This place was just what Airbnb is at its best! The cottage was cozy and tidy. The atmosphere was peaceful and close to nature. The host and his family made us feel welcome and the breakfast ordered separately was delicious. The yard was full of all kinds of wonders and things to do for the kids, and they said when we left that it was the best place they had ever stayed. You definitely have to come to others!

I love this place to stay! A cottage in a great location and in a quiet area, but still within easy reach of the city center. A wonderfully renovated atmospheric cottage with a beach sauna right by the lake. I loved sleeping on the sauna room. The host responded quickly to messages and provided clear instructions, thanks!

Loved that place, especially that sauna has window and is heating up with firewood. And there is fireplace and that makes it cosy and warm!🤩

The four of us stayed in Reijo's beautiful wooden cabin for a week in mid to late Sept. - and our expectations were far exceeded. Reijo, the host, picked us up at the bus station in his car, which was incredibly helpful. On our arrival, he showed us around the hut, which he built himself with a lot of love and dedication. You can feel this personal touch in every detail. The hut is equipped with all the essentials and we were also given Wi-Fi on request. However, I can only recommend enjoying your time there without internet to really switch off. Activities & surroundings The location on the lake is fantastic! We had access to two rowing boats, two SUPs and even a pedal boat, which we used to explore the lake every day - it's really worth discovering the area from the water. The rest of the time we spent on the jetty, in front of the cosy fireplace in the evening or in the sauna. Reijos Cottage is a place to relax, switch off and enjoy - at any time of year!

Beautiful and peaceful place, well-equipped but still a cottage-like vibe. Two people and a dog enjoyed a week better than well. We might as well come back here.

Absolutely amazing little cottage. Contained everything you needed, cozy and pleasant. The environment is also beautiful and peaceful countryside. With Anu, the practical arrangements went smoothly and the communication was smooth. A big plus for animal friendliness. I could really stay again ❤️

The cottage with its surroundings is very pleasant and tidy. The cottage was well-equipped, everything you needed was found. Messaging with Esa is super smooth. Special thanks to the cottage's barrel sauna, which provided the best steam that has been experienced. It was also nice to swim and fish on the lake. It was worth going all the way from Pori. All I can do is recommend.

The cottage was really cozy and fully matched the description. We were really satisfied. Clean premises and a peaceful environment. A big plus for the excellent kitchen equipment!

The cabin was amazing, in a very secluded lake front area in the forest whilst still close by to Joutsa and the main road so it is still well connected. There were plenty of amenities including a firepit, bbq, wood fired sauna and even a rowboat to go out on the lake. The cabin itself was very nice inside and the kitchen was well equipped! Despite WiFi not being available at the cabin the mobile data coverage in the area is very good. Just to note bedlinen isn't included, although the host, Pasi, can provide this for a small additional fee on request. Pasi was very friendly, accommodating and helpful, and actually met us at the cabin to check in which was nice! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely quiet getaway in central Finland!

We had an Easter holiday in Elina's atmospheric log cabin. The views of Päijänne were lovely. The cottage was spacious for a group of 8 and matched the description well. It's a good idea to book and pay in advance! So you have the flexibility to get it right from the start of your vacation. We might as well stay again!

Topi is a fantastic host. He met us near the property and then took us to the property. He showed us around. The cabin is remote you can hear no traffic noise. Very peaceful, restful location. Would recommend this property to everyone.

Mika is a super polite host and the place is more than awesome. We stay five days in paradise and hope to come back sooner.

Peaceful family vacation for 4 nights in the best Lake Finland. Great place, both for its location and for the cottage! The cottage was clean, everything was thoughtfully set up, and it was functional. Communicating with hosts is hassle-free. The perfect destination for a Finnish cottage holiday, with modern amenities.

A wonderful paradise on the lake shore of Leppävesi! We spent 2 weeks in Mari‘s Mökki and everything was perfect. A very spacious house, well equipped and sauna was really good, too. The beach is child friendly. Communication with Mari and Ville was quick and friendly. We would definitely come back to this lovely place and can highly recommend it!

we really enjoyed our stay at Outi's place. The collage is great and very well equipped with everything we could need. Outi was really responsive to our request of information about the area and she gave us useful tips. we would love to visit again!
