Beachfront holiday rental in Kathisma Beach

We had a fantastic week at Nema Villas 2. Efi was lovely and super responsive to our messages and her Mother Maria greeted us and was really helpful. The villa for 2 is well thought out, very new, sparkling clean and had everything we needed. Lovely pool with an amazing view of the sea. Walkable distance to a couple of tavernas and a short (5) minute drive to the town of Vathy. Also a snack bar/cocktail bar a minute away and great to have drinks as the sun was going down, we also had some food on our first night which was good too. Really quiet and peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. There was also a housekeeper on site, she was lovely and did a couple of washes for us when we there. Thanks to you all, it was a wonderful holiday!

I booked this for my parents and they had a fantastic time. They said the location was perfect, the apartment was spotless and Gavriella was really helpful!

wij hebben twaalf dagen verbleven in het heerlijke huis van Antonella. De woning voelt ruimer dan de fotos van Airbnb. Het huis heeft een fijne voortuin waar je heerlijk kunt zitten, de keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien. Antonella is een fantastische host, we hebben regelmatig wat gevraagd over de omgeving of praktische tips, ze reageert ontzettend snel en is zo vriendelijk. In de omgeving is genoeg te doen waardoor deze locatie een fijne uitvalsbasis is. Door het warme welkom en de gastvrijheid voel je je gelijk thuis. Als we weer in de buurt zijn komen we zeker terug.

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij Gialos villas 2. We hopen nog een keer terug te komen. De tuin en privacy is fantastisch en op loopafstand van een mooi strandje. In mei is het in Makris Gialos nog erg rustig en niet alles is open, wij vonden dat erg prettig. Ismini is heel flexibel en denkt mee, ook lief dat ze aan ons kindje van 2 jaar heeft gedacht; babybed, kinderstoel, slabbetje, plastic servies, zelfs peppa big limonade! Fijn dat schoonmaak in overleg kon. Het enige dat voor ons wat lastiger was, is dat 1 slaapkamer boven is (met een tweepersoonsbed) en de andere beneden (met 2 enkele bedden). We wilden ons zoontje niet alleen beneden laten slapen, dus hebben wij in 2 aparte bedden beneden geslapen die helaas vrij hard waren. Het tweepersoonsbed boven was een stuk beter. Het huis is verder van alles voorzien en het was een erg prettig verblijf. Hopelijk tot een volgende keer, dank je wel Ismini!

We love Lefkada and we loved our stay at the villa! George was super helpful and quick to respond. The private water access and the lawn/beautiful garden were the main highlights. The view is lovely all hours of the day. The villa is conveniently located. Highly recommended!

Το σπίτι ήταν πολύ όμορφο, όπως ακριβώς στις φωτογραφίες. Πεντακάθαρο, άνετο και τακτοποιημένο, με όλα τα απαραίτητα. Βρίσκεται δίπλα στην θάλασσα, σε ήσυχο σημείο. Οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν πάρα πολύ ευγενικοί και εξυπηρετικοί, και συνολικά είχαμε μια πολύ ευχάριστη διαμονή.

What a great location. Beautiful sunrise looking out over the water with breakfast on the balcony was a highlight. Apartment located on the edge of Nidri within walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants, cafes whatever you need. Ideal location for hiring a car, parking off street right in front of apartment and a great base for getting around the island. Flexible check-in was another bonus for this beautiful spot. Highly recommend. Only downside, for me, was that we didn't meet host. But loved the place.

La nostra vacanza è stata davvero meravigliosa, il mulino è sul mare, abbiamo fatto bagni al risveglio, con la luna piena, in ogni momento. Il paese è a 15 minuti di passeggiata a piedi, che si fa senza fatica. Il mulino è tutto in pietra, ha una cucina con tutto il necessario e anche di più, non manca niente. Bagno con doccia comoda. Unico neo possono forse essere i letti tondi, soprattutto quello all'ultimo piano è un po' piccolo per dormirci in due, potrebbe andare bene per due bambini o per due persone di bassa statura. Ma è davvero l'unica cosa, il mulino è incantevole, l'unico rumore che si sente è quello del mare, si entra in un'altra dimensione. Niko poi è un host speciale, ci ha coccolati, aiutati, ci ha portato a vedere le spiagge con la sua barca, insomma la vacanza è stata per noi davvero indimenticabile. Consigliatissimo!!

