We had a great weekend at this house, the views were incredible and we loved sitting out on the deck. Lots of gorgeous spots nearby to visit. The house was reasonably well stocked and Alan was responsive to messages and sorting out any problems. Thanks for a great stay.

If you want to relax in a warm home with amazing views, quiet and peaceful, this is the place. Literally a 2minute drive to Russell waterfront with the Duke of Marlborough and other restaurants to choose from. We loved it.

Incredible spot overlooking the ocean and Cavalli Islands. House is really well laid out for a mixed age group with one bedroom and lounge area seperate from main living. Plenty of parking and room for the boat, fishing was excellent! Great stay for a week.

we had an amazing stay! the photos do not do this place justice! we stayed 2 nights and it wasnt enough! we cant wait to bring our little family back here. we celebrated our 8th year wedding anniversary with our 2 sons with a staycation. we live only 2hours away and loved everything about this place! clean, tidy, spacious, warm. homely, great location, close to beach access, beaches, parks, shops, local activities and views everywhere. you will not be dissappointed, we will be back!

Lovely spot with the river right there. Spa pool nice to look at stars at night. Lots of bedrooms for family groups. Enjoyed the table tennis. Good location handy to everything.

Enjoyed our stay at the location. Sadly, the fireplace was not working. (It had been one of the "selling points" for selecting this venue.) There was a heat pump though which kept us warm. Lovely location/views. Great facilities - including a great coffee machine and a special 'red light' torch to allow us to go kiwi-hunting. Andrea was very helpful and kept in touch. All in all, a lovely vacation.

We felt very privileged to have had the opportunity to experience such beauty the peacefulness of the greenery the mountains, and the view from the outside deck ,beautifully set up so well thought out , from the furniture to the spa, that we had the opportunity to see the sunset from,so super special , the photos wow! exceptional, memories for a lifetime. We loved the accomodation it was very welcoming, a well equipped kitchen that we used every night, as it inspired me to cook recipes I had not for years. Wendy thank you for being the perfect host, responsive at all times and very helpful, we really did appreciate your hospitality. This apartment was absolutely brilliant! We only meant to stay a few night but ended up staying more! Kelly was very helpful, and the apartment was perfectly placed in Russell. It had all of the amenities that we needed. We loved it! Thanks Kelly.

Shelley & Graham were amazing hosts, incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable of the local area. They made our stay in Paihia feel like home away from home, and the guest suite was more than we could have expected ! We will definitely be staying there next time we are in town !

We hit the jackpot with Michaela and Dans place, a great place to stay for a bit while visiting bay of islands. We loved our stay here. Good location. Amazing appartement and views and great communication all around. Would recommend!

Lovely property with everything you could need! Deborah was a fantastic host - incredibly friendly and kind! 5 mins walk to Hihi beach and town only a short 10-15min drive away this is a perfect spot to explore the area. Beautiful and cozy space with the most stunning view. Great location being walking distance to restaurants and the pier. Helen was lovely and greeted us when we arrived. Wished we could’ve enjoyed the space longer!

We truly loved this place. The ocean and hills under the overcast sky held a quiet, misty beauty, as if we had stepped into a serene ink painting. The room was warm and cozy, and from the bed, we could gaze out at the distant shoreline and listen to the whispers of the wind. There are many great restaurants nearby, just a short drive away. Time here seemed to drift by slowly and gently.

We stayed at Roy’s Bayview Apartment for two nights during our Bay of Islands trip, and honestly - it was perfect. The property is beautifully kept, spacious and has the kind of views you just can’t stop staring at. Waking up to those views was such a treat. It felt private, quiet, luxurious and incredibly cosy. Roy was a thoughtful and communicative host, providing all the details we needed and going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making the apartment feel welcoming. It was the perfect base for exploring Paihia, Russell and Waitangi, but also ideal for just slowing down and soaking up the calm. A lovely home with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Come for the home stay for the view! A spectacular vista, from the Whiria Pa, across the harbour to the golden sand dunes. Also, a great selection of books to while away the hours 🙂 We had the generous bonus of using the down stairs spa as there were no guests. perfect!

The most serene beautiful location. Felt like a million miles from anywhere but best brekkie and coffee just steps from the door and a general store a couple of minutes away with everything you could need. Bed to die for, luxury linens and towels. Possibly the cleanest place EVER. thank you gavin, a perfect stay in a beautiful location.

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

We had a very pleasant stay here in Paihia with stunning water views. It was peaceful to come home to after touring all day. Easy check-in and good communication from the host. Would stay again!
