Kaakamo. It's in the village of Torniö and there's this cottage. The location is peaceful, along a small village road about 20m to the yard. In the same yard, there is another house in sight. Plenty of parking space, in the winter an acre less. there are two bedrooms with a total of three beds. In addition, there are two “trips with beds” that can be spread out to the desired location. Great for children. Towels and linen are included in the price.

Stay in the countryside in a cozy cottage with river views. The cottage is small,tidy with everything you need. Electric sauna,shower,toilet,stove,dishes,refrigerator and cooking utensils There's a trail to the beach and a rowing boat in use. The beach is rocky and doesn't have a dock, so you need to be able to swim if you take a dip in the river. An air source heat pump that just came in to keep the apartment nice and warmth in the winter.

Marko is a great host: very nice, friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. With his friends Timo and Jarno, they are always available and helpful, making every moment a memorable experience. The house was warm, located in a very quiet area in the suburbs of Kemi. It is close to a long frozen river in winter, ideal for enjoying the scenery. This is also a great place to spot the Northern Lights. Marko is very familiar with local activities, and there is no better person to discover them. I would recommend this stay without hesitation!

We can only recommend. Beautiful apartment with everything you need. The host provided clear instructions and was reachable by message. Easy to stay with dogs and a big plus for the air heat pump, which cooled the apartment. We will gladly come again when we head north.

It's been fantastic to stay at Jukka 's cottage. This is a traditional Finnish architecture and design or layout differs a bit from usual fornal places that you can find everywhere else. The place is very clean, offers a lot of amenities and possible games. A perfect combo for a relaxing family stay!

Since this trip was in May I had the pleasure of experiencing this beautiful spot in two very different seasons. It is a beautiful magical place and I will be back again! This little apartment is perfectly equipped with everything you need for a really comfortable stay. It's within comfortable walking distance from both the train and bus stations. I couldn't get the internet connection to work but I am not technically minded so that could have been me. Marco tried extremely hard to help but as he wasn't close by couldn't do so in person. I used Kemi as a base for a day trip to Rovenniemi and I would suggest this as a great way to escape the overwhelming Santa Claus tourist hype there.

Big Villa in Sea Lapland

We had a fantastic stay at Kauko's. Perfect for our large family group, loved the Sauna and we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights from the yard both nights of our stay. Kauko was very helpful with an early checkin. Easy walk to the supermarket and to the Icebreaker tour. Highly recommend.
