Such a special place to wake up in - right on the water with snorkelling & a surf break just there. My three kids loved their bunk room and being right on the water. Heidi was amazing and endlessly helpful. If you don't want a resort in this area and appreciate good old school Hawaii - this is the place for you.

Our family ranging from 77 to 7 all agreed that the house exceeded our expectations. We appreciated the quiet setting with lots of places to walk {I think grandpa, walked them all}, the fully equipped kitchen, and the pool (of course). My grand daughter named the resident geckos and gave them all a fond goodbye. We had to drag our 16-year old off Magic Sands beach. We all enjoyed several snorkeling spots and splurged on a Fair Winds "Kona’s Best Morning Snorkel: Captain Cook & Kealakekua Bay." Many thanks.

What a wonderful place to land after being out having adventures! Within walking distance of fabulous beaches, a local shopping center and terrific food. Our hosts were fantastic- quick to respond to questions and full of spot-on recommendations. Their home is a gem. Beautiful on the inside and the outside with a neat layout and a divine screened in lanai. Sijie and Zhe thought of all of the things that people might need/want when Airbnb-ing. I was seriously impressed. All of the beach & snorkel gear, beach towels, water shoes and chairs that they provided were invaluable. Great kitchen for making food at “home” and close to a large grocery store and lots of yummy restaurants nearby. It’s a quiet neighborhood nestled close to the water and surrounded by plumeria, hibiscus and all sorts of greenery. We had a delightful time during our 7 day stay in Kona at Zhe and Sijie’s lovely abode.

First of all, the area was amazing!! Manini beach was literally a 2-3 minute walk down the road for great snorkeling (gear is provided, if you need it) with a path for some amazing sunsets. There are a couple of fruit stands in the neighborhood, which was great for my mother’s daily banana stroll. You can see the bay from the amazing lanai that we spent so much time on to watch the snorkelers, kayakers and dolphins. The house itself was great! Split into half, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on either side, separated by an open concept living room and kitchen. The dining room is outside…where else would you want to sit down and eat? There were A/Cs in the bedrooms if you needed them, but the ocean breeze was usually enough for most of my party. There were lots of spices in the cabinets for cooking and some staples leftover from past renters. The long, winding and narrow roads make some great scenery, but also make your trip to anywhere else a bit long. I would definitely stay again.

Staying here has all the essentials you could need! Host was very friendly and welcoming and communicated well making the stay more wonderful. Definitely will book again!

We throughly enjoyed our stay! Pictures simply do not do justice to the stunning views and gorgeous sunsets!! The home is spacious, extremely comfortable, well stocked, and the big island decor was perfect!! Would recommend without hesitation and hope to return again soon.

Lee’s home is perfect in every way imaginable. Our family of four had a spectacular vacation. We are already planning our next stay.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lennis’s space, along with her thoughtfulness to the space and a being a great host. Her space is very airy, clean, and so many thoughtful details. Such as, beach accessories, many bathroom and kitchen necessities. I stay in a lot of home rentals, and I am really happy when there are items left behind for others to use, like spices, oils, condiments, and there were here. Lennis’s place was our shortest accommodation of our Hawai’i visit(unfortunately), so we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool( which is just a couple of steps away). There are so many flowers and plants on the grounds. We loved that the parking was right in front. It was nice that the condo is a single level apartment. Also, the front porch is lovely, I wouldn’t say it’s very private, but we are city people, so I didn’t mind. And it is not an active road. Stay here!

Awesome stay. This home is generously equipped and made for a perfect home base during our Big Island vacation. Easy to navigate with a cozy, welcoming feel. Enjoyed the pool and lovely gardens. Let’s not forget the ocean view.. perfect for sunsets. Host was helpful, friendly, and responsive.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Jaima's. The house is beautiful - well-cared for and equipped, calm and relaxing, with multiple places to be together and enjoy the trees, birds, and ocean view. Very convenient to the local snorkeling as well as to food, beverage, market, and other amenities and excursions. And don't forget the lovely pool. Have been returning to the house in my mind since we've been home. Enjoy this special place.

Our stay in Kona was absolutely amazing! The Airbnb was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Waking up to ocean views and enjoying coffee on the lanai was unforgettable. The location was perfect—close to beaches, shops, and great restaurants, but still peaceful and private. Our host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making sure we felt right at home. We’d return in a heartbeat. Mahalo for an unforgettable stay!