We loved staying at Martini Suite 1 & would definitely come again! The place was as described in listing & the photos were up to date. It was a walkable distance to the town & restaurants, yet peaceful & secluded. Cleaning was provided every other day & the host was responsive to our questions. Thank you!

Absolutely flawless! Great communication and so generous and kind to us. Easy to find Kavos House is stunning - views that are hard to drag yourself away from and a beautiful pool. Everything is spotless and comfortable from the beds to the pool loungers. Very well thought out and lots of nice touches - like a cold box to borrow and Nespresso machine and milk frother for your cappuccinos. They very kindly provided some necessities for arrival which made a huge difference on a Sunday. Short walk to Spilia Bay and then up to Spatachori for even more beautiful views from the Sunset Bar! We will be back!

Had a great week @ the Ionian Nest, the accommodation was as per the listing, very clean with good linens & furnishing, well stocked kitchen, plenty of crockery pans etc. Quiet setting, 14 units & only a handful occupied so was quiet, pool area was quiet. Lovely balcony area. Really good well stocked supermarket 5 minute walk away. There are 2 restaurants locally, one by supermarket at the top of the road & Koutavos Taverna down the hill 5/10 minute walk. Both very good value with reasonable choice menu. Beach is just a couple of minutes walk, pebble beach with lovely clear water (no one else there when we went 😊) I would personally say a car is a must unless you just want a chill out holiday on the complex. Palairos has a lovely sea front area with lots of restaurants < 10 mins in the car. Susannah kindly arranged a taxi for us one evening. Worth a drive to Lefkada good place to visit with plenty of coffee bars & restaurants. Would recommended a stay & would book again.

Unser Aufenthalt in der wunderschönen Villa war einfach perfekt!!! Wir haben jede einzelne Minute genossen. Das Haus und die gesamte Anlage sind sehr gepflegt und die Pools blitzsauber. Wir wurden von Chrysovolantis' Mama sehr herzlich empfangen und während unseres Aufenthaltes sehr umsorgt. Vielen Dank dafür!!! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen ;O)

Great villa, very beautiful view and pool and lots of living area space for spending time with friends and family. Situated in a very quiet zone. Highly recommend it as a pure accommodation spot. However Pogonia and Paleros are still developing, there's not much to see around for more than 2 days so the best alternative is Lefkada which is pretty far away and can be pretty tiring (driving 2-3h/day). If you do plan on spending more time in Paleros/Pogonia this villa is your best bet tho.

We had such a fabulous time in Villa Senecio! The house and pool are a fantastic retreat, with the most amazing panoramic view. The outside space is really stunning- lots of places to sit and eat and enjoy the view. The bedrooms are comfortable, each with its own en-suite bathroom and air-con. We found everything very clean and well equipped - plenty of towels, including pool towels, and a well-stocked kitchen with basics like washing up liquid and vinegar and oil etc provided. We were welcomed by a lovely basket full of local produce - all of which we enjoyed - thank you so much! The pool is big and a good depth to properly swim. Our teenage kids had a brilliant time. Dimitris, who looks after the house, was a gem - very responsive and helpful. At Dimitris’ suggestion we hired a boat in Afteli beach in the south - Akis Rental Boat - were really great. Overall we really loved our holiday. Everything felt very generous and aimed to make us feel comfortable and at home! Thank you!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa - it was very comfortable for our family of 5 with two children sharing the twin room. The pool area was lovely, safe and plenty of room around the pool to laze around. Loved the secret pathway down to the water allowing us to jump safety into the cool refreshing water. The town itself is lovely with plenty of restaurants and places to buy food. Is slightly too far to walk with young children but is doable in about 20 minutes if not too hot. Vasilliki was our other favourite town (the old port side) and a 15 min drive. Nicole looked after us and communication was very easy and responsive through WhatsAp. All in all it was a lovely, relaxing and easy week - thoroughly recommend. Thanks Penelopy.

