It has been gradually renovated and revitalised (currently in the process of revitalisation), with whitewashed clay walls, natural Kenji-ji bamboo fences, and more.Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are three moss gardens: the front garden, the middle garden, and the back garden. Well water flows everywhere, including through a fountain, a basin, a stone basin, a stream between stepping stones, and a pond. There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. If you're lucky, you'll see artificial satellites and meteors. The water heated by firewood never gets cold. It warms you from the core of your body. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well. During the day, you might want to spend some time in the lounge filled with houseplants. Enjoy the sunlight shining through the trees from the skylight. Here, the right answer is to do nothing and just be. How about emptying your mind? If you request at least a week before your stay, we can prepare local food from Oshima Island and seasonal food that we can get through a special route.
