeks. We had a fantastic time. The property is beautiful. The swimming pool is a decent size and cleaned daily. The garden is very pretty. It is located in a quiet, serene area which is great for relaxation. The town is only a short ride away (or walk if you’re feeling energetic) The beach and Congo river is a three minute walk away. The best part of this holiday, however, is the staff. Pascal the chef is amazing. He will cook whatever you like. My favourite food were the Swahili dishes. AMAZING!! Timothy the manager arranged a few excursions for us which were all great fun. The price was cheaper than I could find anywhere else. Geoffrey also made us feel welcome and was very friendly Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely return at some point in the future.
