Double Room East - Kamakura International House

Located in Kamakura, west of Tokyo (1h by train) . Visiting Mt. Fuji/Izu/Haknoe will be much easier than from Tokyo. We will provide free pick-up at Kamakura Station upon check-in/out. We provide free breakfast as well. We are Thai/Japanese couple, who speak Japanese, English, Thai, French, Bahasa. We have 5 rooms in total, and this listing is for a Double Room. If you need another room(s), please book separately.　Please be reminded that your group needs to have at least 1 adult woman.

The house is 2 floors with a loft. 1st floor: 2 rooms with 7tatami mats size. 2nd floor: living/dining room with a retro atmosphere. You can see the mountains, sea, and Mt. Fuji from the loft when the weather is nice. We provide a car park(vehicle type/size limit), and rental cycle (extra charge). ※The parking lot is located outside the premises and is about 3mins walk down the hill from the property.

築94年の古民家の2階、「文」（ふみ、Fumi、Room B）のお部屋です。 ８畳間になっております。 古民家の2階の階段を上がって左にあります。 室内には、文机（ふづくえ）という、鎌倉の文士や書生が使っているような古い机があります。 建物がクラシックでレトロなので撮影に使われ、 アイドルの写真集やアイドルグループの ミュージックビデオに使われたりもしています。 お部屋は畳敷になっていてクラシックな照明があり、 桐箪笥（きりだんす） があり、鎌倉文士の大佛次郎や室生犀星などの古書があります。 和の畳敷きの窓際にソファがありますのでくつろいでいただけます。格子の磨りガラス、当時の面影が昭和初期の雰囲気をだしています。 ご家族で、また友達と一緒に、女子旅、またワンちゃんと一緒にも書生が活躍した 鎌倉の時代のようにゆっくりと過ごしていただける、お部屋です。

Parents traditional Japanese house incl breakfast

Do you like to have a break from the touristy spots, where nature is central in our daily lives? A real Japanese homestay experience at my parents house. Close to beaches and forest. Breakfast is included: typical Japanese breakfast will be served at the house. Dinner can be served at the house, my parents cook Udon, Okonomiyaki etc,, 10 min walk from blossom trees in season!
