It was a clean and quiet stay for the most part the horse was a little noise at times but what do you expect with a living animal lol but other than that it was an enjoyable stay and the chocolate pumpkin bread is so good definitely give it a try

Stephen is very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and delightful. We enjoyed waking up with a nice view of the water. We would highly recommend staying here.

The cottage was very cute, and the location was peaceful and beautiful. Our hosts were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They provided several recommendations for local businesses, and also left freshly baked muffins and farm fresh eggs for us. My family appreciated the kindness and attention to detail.

Modern appliances in the kitchen and new walk-in bathroom showers was a nice feature. I know that the house was designed for hunters visiting the area, but it fit my family perfect for the reason we were in town. Just 15 minutes from almost anywhere in Emporia. The sunrise and sunsets were beautiful with the windmill farm in the background. We only saw two vehicles on our road the three days we were there, so very peaceful.

My 3rd stay here. Marcus and Amy are great. I had a change of my schedule at the last minute and I appreciated their flexibility!

This place had it all!! Ron and Steven were so accommodating and made themselves available for anything I needed. Hot tub was private, hot and clean. Carriage house is secluded and a 12/10. They even left delicious Blueberry muffins in the kitchen area for our enjoyment. Super super clean, that was nice! They also had invited us to write postcards, with the Carriage House letterhead, so we could send to our loved ones.... they put postage on the envelope and mailed them as well. Just the best of three best at The Carriage House! I cannot wait to come back in the Spring/Summer to hit Kansas Crossing Casino (4 mi away) and enjoy their beautiful patio when all plants are outside and thriving weather is warm. You would be missing out to not book this place, for real. Just a wonderful getaway, thanks guys ❤️❤️😎

Was as described! Nice place, nothing fancy but very comfortable! Had nice kitchen with everything needed to cook! Jake was very responsive! Enjoyed our time here.

Everything was perfect! It was so peaceful, and the neighborhood was beautiful! Everything looked just like the pictures and they had plenty of extra blankets and pillows for the pullout bed. The kitchen was a dream and had everything you could ever need! 10/10 would definitely stay again.

Our accommodations were great!!! It was clean, modern and we loved the 85” TV. The beds were very comfortable and furniture was well placed and we appreciated the throws to use while watching TV. We highly recommend this property!!

I really appreciated Glenn and Jill’s home — they were kind and accommodating, and even had thoughtful solutions ready in case any issues came up. If you love walking like I do, you’ll enjoy exploring the area — there are plenty of restaurants just a 5-minute walk away, and downtown is only about 15 minutes on foot. I’d recommend their place.

We loved our stay! It was a beautiful home in a peaceful neighborhood. Perfect for one or two people staying a long weekend. The home was clean and more spacious than I thought it would be. The home was easy to find with clear instructions given by the host. I would definitely stay here again! Also, added bonus for anyone who cares…the water pressure in the shower was fantastic!!

Great place to stay quiet and clean

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House! The grounds are beautiful and well-kept! I enjoyed a quiet cup of coffee and a book in the outdoor seating area while listening to the morning birds. Although we ate dinner out with our K-State junior, I prepared eggs, bacon, and toast in the Carriage House kitchen and I had plenty of utensils and counter space. It’s very clear that this historic property is meticulously loved and cared for!

Great place great views nice and clean easy access in and out. And a highlight for me was the parking…..just a few feet from the door. Has me spoiled if i ever stay at a hotel the walk to your room can be long and I travel with lots of tools for work. parking is safe here and no worries like a hotel would be. All around peaceful and great place
