If you're looking for a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is just for you. Rent an inexpensive, modest, electrified, basic summer cottage (approx. 65 square meters) from Kangaslampi, Varkaus (the cottage is located on the south shore). Everything in the cottage is not exactly on top and in the best condition, but a basic clean cottage with everything you need. The cottage has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, stove, gas grill. Basic tableware, TV, radio, smoke detectors.

Next to Kys and the University, nestled in the lush landscapes of Puijonlaakso, a new rugged studio with a French balcony. Dedicated parking spot in the yard. Step-free access to the apartment. 2.5 km to the center of Kuopio. There is a bus stop right in front of the apartment, where there are two lines in 10minutes to the center of Kuopio. From the apartment, you can easily access the Puijonlaakso hiking trails, which continue to Puijo. Also next to the beautiful Frog pond and cozy park area with beaches.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

This flat is located only 10 min walk from the Kuopio city center next to the park Valkeinen. The flat is new and provides you porridge bar for breakfast. You can reach Kuopio University Hospital and Savilahti area easily by bus or walk (20 min). Kuopio City Theather, ice hockey arena and swimming hall is next to the apartment. Parking is easy near by. There are 2 beds available for adults and a travel cot with beddings for small child. A highchair and pot is also available when needed.

Ground couch bed 80cm or 160cm spread out. Air source heat pump for cooling/heating. Please bring your own bedding and towels. There are blankets and pillows. If you don't have sheets, you can get it by asking for a loan. 5€/person. Parking space is in our yard, local buses about every 30 minutes.

Summergottage at Suvasvesi lake in Vehmersalmi

Gottage is situated by Suvasvesi lake nearby Vehmersalmi village, built -83 and totally renovated -18 when a totally new sauna was built. Surrounded by pineforest for hiking, picking berries and mushrooms. Only 0,5km to the village with different services. There is electicity, washing water coming from lake and fireplace heating. There is a rowbout for fishing, terrace and dock for swimming and spending time by beautiful lake scenery. There are some neighbours nearby.

In the Archipelago City of Kuopio, a small end two-room apartment on the upper floor of the Luhtitalo, 49 square meters. The apartment has its own entrance via covered stairs. Underfloor heating, mechanical ventilation and a separate apartment cooler for summer use. Private covered parking space with the possibility of charging a Plug-In Hybrid electric car. The apartment has a large, furnished and glazed balcony.

Grandma's cottage with sauna

A 100-year-old log cabin with amenities in the yard of the main house. For multi-night guests during the heating season, in addition to electricity, furnace heating. Trees ready, guidance or heating if needed. Good road connections. About 10 minutes to Outokumpu and 30 minutes to Joensuu. Koli about an hour and Valamo Monastery about 30 minutes by car. There's also a dog cage outside with a small coop.

The house is part of an old farmyard. The finnish-german couple welcomes its guests the year round, for only one night or for longer stays. The farm and its surroundings offer plenty of activities. The farm hosts a model railway, a farm museum and an organic beekeeping with honey sale. You may book the farm sauna for your own use. Swimming at the lake on demand.
