It has been gradually renovated and revitalised (currently in the process of revitalisation), with whitewashed clay walls, natural Kenji-ji bamboo fences, and more.Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are three moss gardens: the front garden, the middle garden, and the back garden. Well water flows everywhere, including through a fountain, a basin, a stone basin, a stream between stepping stones, and a pond. The pond is home to koi, goldfish, medaka, tanago, and river prawns, and is a biotope space visited by wild birds. ■ Chick-in lounge (cafe/bar space), souvenir corner ■ You can drink authentic cocktails on the first floor of the main building.There is a souvenir corner with imported interior goods/accessories/natural stone, etc. from Japan, Bali, and other places.

This accommodation is limited to one group per day and allows you to enjoy the beauty of the many islands in the Seto Inland Sea and the sunset. Designed by the host, an architect who has won numerous awards overseas. Not extraordinary, but a "delicate life" with the theme of enriching everyday life. You can experience that kind of life here. There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. If you're lucky, you'll see artificial satellites and meteors. The water heated by firewood never gets cold. It warms you from the core of your body. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well. During the day, you might want to spend some time in the lounge filled with houseplants. Enjoy the sunlight shining through the trees from the skylight. Here, the right answer is to do nothing and just be. How about emptying your mind? If you request at least a week before your stay, we can prepare local food from Oshima Island and seasonal food that we can get through a special route. If you wish, you can also dine at a counter made of pure cedar, similar to a traditional Japanese restaurant.

You can leisurely watch the sunset over the calm sea. Dinner at the popular restaurant "Umimachi Bar Ameri", where you can enjoy the local cuisine and music, is one of the highlights of the trip. Located to the west of Oshima, Omi is a tranquil place surrounded by mountains and the sea. It is also ideal as a base for cycling and island tours. In the early morning, a walk along the calm sea, surrounded by tranquillity and the song of birds, is a truly soothing experience. Right next to the inn is the entrance to the approach to Himezaka Shrine, and the narrow slope lined with old houses from the early Showa period is also recommended for a walk.From the path through the mandarin orchard that leads up to the shrine, you can enjoy stunning views of the sea and the islands. At night, the sky is filled with stars, and in summer, the Milky Way shimmers. Enjoy a relaxing time surrounded by the sounds of records, accompanied by coffee, local orange juice or wine. It is the only property around Shin Onomichi Station. The house is a traditional Japanese house and you will be staying in the main house. Limited to one group per day, can accommodate up to 4 guests. Only one dog can stay with you (but it must be kept in a cage in the tatami room). It is close to the Shinkansen, so there is noise and vibration every time you pass.It may not be suitable for those who are sensitive to sound. (It's quiet because it doesn't run from 11:40 PM to 6:20 AM) If you are staying with 2 people, you can have separate bedrooms.Or you can combine two single beds to make a double bed. Please let us know your requirements. Free parking is available below the guest house, but please be aware that it is difficult to access from the public road. Also, please park your car inside the white lines. Please be careful not to smoke.
