Wild Coastline Near a Bali Style Beach House

Gaze through wraparound picture windows overlooking black lava fields and a peaceful ocean horizon. Select an art book from a shelf, then open sliding doors and read in a cooling breeze. Return from a sunset hike and refresh under a rain shower. Bali Temple is a beautiful custom home located on the 1990 lava flow, right on the ocean. Luxurious appointments, including the Eastern King Tempur-Pedic bed, the fully equipped gourmet kitchen, a 6' bathtub, and incredible expansive ocean views, make Bali Temple a one-of-a-kind destination. Bali Temple is its own self contained home. The shared laundry room is located next to the main entry door. As little or as much as my guests wish. Please see my (EMAIL HIDDEN) The house is in the quaint village of Kaimu, in the Lower Puna District. A convenience store is nearby and Uncle Robert's Kava Bar is less than a mile away. Right out the back door is 500 acres of state land for hiking over lava fields by the ocean. You will need a rental car during your stay. Before I created Bali Temple, this property was a part of a Buddhist's Meditation Retreat. It still carries this peaceful and tranquil ambiance to this day! By the time my guests leave Bali Temple, they feel refreshed and renewed. This is a deeply relaxing setting.

This special vacation home is nestled into a quiet, safe and rural neighborhood adjacent to the magical Red Road, 3 blocks from Kehena Black Sand Beach. Inside, this immaculate home has open vaulted ceilings, modern amenities, tile flooring, wrap-around deck and much more. We are close to Uncle Robert's Farmers Market, and Historic Pahoa Town. Please note that Kehena Beach is clothing optional. There are other small tide pools and hot ponds close by. More beaches are 40 minutes away in Hilo.

This all-concrete house is ocean front and perched on a lava cliff at Kehena Point. The Point sticks out into the ocean further than the surrounding lava cliffs and offers unparalleled views of the coast in both directions. Watch whales in season (November-April), and walk to a black sand beach.