**Review:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming little cottage, and it was an absolute dream. The location is simply unbeatable, with a breathtaking view right above the sea shore. The semi-private beach was perfect for a peaceful retreat, and we didn't even feel the need to visit the public beach. The private terrace was our favorite spot to unwind and soak in the stunning scenery. The tranquility of the place made it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights was the proximity to some fantastic restaurants, particularly Molos, which was out of this world. Being able to walk to such great dining options was a huge plus. Overall, this cottage comfort was a a little basic, but we spent most our day outdoors, so ot didnt matter. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a serene and picturesque escape!

Had the most amazing holiday here. Very restful with beautiful views from the balcony. Peace and quiet with just a couple of local bar/cafes and a well stocked supermarket. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Effie was almost instant with her responding usually within ten minutes when we contacted her. Absolut unbeschreiblich schöne Unterkunft. Die Lage ist der Wahnsinn - Hier brauch man wohl nicht mehr zu schreiben, wenn man die Fotos sieht. Und das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet mit einer wunderschönen Terrasse und einem tollem Garten. Die Ausstattung ist sensationell. Alles was man braucht und noch viel mehr war in der Küche vorhanden. Auch habe ich mich sehr über die vielen Extras gefreut, wie z.Bsp. Getränke im Kühlschrank, Marmelade und Honig, Kaffee und vieles mehr. Wirklich bezaubernde Gastgeber. Bestes AirBnB Erlebnis (Dank Ausstattung und Gastfreundschaft) das ich hatte. Herzlichen Dank!!!!!

A piece of paradise on earth. Truly sublime. The house is located on the Ionian coast. The views offer serene beauty, with mountains and islands painting a breathtaking backdrop across the bay. The garden is well-maintained and has many terraces and places to repose or enjoy. The private beach offers a secluded space to swim. The house is tastefully decorated, and well well-equiped. Kitchen and living room offer all modern comfort and appliances. The design is equilibrious, adding to the peacefull radiance of the house. The bedrooms are spacious and have comfortable beds. The bathroom is fully functional. The house has AC. The owner is friendly, flexible and helpfull, providing tailored recommendations . The region is beautiful, offering a broad combination of history, nature, culinary treats, sports,... Palairos is close (2 kms by car), and has a variety of shops/bars/restaurants/... . We hope to find ourselves back here, creating wonderful memories, in not too distant a future.

From booking to check out it was ideal. This apartment is well appointed and well finished the bed is comfortable and the balconies allow breakfast in early sun and dinner with sundown But the real bonus of this place is the fantastic host Kiki She has advice and practical help available, unobtrusive and yet immediate. A real gem

Die Unterkunft am Kathisma Beach ist fantastisch. Der Vermieter ist jederzeit erreichbar und gibt gute Tipps. Das Studio ist eingerichtet wie auf den Fotos. Es ist alles da, was man benötigt und sehr sauber. Der Ausblick und besonders die Sonnenuntergänge sind beeindruckend. Ich kann die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen und komme ganz sicher wieder!

Thoughtful welcome basket with wine, jam and sweet rolls. Wonderfully warm atmosphere. Very comfortable. Great location, incredible view. Stunning garden. Close to a rocky beach with pristine water for morning and evening swim. Easy walking into town but very peaceful.

A great location if you want to be near the sea, it's just over the road! We have 3 children, 6yo and under and the little beaches there with a gentle slope in the water was perfect for them to feel comfortable getting in and out, swimming at their own depth. The proximity to a great little beach Café & restaurant, Breath of Zorbas and a short 5min walk to bakeries, shops, and even more restaurants, made it a great location! The apartment had everything we needed, very neat and tidy. Ellie and her mum were great whenever we had a question, with very quick responses and helpful with their local recommendations. We loved our stay.

Could not fault Ionian Reserve, from the accuracy of the accommodation through to the ease of booking and handling of my queries before and during the holiday. Super helpful, efficient and made my holiday stressfree right from the moment I found the perfect villa on their website.
