Holiday rentals with a patio in Journal Square, Jersey City

Very nice apartment and extremely clean! Overall, very comfy and well-equipped. The downside (but that´s on us and not Melissa!) was the location. Despite the fact that it´s possible to take the bus to the city center, we experienced this being a bit of a burden. The bus terminal in the center is not very easy to orientate yourself in when being there the first time, also staff has been rather unfriendly and not very willing to help. The bus transport costs 8$ per trip for 2 people. So we paid 16$ every day to commute back and forward between the apartment and the center. As said, we should have informed ourselves better prior to the stay, but we would not book this one again due to the commuting time. Especially during busy times (morning), the trip takes up to 1 hour one way and busses were extremely crowded from time to time with no seat available. We are young and did not mind too much but I would not recommend this for anyone struggling with that. But again, this is on us! :)

Super appartement met een schitterend uitzicht. Het was van alle gemakken voorzien 3 kamers en badkamers. Een ruime keuken en een lekkere bank.

L’alloggio di Sebastian è la soluzione perfetta sé non si vuole spendere troppo per visitare Manhattan. Attenzione però, un biglietto per una sola corsa Union city-newyork costa 4$. Noi siamo stati solo quattro giorni quindi pagavamo 16$ al giorno in due, per andare e tornare in giornata, se si sta più giorni è una spesa da mettere in conto. L appartamento era perfetto per noi che eravamo due coppie, era super comodo: due stanze e due bagni. Di fronte c’è un fornitissimo market e tanti localini dove cenare a poco prezzo con cucina Domenica. Nelle vicinanze ci sono diverse vie che affacciano su su Manhattan e la vista è super. Il pullman impiega circa 20minuti per arrivare a Time Sqare . Dopo una giornata immersi nel traffico di newyork fa anche piacere rientrare in un quartiere tranquillo. Host super reattivo e per nulla invadente abbiamo fatto cekin e cekout in autonomia. Elettrodomestici big e super performanti! C’è tutto phon e ferro da stiro inclusi. Ottima la macchinetta per caffè

Asunnolla on kiva sijainti. Hienot näköalat läheiseltä Hamilton park observation deskiltä Manhattanille. Kristen oli superavulias ja vastasi viipymättä kaikkiin kysymyksiin sekä lähetti etukäteen ohjeita ja vinkkejä. Asunto ja sisustus sekä tavarat olivat uusia ja todella hienoja. Kulkeminen bussilla Manhattanille oli ihan helppoa kun ymmärsi eri aikataulut ja linjat sekä pysäkit, toki se oli vähän aikaavievää. Bussipysäkki oli lähes nurkan takana. Yläkerrasta kuului jonkun verran ääniä.

Amazing stay, even better than the photos! Host was also extremely responsive and very accommodating to changes needed due to travel disruptions.

Very clean and cozy, the shower and hot water was great, bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Parking serves a bit of a challenge, but not to hard to find a street spot. Felt pretty safe in the area and would definitely stay again!

Location parfaite. Logement spacieux, joliment et bien aménagé et équipé. Hôte très réactif. Echanges faciles et agréables. Bus situé à 10 /15 min du logement selon que le trajet descend ou monte, et à 30 / 40 min de l'immense gare routière de Manhattan, aussi lieu d'accès à plusieurs lignes de métro. Se renseigner au préalable sur les horaires des bus, notamment pour les retours le soir. Deux petits commerces de proximité à 5 min et un supermarché à 20 min, à pied. Après le bruit de New-York et la fatigue de la journée nous avons apprécié l'environnement résidentiel et le calme le soir et la nuit.

Perfect location, just down from the Path station. The accommodations worked out great for 2 adults and 2 teens, so we could have our own areas. Nice quiet area, very pretty, yet super close to NYC. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. We went to Francois's breakfast recommendation and it was fantastic. I would gladly stay here again if I'm back in NYC. I would feel perfectly safe in this area walking back late at night as well. As far a price, there's no way you could get 2 separate living areas (2 hotel rooms) for this amount in the city. Close to perfect.

Had a wonderful stay at Marcelo's place. He was always responsive to questions about anything and very quick to respond to any issues in the property. I liked that it was very close to the bus stop for the bus to New York City (Port Authority Bus Terminal). There is a shared full kitchen if you want to use it for breakfast or cooking meals. And also shared washer and dryer which is luxury.

