Monthly Rentals in Karbers Ridge

Our stay at Stacey's place was an awesome experience. This little slice of paradise was exactly what we were looking for to disconnect from reality for a few days. Everything we needed for our stay was there when we arrived. Bella and Andy (horses), Oreo(pony), Hiney(donkey), and Oscar the cat greeted us every morning. They come right up to the fence and are super friendly. Our kids had a blast playing football and going to the creek with Codi and Graham(Stacey's kids). If you're looking for a great get away for the weekend in Shawnee National Forest, this is your place. It's super close to all the best hiking sites like Rim Rock, Garden of the Gods and many others. I would give it 10 stars if I could, and we will stay here again.

This location is absolutely perfect! Our bachelorette trip enjoyed every minute of our stay. It is close to some great hikes and beautiful spaces. We also were located close enough to do some other hikes on the other side of the national forest. We loved all of the recommendations given and all of the amenities provided. The scenery around the property was incredible and the hosts were super friendly. Beds were comfortable. All of the furnishings were comfortable. Everything was clean. There were 5 adults and everything felt very spacious. The master bathroom was amazing!

Beautiful area! We had an amazing stay we did choose a weekend that was all rain so we did not get the chance to utilize all the amenities but we would definitely come back on a weekend with no rain because this place is truly amazing with very beautiful scenery. Only thing is the bathroom is a small easy walk from the cabin but that wasn’t an issue for us. There are fun farm animals around and it makes for a very nice relaxing weekend. Great communication from owners and we felt very safe the entire time. I would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Alice's airbnb was very private and peaceful. I enjoyed seeing her animals, especially our sweet visit at the door by one of the roosters. The space was just big enough for my husband and I with our dog Toby. The place was very clean and the bed so comfortable. She's in a great location for you to see what all the Shawnee National Forest has to offer and so much more homey than a cabin. Some of my favorite areas to visit were the Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock, Burden Falls, Iron Furnace, Dixon Springs, Chocolate Factory, and Garden of the Gods Outpost store had anything you could want. These are just a fraction of what there is to see in the area. We were able to see a lot. Brochures available were helpful. Favorite restaurant there is Shotgun Eddys. Great tasting food and big portions. The breakfast is the best as well as the fried fish. They have a bloody mary that's a meal in itself. I had the pleasure of meeting Alice and hope I get the chance to stay at her place again.
