We had a great stay at Marlieke's place and fellt right at home after arival. The cottage is very clean, spacious and has everything you need. Marlieke has really thought of whatever her guests might need, from a well stocked fridge and welcoming snacks, high quality kitchen material, to even a sewing kit in case your button falls off and toys to make our daughter feel energised after a long flight. The beds are high quality, the bath luxurious, and the view amazing. With a car you can reach all interesting places (Amsterdam, Utrecht, castle, woods etc) within half an hour. Marlieke has prepared several information maps for day trips and IJsselstein itself is also a lovely little town where we went often for coffee etc. Marlieke responded quickly to all my questions and gave very useful practical suggestions. The family is lovely and our daughter enjoyed playing with the youngest girls and Soof the dog. She was also very happy to be allowed to help take care of all the animals!

The accommodation is very good, the neighborhood is nice. The owner is attentive and immediately responds to requests. I would particularly recommend this place.

We went on vacation with the family for a week and we were very comfortable with Huibert. A very nice, large house, tastefully furnished and with a cozy garden and enough space for 7 people. It is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. All shops for everyday needs are quickly and easily accessible. A large supermarket and bakery are only 5 minutes away by car. The communication with Huibert was very pleasant. All important information about the house and area was well described on an information sheet. We were very happy about the welcome gifts! We highly recommend Huibert's place!

A great and clean house in a quiet neighborhood. With 8 people, we got along with the rooms and bathroom spaces. Pool was in our satisfaction!

We had a fantastic time at this lovely apartment. The sea view balcony is fantastic. The apartment is spacious and equipped with every comfort. 2 beautiful spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a nice loft. Beach right in front of the door and several restaurants and beach bars nearby. We also found surprisingly nice. Cruise through the sea lock is recommended.

Nico was incredibly friendly and the house was exactly how it looked in the photos. Very easy access to the sprinter train to get to downtown Amsterdam. Highly recommend!

Our host was incredibly nice and reactive. We definitely recommend her and her amazing house on the lac. The views and nature are stunning. We had so many beautiful activities (boat with a licence, free kayac, Gouda visits and museum, walks and bykes, restaurants). Clearly I have fallen in love with the region

The house is idyllically located on an island strip and can be reached by boat. Bas introduced us to everything uncomplicated and relaxed and we had a very nice holiday in the house

A very comfortable and well-organized apartment in a lovely, family-friendly area. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and the host was very responsive. We had a wonderful stay there, enjoyed our time, and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful chalet, very new and attractively decorated and great for the two of us. It was a pity that there was no possibility to charge our car at the park. The contact with host Young was very friendly and he responded quickly.

Beautiful places, as we arrive ready it's already beautiful all the rivers that overlook the lake with all the small boats and their beautiful harbor. The place is brand new and really with all the comforts possible and tastefully decorated. We had a lovely time . The only small downside is the lack of restaurant or bakery in the area but other than that I highly recommend this accommodation and the host is very responsive and will answer all your questions very quickly. Thanks again .

We enjoyed our stay! The bathroom was nicely renovated since we were there last time. Great improvement! As was the option to use a lockbox for the key.

We had 4 wonderful days at Jakoliens Lodge. A fantastic location directly on the lake. If you are interested in water sports activities, Jakolien is very helpful. The contact with her was super nice and straightforward. I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you for the great time.

All in all a great accommodation, modern, beautiful ambience, quiet, the garden with the furniture, the size, the jetty and the canal simply great. In addition, the accommodation is very centrally located to take beautiful bike tours, the small town for the small shopping right at the door, what more do you need for an extended weekend. . .

The apartment is great, but the absolute highlight is the terrace on 3 sides of the house, right on the water. The large glass fronts in the living room provide a view of the water, which makes the apartment special even in cool temperatures. The only downside is that you'd rather not go on an excursion, but just stay in the apartment.

We had a really enjoyable time staying in Annemarie and Dirk’s cottage. It was well positioned for our day excursions and having bikes available to use was a highlight. On Annemarie’s advice we caught the ferry to dinner and biked home along canals - magic! Great hosts who helped us wirh our questions. Highly recommend staying here.

We loved our stay here and if we returned to the Netherlands we would stay here again. A very comfortable house, wonderful big soft bed, clean kitchen and lovely shower. A beautiful outside space too- we loved it. Excellent stay

We had a lovely stay at Nanette's! The accommodation was clean, lovingly furnished and exactly as described. The kitchen was very well equipped. The mattresses (we slept upstairs on the right) were also very good and we could sleep well in them. Nanette is a warm hostess who goes to great lengths to make you feel welcome. She also gave us many good tips for our stay. The house is quite far out. For us, the reason to rent this house. In the brasserie, which is within easy walking distance, there is a small selection of tasty dishes. A small supermarket can also be reached by bike in about 10 minutes. On some days (depending on the weather) there was a small odour problem in the bathroom from the drain pipe. Nevertheless, we will also consider renting this house in the future.

We have had a wonderful stay. We had fun, sailing with the Valk, and we went to Leiden with the motor boat. The weather has been fantastic and the house was very confortable and cozy. We definitely recomend it!

This house felt very warm and welcoming — you can tell how much care the host put into every detail. Even the guest book was full of heartwarming messages. The location is beautiful, right by the river, and I often found myself sitting on a nearby bench, enjoying the peaceful view and doing absolutely nothing. A fun tip: when navigating, be aware that Heiligegeestlaan and Veerstraat are connected by a ferry. It’s a unique part of the experience, so just plan your arrival route accordingly (unless your car can drive on water, haha). The house is also well located — about 30 minutes to Amsterdam and roughly 45 minutes to Rotterdam. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future!
