Miller's Rest

Miller’s Rest is a self-contained one bedroom cottage with private parking and 2miles from Orton, 5 miles from Shap. The cottage is peaceful with plenty of space and all modern amenities. The bespoke kitchen is well equipped, living room has a log burner effect electric fire for those colder nights. The bedroom has an ensuite shower room and large wardrobe. There is a small stream running alongside the garden lovely for sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine, relaxing and watching the birds.

Troutbeck Camping Pods - "No 2"

Our three warm and cosy pods are situated behind the main farm steading in a quiet setting away from the road and next to a small beck. The pods all have underfloor heating so you are guaranteed to be warm no matter the season. With excellent access from junction 36 of the M6, we are situated at the top of the beautiful Troutbeck Valley, with views down towards Windermere Lake. Our village has two pubs, a tearoom, and easy access to Windermere and Ambleside. Unfortunately we cannot accept pets

Unwind in the roll-top copper bathtub, elegantly set upon a mezzanine platform. We are located in a peaceful village, so ask guests to be mindful of noise. We are not suitable for loud parties or celebrations.

Weavers Cottage is a detached 17th century stone built barn at the head of the Ullswater valley in the central Lakes. The views are stunning with panoramic views of lakeland fells and over Brotherswater. The place is pet friendly and perfect for guests who love the outdoors. Classic walks straight from the door and secure storage available for mountain bikes and canoes. After a day in the fells, toast your toes by the wood burning stove or enjoy the sunshine in the private south facing garden.

This is a one off experience of a holiday home in the Lakes. A cosy comfortable house with all your home comforts, lovely sunny garden and only 15 minutes walking distance from both Windermere and Bowness centres with all their shops, bars and restaurants. (A little longer on the way back uphill.) It is the perfect stay for hikers and families alike. You have both towns on your doorstep and numerous walks from the front door.
