Villa holiday rentals in Jost Van Dyke

We very much enjoyed our stay at Pressure Drop Villa (PDV). The view is amazing and the location , though private, is close enough to beaches, groceries and restaurants. In addition, the kitchen is well stocked and supplies for the beach are provided. We used the beach chairs, cooler and beach towels almost daily (had a rainy day). It is a short drive to many fantastic beaches. From PDV Salt Pond, Francis Bay, Maho Bay, and Skinny Legs (restaurant) are all a fairly short drive. Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay beaches are a bit further. It was easier for us to park at Cinnamon Bay and take a Taxi to Trunk Bay. We also went into Cruz Bay to La Tapa for a fantastic dinner one evening. To end the evening we would unwind on the deck . It’s really nice to sit on the deck and relax and soak up the sights and sounds of Coral Bay. Jean was always available to answer our questions and give us guidance when needed. We would stay here again.

Great views, plenty of room in the house, friendly and helpful host. Would recommend arriving before dark - will make finding the driveway easier, but if you keep track of the driveways and turns from the host's instructions, you'll be okay. Only the master bedroom has AC, but some well-placed fans can help cool the rest of the house.

If I could give Kandee's place 10 stars, I would. The photos don't do this place justice. When you open the front door the view is breath taking. Kandee has thought of everything to make your stay so easy. So many beach and pool toys and all the kitchen appliances and cooking spices etc you need. She was incredibly helpful when we had an issue with the lock on the bedroom building and fixed the issue right away. This place is split in to 3 levels, upstairs is living, a separate buidling down a level has bedrooms, then the pool is on the level below. All with amazing views. We watched the sunrise over the bay every morning from the bed, incredible. The photos don't do this place justice. Go ahead and book right away. And don't forget your 4 wheel drive for the drive up to the property and around the island in general.

I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone! Everything was as advertised the views were stunning the home was absolutely beautiful and sabrina was an excellent host. My favorite part was that it wasn't dead in the center of town nor was it too far away from Charlotte Amalie or anything else, really 10/10 on all fronts.

Our family had an amazing time at Windchime. The property is beautiful and very private with amazing views that are even better than the photos. It is in a central location that is an easy drive into town and all the amazing beaches. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Sailfish Villa. The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Communication was smooth and timely, and check-in was a breeze. Our favorite was sitting on the balcony enjoying the water view. We were able to see turtles from the balcony as well as other wildlife. We really enjoyed seeing the turtles while snorkeling. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Thanks for a great experience!

Nora & Bruce were absolutely exceptional host and hostess. Even before we got there she was always so responsive . Bruce checked us in and made us feel right at home from the start. His hospitality went above and beyond any AirBNB I’ve stayed in. He even dropped us off at the beaches while we were there and showed us around the island. Place was very clean, with beautiful views and excellent walkable location to Cruz Bay with all the restaurants, shopping and bars close by. I would recommend this place to anyone staying on the island. You will not be disappointed and truly have a wonderful experience and time!!

From the moment I saw the listing I fell in love with the home. Once I arrived o realized why. It felt like home (only in paradise). The home was perfectly described. Meghan and the crew were amazing and so responsive and willing to help with any questions we had. Their concierge Chloe was also extremely helpful. A week wasn’t long enough and I can’t wait to go back!

We had an amazing week at the Tropical Palm Villa!! Spencer was extremely helpful and always quick to respond to any questions we had. Mason met us and made us feel right at home while checking us into the villa. The views from villa are incredible! The place was perfect for my family of five to enjoy St. Thomas and all it has to offer. We were especially grateful for the amenities that made cooking and grilling a breeze. We also enjoyed the beach gear that was provided, including chairs, beach umbrella, and snorkel gear. The location of the house is perfect, offering easy access to the beach, or a quick drive into Red Hook for restaurants, groceries, and the ferry to St. John. Overall, we had a tremendous week and hope to make it back soon.

This place was amazing. The property was very well maintained and clean. Everything worked and it had everything we needed. The location is close to hiking, beaches, grocery and food. Kim was a great host we will be back for sure.

We returned to Elysium this spring, having rented the same home 18 years ago for our honeymoon. The living area is upstairs, with 2 bedrooms downstairs on the second level, each with a separate entrance and bathrooms. It is ~15min from Cruz Bay, but worth the drive - private with unbelievable views. There is lots of outdoor space on both levels, and of course the private pool. There are lots of beautiful native plants on the property, and there are birds everywhere to serenade you. BookVI was very proactive and flexible. They guided us to the property and were in communication every day to make sure that all was good. You will want a jeep as the road from town is a little hilly, there is a very short strip of unpaved road just before the driveway, and the driveway is paved but steep. (as is the case with many of the hillside homes!) This was a peaceful place to wake up every morning, and to spend the evening after exploring beaches and hiking. Highly recommend!

