I had a wonderful stay at this villa! The views were absolutely stunning—waking up to that scenery every day was a real treat. The overall ambiance was calm, cozy, and inviting, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Both the indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and beautifully maintained, offering plenty of room to unwind, dine, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The staff was amazing—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. A special shoutout to the chef Ranga who was fantastic and prepared delicious hotel-style meals that made the experience feel even more luxurious. it was a truly memorable stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape with great service and stunning views.

Fantastic home and some great help from Danuo and Praba who cooked some fantastic food and were always there to help and offer services and information . Praba was a great Caddy ! Overall a fantastic host, house helps and definitely recommend for families and friends coming to Victoria

Wir haben uns von der ersten Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem komfortablen, großen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus. Es liegt am Ende einer ruhigen Seitenstraße mit einem tollen Blick über das Tal und den Fluss bis zu den Bergen. Sakunthala hat uns supernett begrüßt und alles getan dafür, dass wir uns gut aufgenommen fühlten. Sie ist darüber hinaus auch eine gute Köchin die uns bestes Essen serviert hat. Auch die Hausbesitzer Aude und Ariyam, die wir später kennenlernen durften, sind sehr nett und waren immer bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so bequem wie möglich zu gestalten. Das einzige, was wir bereuen, ist, dass wir nur drei Tage gebucht hatten und dann weiterreisen mussten. Sehr gerne würden wir nochmal kommen. Vielen Dank für alles! Katharina

Ein toller Gastgeber und eine tolle Unterkunft, hoch in den Bergen. Ajith ist sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, er hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt und sehr unterstützt bei der Organisation unserer Weiterfahrt. Auch sein Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir durften sogar unsere Wäsche in der Waschmaschine waschen und der gegrillte Fisch war ausgesprochen lecker. Vielen Dank Ajith für die tolle Zeit hoch in den Bergen 🙏

We had a great stay at Makahouse. The photos don’t do it justice- the place is huge with breathtaking views and lush greenery around. The caretaker looked after us very well and the food was superb! The pool was very refreshing after a day of exploration in Kandy. The communication with the host was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place and stay myself with pleasure!

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans la globalité , le logement est spacieux et propre, un barbecue à disposition pour faire des grillades. Les avantages: belle vue des hauteurs, grande maison, spacieuse, propre, concierge adorable et disponible, barbecue, lits confortable. Les moins: il manque une salle de bain en plus pour que ça soit parfait, attention à la propreté de la piscine qui n’était pas traité ( donc pas pu se baigner), manque d’équipement général pour la cuisine, le bruit général extérieur ( chien qui aboie toute la nuit).

Wow! This place is incredible, if you love golf you’ll be in heaven. I’ve never played at a more friendly club ever! The members are so welcoming and we made some awesome friends here that we will keep in touch with. Alan is a great host and did even more than required we feel really privileged to have met such wonderful people. His property is amazing, you won’t be disappointed, along with his care taker and house keeper we felt relaxed, safe and well looked after. Our 10 day stay here will be hard to beat, we can’t wait to come back!

I had a very positive stay at this property! The house was exceptionally clean, tidy, and beautifully modern equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The host was fantastic very responsive, respectful, and clearly committed to providing a great experience. The location was also convenient, with Uber and restaurants nearby. Overall, a well-maintained and welcoming place. I would definitely recommend it to others and would be happy to stay again!

We had an amazing Airbnb experience at this gorgeous villa in the suburbs of Kandy. Manju and his wife were excellent hosts who made us feel incredibly welcome from the start. Upon arrival, we were greeted with freshly harvested king coconut drinks straight from the garden—a wonderful touch. After a brief tour of the property and a helpful demonstration, we had full privacy to enjoy the villa to ourselves. Manju kindly collected us from the airport, which was much appreciated after an exhausting 8-hour journey. The following morning, he even dropped us into Kandy city to meet our tour guide, going above and beyond to make our stay convenient and enjoyable. Manju’s local knowledge and personable nature added so much value to our trip. As a bonus, we got a free tour of his workplace at a gem and jewellery museum, which was both fascinating and informative. I highly recommend staying at this Airbnb—it’s a truly memorable experience with exceptional hosts!

Clarence's place is just wonderful! It is very spacious, airy, light, comfy and beautiful. All our family enjoyed staying at Clarence. He is a great host, always responding quick and making the best to please his guests. The other members of Clarence's family must be mentioned too. They all are very polite, friendly and hospitable. The balcony, which better be called a terrace, is huge and the view is stunning. Everything is great, highly recommended for families and people who prefer tranquility over a busy city. To call a taxi we used "pick me" app. It is very cheap and useful.

Hashitha was a perfect host. Check in was quick and professional, but also personable. My host was in easy reach, if needed, but I was allowed my privacy. The whole experience was brilliantly enhanced, by being able to sit on the veranda and take in the fabulous gardens. All in all an experience to hold fond memories of.

The place is good. The rooms are clean. It has only one toilet though. Otherwise it's a good place to stay. I completely recommend it if you're okay with the single toilet.

We had a wonderful stay at Kandy Hill Residence. Getting there was easy thanks to Google Maps, and Ashoka was incredibly responsive and helpful right from the beginning. He welcomed us personally at the property, which was a nice touch. The place itself was clean, calm, and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious and tidy, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the large rooftop terrace offering beautiful views - a perfect spot to relax. We were initially a bit concerned about the heat since the rooms are non-AC, but the fans kept things comfortable enough, even during the warmer season.

The hosts were very polite and helpful…However, it is a shared space with the family and shared kitchen which may be an issue for few…. Overall a good place to stay …..

We had a truly remarkable experience staying at the Captain’s Lodge. It was like going back in time and we really appreciated the family photographs and stories about the house’s history. Our host, Petra, was an excellent communicator and Rani and Raj looked after us very kindly, with home cooked food and introducing our children to their animals. The views were amazing! While the house was extremely clean, there were a lot of ants in the property - this is hardly surprising given the lodge is out in the countryside but just mentioning it in case future guests are bothered by such things. We felt that we had had a very special holiday and have many treasured memories from our stay.

It’s an excellent choice for families, groups, or friends. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The overall vibe of the house was warm and inviting, and we felt right at home. The location is serene and safe, providing a great balance of nature and proximity to the conveniences of downtown. We truly loved our time here and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kandy. If we return, this will definitely be our go-to place to stay.
