We are a small off the grid & locally run Maasai safari camp with a focus on empowering local Maasai peoples through community development & eco tourism. Besides our spacious safari tents with self-contained private bathrooms we also offer a camping spot and a wide range of self-designed Mara Experiences all having a focus on the Maasai culture & natural surroundings. Our rates include full board: breakfast, lunch, dinner & wifi in the main area + complimentary coffee, tea & water during meals

Maasai Simba Camp

Maasai Simba Camp is ideal for local safaris to Amboseli National Park. The camp features comfortable rooms, a restaurant, a mini bar, and an outdoor swimming pool. Rooms include a private bathroom and free toiletries. WiFi and private parking is available for free. Booking includes full board (3 meals a day), walking safari in a pristine landscape and exclusive cultural experience with the Maasai. This is the place you can walk with giraffes. A perfect place for people who love the outdoors.

Nyika Bird Sanctuary

We believe in sustainability and keeping it simple. Nyika Bird Sanctuary offers a safari on your doorstep in a peaceful, rustic setting. We run on solar power and all the water is transported by hand cart. Bordering Tsavo East National park the wildlife is on our doorstep, the Tsavo West park gate is 10kms away. We boast stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and spectacular starry vistas. Great for couples, solo adventurers and families. Get back to basics and enjoy the Kenyan bush at its best.

Twiga Room

You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind eco-friendly oasis of peace amidst the Northern Frontier's breathtaking landscapes. The Eco-Lodge offers 3 individually-rented guestrooms, plus an independent 2-room cottage featuring a fully equipped kitchen. Tented camp and campsite few steps from Talek gate and Masai Mara national reserve. A true wildlife experience. The camp is at a walking distance to Talek Village Shops, ATM & Markets. Hippo Pool Viewpoint is 5 km from Talek bush camp and it’s only 40 minutes away from Keekorok or Olkiombo Airstrip in Maasai Mara. Guests can enjoy a variety of meals and drinks at our restaurant with a dining and recreation area.
