Traditional Japanese house! Transportation service

LiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful, traditional Japanese home. The host lives upstairs, and guests stay on the ground floor. When hosting, he graciously vacates the space so we can have it all to ourselves. The house is very clean and well maintained. What touched us most was the host’s lifestyle — deeply connected to nature, with a clear commitment to organic, chemical-free living. The toiletries he provided were all natural and of high quality, even safe for our baby. His values made such an impression on me that after returning home, I started researching how to buy pesticide-free food and natural products in Singapore. The house is close to a shopping mall near the airport, and a beautiful temple is nearby, next to an old Japanese street full of local snacks. Outside the home are peaceful rice fields, where our baby loved watching frogs and walking freely. The host was warm and welcoming — he greeted us on arrival and sent us off at departure.

The design was very stylish and we had a pleasant time in a calm atmosphere. The bed was also comfortable and I slept well. The service was very polite, and I had a peaceful stay. The bus stop is close and convenient for getting to the University of Tsukuba. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance! Thank you!

More&MORE201, Western-style room, Samurai-machi Sakura and Higashikoku visit, JR Sakura Station, 4 free parking

I had a wonderful stay at Ueda-san’s place!
He was incredibly kind and even offered pickup and drop-off at JR Sakura Station, which made everything so much easier. The room was spacious, and both the toilet and shower room were very clean and well-maintained. The house is located in a quiet residential area, so it's peaceful and a great spot if you want to experience what it's like to actually live in Japan, away from the usual tourist spots. Sakura is known as the “home” of samurai, so there are many local spots that are really interesting and definitely worth visiting—especially if you want to explore beyond the major tourist cities in Japan. The place is close to JR Station, and you can use the bus to get around (though buses stop running late at night), or simply walk about 15 minutes. I really appreciated the hospitality and would definitely love to stay here again if I return to Japan. Highly recommended!

"WabiSabi" house Room3/1 bed/Skytree/Asakusa/

I would definitely recommend this place if you want to sleep in a traditional Japanese room with tatami etc. The host is super kind, favorite, he is open to discussion and ready for any questions. Regarding the accommodation, there is everything you need even a washing machine. In terms of accessibility, you have to walk a little to get around. Thanks!
