If you're looking for a hike, there are beautiful places nearby: – Tiilikkajärvi National Park (approx. 30 min): trails of different lengths by the forest and water. – Älänne: A peaceful area with marshes, ridges and lake stretches. – Kipari's tour: A ridge trail that ends at a lookout point with lake views. – Pisavuori: A short but steep climb to the observation tower. This oasis of relaxation is a magnificent, unique architectural ensemble at the tip of the peninsula, with room to breathe and relax. The cottage is located by the clean Suvasvesi. Next to the main cottage, there is a summer sleeping cabin with stunning panoramic lake views. Large windows bring nature indoors everywhere! A huge terrace area connects the main cottage, the sleeping quarters and the pier complex with the jacuzzis on the beach and the lake surrounds everywhere. It's good to be here :).

Log cabin by a clear water lake

Small log cabin with spectacular lake views. There is an extendable bed (2x80cm) in the cabin, as well as a kitchenette (running cold water). Sheets and towels provided. Electricity. Rent includes private use of a spacious wood burning sauna by the lake, about 2h per day (sauna also used by the owners). You can book your slot at arrival. Access to hot water in sauna (heated by wood). Dry toilet next to the sauna. Use of a rowing boat. Cabin is located 50 meters from the house of the owners.

A 100-year-old log cabin with amenities in the courtyard of the main house for year-round living. For guests staying several nights during the heating season, in addition to electricity, there is oven heating. Wood is ready, guidance or heating if needed. Good road connections. Outokumpu is about 10 minutes away and Joensuu is about 30 minutes away. Koli is about an hour away and Valamo Monastery is about 30 minutes away by car. In addition, there is a dog cage outside with a small hut.