This was perfect for our family vacation with our adult children! We loved having morning coffee on the lanai overlooking the golf course while watching the sunrise over the mountain. The beautifully landscaped community is pristine and offers well maintained amenities. The pickleball/tennis courts and one of the swimming pools are just steps from the front door, but it was so quiet and peaceful. The townhouse was ideal, VERY comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully outfitted for our family to cook meals together. The lanai was also ideal for hanging out, reading and playing games in the evenings after days of activities. We also appreciated Jeff had nice quality beach chairs and snorkeling equipment available for our days at the beach. Perfect distance from downtown Kona, kayaking & snorkeling excursions and variety of activities. Jeff and Allison were great about providing suggestions. I would absolutely recommend!

This home has the most spectacular views, and is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood! Everything looks as pictured and was the perfect Kona coast stay! This was our first time not staying close to the beach on any island and we loved how quiet and low key it was. Non of the hustle and bustle of a resort or beachfront condo. The pool was amazing to have on site! We loved our stay here! Our host was super quick to respond to any questions we had while staying! Thank you for the fabulous home away from home!

Our group absolutely loved our stay. The host was extremely responsive and the pictures don't even do the place justice. We loved the view and relaxing by the pool until it was time to hit the beach. The location is ideal; it is not too far from Kona (8 minute drive) but you feel like you're in a jungle oasis.

Chelsea was out of town yet was immediately responsive to messages dealing with a couple of minor glitches; it helped that the owner lives nearby. Place overall was great. Lack of air conditioning (it was not hot, but the upstairs did warm up in the April afternoons) was offset by the private pool, a better way to cool off than by refrigerating the house. Nice layout for two couples, one upstairs with the larger bedroom and large en suite bath, the other downstairs with two smaller bedrooms and a bath, so we each had good private space. Only drawback was the downstairs rooms seemed a bit enclosed, although all had windows. Nice large lanai and the landscaping around the pool made it feel especially private. Be sure to investigate the pantry and shelves before shopping...the place was very well supplied when we arrived. We would definitely stay again if we're in Kona!

This was a great home base in Kailua-Kona for a family of 5 active adults in their 20’s and 60’s. The apartment is spacious, modern, comfortable, and clutter-free with modern upscale furnishings and appliances, comfortable beds, large bathrooms and showers. It’s the whole upstairs of a two-story building at the back of a lot on a major road with plenty of private off-street parking in the courtyard in front. It’s uphill from several nice beaches, and the bedrooms have an ocean view. There’s a bar-height table on the front porch that’s great for drinking AM coffee with a view of the sea. The adjustable-height desk worked well. You definitely need a car here, but we were easily able to reach everywhere we wanted to go with a short drive: several beaches for swimming and snorkeling, a Kona coffee farm, restaurants, grocery stores, and airport. When we had difficulty on arrival, we had helpful responses from both Chrissy and another host within minutes! Checkout was simple.

We loved our stay here! And the convenience of having a washer and dryer and a kitchen is amazing the pool and hot tub are pretty nice amenities too!

The house fit our family of six with plenty of room. The kitchen was nice and big for cooking. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was nice for sleeping. We didn’t use the air conditioning in the main space as we preferred to have the patio doors open and the ceiling fans going.

This was our 1st time in Hawaii and i can say our expectations were blown! the location of this home is perfect! This house felt like a home. The kitchen had every appliance, the living room was stocked with dvds, and the bedrooms were a good size.This home was filled with Hawaiian spirit + we had access to lots of snorkeling gear which was lovely. Deanna responded quickly to any questions we had before and during our stay. We all felt well taken care of and very welcomed. We couldn’t have stayed in a better location. Kealakekua Bay is breathtaking! We watched the sunsets every night from the beach or lanai and every morning we could walk just less than a minute to the bay and see dolphins! The neighborhood was friendly and filled with wildlife! We had the opportunity of getting to know the Local Artist, Rainbow, She was lovely and filled with knowledge of the Island! We are all happy to call her our new friend and sad to have to say goodbye to her! We cannot wait to come back!

The house has beautiful ocean views, our favorite part of the stay was falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves. The kids loved having the pool right outside the house. We only wish there had been more umbrellas for shade. The kitchen was well stocked (yes, ocean views from the sink, we didn’t mind doing dishes at all!). The house was spacious, comfortable, private, and had everything we needed. As clearly stated in the listing, there is no central AC. If you’re sensitive to heat, keep that in mind. The portable units in the bedrooms weren’t very powerful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was well-equipped, there was great snorkeling right outside the property, and was conveniently located near coffee shops, restaurants, and beaches. Thank you so much for hosting our family!

Our favorite place we’ve ever stayed on the Big Island. Super convenient, yet quiet and secluded. Beautiful home, with everything you could need. Definitely hope to be a return guest!
