Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in Kennebec River

Good location. Walkable to town about 5-10mins. Home was situated at the top of a hill with excellent views. WiFi worked great for remote work. The bed was comfy, and there was lots of cooking material. I can’t wait to visit again!

My family of four and a dog had a great 3-day stay here just before new years, with lots of hiking and relaxing.

Spent a week here, really cute town not 5 minutes away by car, the location is amazing. Would definitely make this a yearly getaway. Thank you!!

We spent four days at this beautiful, personality-full seaside home and loved it. The location is stunning and private - and the vistas from every window are wonderful. You can tell it was built by an architect, and it’s full of flexible spaces and beautiful, international decoration. The kitchen is really well-stocked and easy to cook in. The only thing that should be clear is that there are two bedrooms with doors - the other (king bed and futon) are more open. This was not an issue for us as we were all family, but others may want to be aware. We had a very frustrating situation with an alarm going off constantly - it would be great if Vacasa was more empowered to control the alarm system. Finally, the listing says you have access to the separate “studio bedroom” in the house, but our code did not open this space. Appreciated the cleanliness, comfort, beautiful views - and the fabulous bookshelves! No need to bring your own.

The siting for the house is perfect- private, quiet and absolutely beautiful from every angle. The Dome House is spotless, with a very well appointed kitchen, comfortable furniture/beds, a balance of home-like feeling without clutter, excellent lighting in the rooms -( important in winter months) and super clear instructions on heating and cooling, water use, etc. We were happy to find that the issue of mold that previous reviewers had noted was not present at all. We arrived in the cold and damp, we had a day of rain and still found no evidence of mold! It is a cozy, clean, beautiful place to stay -I hope we can return next year! The Vacasa staff we met were super kind and accommodating also - Thank you so much!

Great house in an amazing location. Beautiful views from the backyard and the hot tub was great. The house was all as described except for an extra room with a pull out couch that was not in the listing.

House was spacious and nice. Floors were kind of dirty, but bathrooms were clean.

We booked a long weekend here for Memorial Day weekend with my elderly mother, my wife, and our two children ages nine and 13. The house is beautiful and such a nice peaceful neighborhood. The bird song in the morning and evenings was great, and the botanical gardens are only a three minute drive away Downtown Boothbay Harbour was only 10 minutes away. My young daughter really appreciated the easel and coloring supplies and my teenage son loved the downstairs game room. Everything was spotless and the kitchen drawers were nicely labeled to make cooking at home easy. We would’ve used the outdoor patio more but the wood table and chairs out there could use a Resurfacing. I also think it would be nice if you upgrade the TV in the upstairs living room to a smart TV. Those are only small comments for improvement on an otherwise perfect location and we are saving this house for a future family vacation. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Super cute place very close to downtown Boothbay. Clean and comfortable with all of the amenities one would need- highly recommend!
