This fully renovated traditional house is located in Minamiozen, Kagoshima Prefecture, the southernmost town on the mainland. When you enter the room, you will see the view of the Kinkouwan Bay spreading out across the window and Mt. Satsuma, also known as Kaihodo, on the opposite shore, and you will exclaim, "Wow!" and you'll be captivated by the blue sea. The view can be seen not only from the living room, but also from the open bathroom. You can move directly from the room to the spacious wooden deck with a BBQ stove and sink, via the deck terrace that extends from the living room. You can enjoy a relaxing private time while listening to the sound of the waves without worrying about people watching. Nearby, you can drive to Ohama Gold Beach, Sata Cape and Yukawa Falls, and Nishiharadai Panorama Park. The abundant nature along the way is also comforting. In the evening, the sunset from the living room, bathroom, and wooden deck is truly spectacular. And the starry sky after the sun sets is breathtaking. The room also has free WiFi and a projector that displays on the white wall. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, and seasonings, so you can bring your own ingredients and cook. Yoka Yado Kagoshima Chuo A clean, retro-modern, fully private house that was fully renovated in 2024 and newly opened in 2025! We created this inn with the concept of "a space where you can relax with your family and friends while enjoying sightseeing in Kagoshima to the fullest and experiencing the nostalgia of a good old Japanese house". The location is a 4-minute walk from the west exit of Kagoshima Chuo Station, the transportation center of Kagoshima City. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, there are many restaurants, convenience stores, drug stores, supermarkets, and car rental stores within walking distance. The airport is about 40 minutes by shuttle bus from the Kagoshima Chuo Station bus terminal. From Kagoshima Chuo Station, it is about 10 minutes by tram to the Planetarium, about 20 minutes by bus to the Sakurajima Ferry Terminal, and about 50 minutes by JR Express to Ibusuki Station and Kirishima Shrine Station, making it a very convenient location. The inn has a dining room, living room, bathroom, and 3 Japanese-style bedrooms (2 single, 1 semi-double, 2 double). You can enjoy your morning coffee and meals while feeling the south wind of Kagoshima on the roof balcony, which is over 20㎡. Please relax as if you were at home.