House is very nice , spacious , in a good location , has everything you need for a great week and the views are amazing ! Our family of 4 adults 2 teens and 7yo had a great time !

Chirag was so kind and responsive! His place is gorgeous. The pool felt amazing after a long day at the beach or a hike. The place looked just as pictured. I would definitely come back!

We just stayed at Zack’s a couple of days ago and can’t recommend enough! We stayed for 2 days after coming back from a boat charter in the BVIs and we really wanted to explore St. Thomas. Zack met us at the apartment/studio. The place was super cool like a New York loft and had lots of room for 2 adults and 3 teenage boys! We walked to restaurants and the Diamond District and Zack arranged for a car to the airport! Loved the vibe!

Beautiful place with a beautiful view, will definitely be back next year, the jeep was a huge plus making it a breeze to get around and explore. Rolitto was such a sweet dog to have as a playful companion for the week, didn’t bark at all and just hung out and wanted love. He also did amazing with our 18 month old, my personal dogs aren’t as patient as Rolitto. It was quiet and secluded being up in the hills, with a pool overlooking the city was mesmerizing thank you Francis for having an amazing place to stay

Fabulous place with pretty views, comfortable and with a great pool. We had a great time! Offers privacy with bedrooms separated from the main living area each with their own bathroom and porch. Lots of games. Lots of wonderful beaches within 30 min drive. Overall amazing place to stay! Hope to do it again someday.

Coconut Breeze was as good as advertised. The home was comfortable, well stocked and had spectacular views, absolutely perfect for our group of 6. Definitely get a 4 wheel drive vehicle as the roads leading up are steep and a bumpy, but hey it’s St John and that’s what you signed up for. While the home is tucked into the private, lush jungle hillside it’s also conveniently located a short drive away from multiple restaurants, grocery stores etc. We had an issue with an AC unit in the cottage, but it was promptly resolved by our host. The cottage porch was not screened in, but maybe this is something that will be done in the future. If you are staying in Coral Bay Coconut Breeze is the way.

We really enjoyed our stay! The view from the house is incredible, and the amenities provided basically every possible need. We enjoyed the provided beach chair, beach shade, beach towels, snorkel gear, cooler with ice packs, provided snacks, and more! The kitchen had pretty much any appliance and gadget you could need or want, plus Tupperware for prepping beach snacks and lunch. The location was great just up the hill from groceries and restaurants and a short drive from the national park and beaches. The pool area and view from it were terrific. It has to be one of the better sunset watching spots in the island. When we come back to St. John we would easily consider staying here again.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful this house and location is. A beautiful view of the water in almost every location in the home. Very clean and the ere was plenty of room for 5 of us. We loved the spacious dining room with a huge dining table to seat a large group. When on the deck, you are almost directly above the water-feels like you are on a cruise ship! Andrew responded immediately whenever we had a question. I would definitely recommend this home!

From start to finish, April made our stay one of our most memorable vacations. Having visited the island multiple times, we knew exactly what we wanted—and this property checked all the boxes. Anything we needed or requested was promptly addressed by either April or her property managers. This property is truly one of a kind, offering both stunning sunrise and sunset views. The ocean breeze is strong but refreshing, keeping you cool throughout the day. We also opted to have April provision our groceries, and she went above and beyond—everything was neatly put away upon our arrival. Water Island has always held a special place in our family’s heart, and staying here made it even more unforgettable. We can’t recommend it enough!

Absolutely Perfect Stay at Just Peachy! Our stay at Just Peachy in St. John was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of the mountains and ocean—it truly felt like paradise. The villa itself was immaculate, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Melissa, our host, was phenomenal! She was incredibly responsive, always just a message away, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Whether it was providing great local recommendations, answering any questions we had, or simply ensuring we felt at home, her hospitality was unmatched. Waking up to breathtaking sunrises, lounging on the patio with the cool island breeze, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings made this trip unforgettable. The view is amazing, plenty of room and very spacious. AWD is a must for the driveway, pool are is very nice. No complaints at all. We loved our week here !!!!

Kurt’s place was absolutely amazing for a relaxing get away. The space was beautiful and well maintained. The location is amazing as well with a less than 5 minute walk to Sapphire beach and a 5 minute drive to Red Hook. Kurt is also an amazing host who is extremely responsive and quick to help with anything you may need. Cant wait to book again!!

I’ve had staying in many airbnbs before, and Stacie’s place has been one of the best I’ve stayed at. It had everything we needed and wanted plus more. Don’t even think twice to book this place! It’s beautiful. Also bathrooms were recently remodeled and they’re both beautiful. I will say that this home is not for children under or the elderly.
