Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Kalutara

It was a beautiful stay, we could feel very home and without reservation although living in the same house with the host family (in separate Appartement of course). The Family is very very friendly and the dogs lovely and quite. We got delicious breakfast and dinner delivered to our balcony. The garden at the lake is beautiful and we felt peace to wake up with this view. We slept with open doors and fresh air and it was very quite. Everything is possible to get (dinner, scooter rental, massage, beer, airport shuttle, excursions) so it is a great service. We also especially liked that we don‘t have the feeling to have to pay for every small thing like at other places, here the kayaks, bikes and Breakfast are included in the price/for free. The neighbourhood is nice and safe. Thanks for the great stay and hospitality- we are so happyto have found this places for last enjoyable days of our vacation!

Traum villa was a perfect start to my trip in Sri Lanka. It has everything you could need and the team there are very kind, attentive and give great advice and tips on what to do on your stay. Romesh and Saman were such lovely hosts, easy communication and go the extra mile to help you out. The room was great, clean and spacious with fan and AC and hot water in the bathroom. The pool was clean and quiet. The grounds of Traum villa are very well kept, it is clear they have a passion for their surroundings. All in all I would recommend Traum villa to anyone and everyone who wants to stay or pass through Bentota. I hope to return to see the friends I made there!

The accommodation was as described and shown in the pictures, which we appreaciated. The staff was the sweetest, always happy to help! We liked the breakfasts and our room with a nice view. The place is not located directly by any beach but there was a possibility to take a boat to a pool and a beach (free of charge). We got help with airport transfer as well. The only thing was that the WiFi worked exclusively in lobby and restaurant area, no chance for connection in the room. Otherwise highly recommended, thank you!

Lucky's place is unique. Nowhere did we feel as at home as with him. His wife cooks incredibly delicious food, his kids are really sweet and help where they can. The dad, too, always had a smile on his face. The beach is 100m away and Lucky always has a tip ready. He explains a lot about his country & is also very interested in yours. We would return to this place any time. 100% recommended.

Tushar's resort is an oasis away from the boisterous places that dot the shoreline at Bentota. Near the river, with a deck, it is almost perfect for those travellers who seek to stay away from the madness of the touristy overhang while still being close to all the important places. His dad is a raconteur, and our breakfast and dinner became more lively with his anecdotes. They are highly recommended, and they are superb hosts who go way beyond to accommodate you.

I was in Bentota for a wedding and stayed with Lex two nights. Lex's place is well worth the price. I felt Lex and his wife really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable: they offered me tea when I arrived, they provided breakfast both mornings, and they even loaned me an adapter when I discovered I didn't have the right one (Sri Lanka has Type D and Type G plugs). My request was last minute and they were so responsive and eager to help. The AC worked perfectly and the room was exactly as described and as shown in the photos. It was very quiet at night with truly beautiful vistas during the day. You can walk to the beach and train station and post office easily from here; plus, there's an Ayurvedic massage center just around the corner. If you're looking to stay a while in Bentota, I highly recommend Lex's place.