I'm really glad I chose this spot for my 2 day trip to NYC. The house was on a street tucked away from the other, more busy streets, which was nice. My partner and I drove my car and were able to park it on the road or temporarily in the lot nearby until someone left for work (the host was also nice enough to text us to ask if we wanted to take her spot). We chose to take the Port Imperial ferry straight to NYC every day - the ferry was a 15 min Uber or 30 min walk away andwas 10 bucks a person and worked well to get to the heart of the city (8 min ferry ride). The house itself was comfy, clean, and had cute touches.

Jami's place is great. It was clean and exactly what we expected. The rooftop view was amazing. You can see the Empire State Building and the World Trade Center from the roof very nicely. The large open kitchen and living room was great for our group as we weren't all on top of each other. The price was great, and it was a great way to experience New York City without staying in NYC.

This place was great for our guys trip. It was spotless, inviting, and spacious. Her Airbnb was a relief to come to after a long red eye flight. We would definitely book again.

We had a lovely stay! Looked just like the photos and the neighborhood was surprisingly quiet. Conveniently located near MetLife Stadium which was our whole purpose of staying here. Would def stay here again.

Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting New York! Cody was super punctual and professional throughout the entire process. The house was spotless, well-maintained, and in a great location with restaurants, grocery stores, and a bus stop just steps away. I’ll definitely be staying here again whenever I’m in town.

Of all the AirBnBs I've stayed in, Andres was the most amazing host. He provided tons of information about the area and even how to use the public transportation. We spent most of our time at Liberty State Park and it was easy to get there via the Light Rail. I'm not a city girl (nor is my family), so I wouldn't necessarily let my teen son walk down the street by himself, but we didn't run into any problems. The house was lovely inside and I think the king bed was amazing! I think we'll have to consider getting one like that for home! Andres provides so much, from information, toiletries, sheets and towels, and even laundry detergent. It was almost like staying in a hotel with all the amenities, but you got a whole house. When local events required us to check in earlier than expected ,Andres was super helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Andres and his home to those looking for a rental in the area.

Wow what an absolute gem of an apartment . Very clean and has everything you would ever need , high spec appliances and furnishings . Location for us was just right about a 25 min walk to the path rail and you were in the heart of NYC. Great supermarket nearby . Anthony was super responsive to any questions we had .The rooftop is an amazing place to escape the hustle of the city and we watched some amazing sunsets from there. There is absolutely nothing less than perfection here , if you are lucky enough to find availability book it .. I can assure you will be as amazed as we were . The outside out of the control of the host. Our children witnessed a drug deals and drug use. I understand that it was a holiday but for the price to double was a not good deal. The actual place though was very nice and clean. Unfortunate we were not able to use the roll out bed. The host was awesome and kind. But for the price with 5 people 2 adults and 5 kids seemed off and for such a late check in and an early departure you are only there for approx 42 hours for 2 night stay.

Serdecznie polecam apartament Alexa! Jeśli chcecie odpocząć w spokojnej okolicy po całodziennym zwiedzaniu New York, apartament Alexa jest idealnym rozwiązaniem. Jest oddalony 20 min od lokalnej kolejki PATH, którą można dostać się do centrum Manhattanu. Warto poświęcić ten czas na spacer podziwiając urokliwe Hoboken. Centrum miasta wieczorami bywa hałaśliwe dla tego usytuowanie apartamentu na uboczu jest doskonałe.

Excellent location! Very easy to walk to the Path to get to New York quickly. Very clean and had all the amenities to make the stay perfect.

The Haüs of Bliss was just as cozy and kinky as advertised! My partner and I had a wonderful weekend there and loved every minute of it! The projector in the play room was also a wonderful touch where we could watch a movie or show when we wanted to take some breaks. We had so much fun and would definitely come back.

We stayed here for a month and have family in the area. The location is great, easy access to groceries, Mamilton Park, the shopping district and delightful historic blocks of townhomes and brownstones. And, there a great wine shop across the the park where Pavonia Ave has been turned into an outdoor dining plaza. I personally like the upstairs downstairs living which makes the apartment easy for two. The kitchen is very nicely designed and stocked with all the accessories and great refrigerator and stove. The owners are right here and easy to communicate with. Access was a cinch. This is a great spot to hang out.
