Beachfront holiday rental in Jones Beach Island

Great stay! We had a wonderful time. The home was in a very convenient location. Easy to get to from the ferry, close to the main restaurants and beach, but still far enough to feel quiet and private. The home was clean and had many little details that made our stay cozy and welcoming. Bikes and beach chairs were wonderful for a beach getaway on Fire Island. Outdoor shower had hot water which was very nice since we were visiting preseason. Host was very responsive and helpful. We have stayed in many different places on Fire Island in the past and are very happy we found this home and host. We look forward to booking again in the future.

My friend and I had a great stay at Frank's house. Coming from NYC, it was wonderful to have such a peaceful and quiet spot to relax. We enjoyed walking to the nearby marina to observe the family of swans and to the small sandy beach. The beds were very comfortable and the house was clean and well-equipped to cook. We were glad we rented a car as there wasn't much in walking distance in terms of restaurants and grocery stores, but there were plenty of options within a 5-15 minute drive. Highly recommend Frank's house for a Long Island escape!

We had a wonderful weekend at this apartment. It offers everything you could need on site. The oven operates very well. Sheets and towels are supplied. Although the beach isn't large, it's quite enjoyable to sit there in the morning to observe the kite surfers or in the evening to admire the stars. Highlands is a lovely little village with scenic walks at Sandy Hook or Hartshorne Woods Park. It was easy to get in touch with Rob, who consistently responded quickly to our messages. We look forward to coming back!

Lovely, cozy cottage in a safe town with a beautiful view! The bed was so comfortable and everything was so clean. We appreciated the little sweet touches that were left for myself, my husband and our pup. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Patchogue and would absolutely stay here again whenever we come back to visit!

We were there for a funeral. One family member came in from Hawaii, one from Washinton, and one from Califirnia. The apartment was cozy, well-appointed, and literally a block from the beach. The nearby grocery store and eateries was helpful. Would we stay there again? Absolutely.

Great spot very near the ferry, but the small bay beach still feels relatively private. Quick 5 min walk to the ocean side. Michelle was very helpful and communicative through our stay

Beautiful house and great place to stay with access to the beach and the rest of Long Island while feeling like you’re tucked away in your own little vacation spot.

Roberto was such a great host! The house was so cute and perfect for six people. It’s right off the water taxi stop, which was so convenient for getting to and from cherry grove (abt a 30 min ride to cherry grove, abt $20 per person). It’s also very close to a great beach. We would definitely stay again! Thank you Roberto!

Very very good Airbnb experience. The house is cosy, organized and well loved and the gardens/pool are serenely beautiful. It’s the perfect spot. I’d recommend highly.

The house was beautiful and even nicer than the pictures. We loved the pool and the beach was right there. Tim was super responsive- especially around check in time. Would easily stay there again next time i am im the area !

Geoffrey and Thomas were very gracious hosts, filled with benevolence, they greeted us with such warmth, gave us a tour of their beautiful home, along with the complimentary beverages, providing us with resources as well as information about the island since we’re newcomers, the house was lovely, clean and serene, hot tub was amazing, we enjoyed hearing their stories about fire island as well as giving us recommendations for food, shopping and sightseeing, it’s good to know fellow New Yorkers will have your back, very happy we picked their place to stay, absolutely would come back.

This is a perfect spot in a magical place. Honestly the photos don’t do it justice. The views from the house are stunning. The deck is incredible and I loved listening to ocean waves all day and night. My friends and I had a great time. Will definitely be back! Thanks again.

This beautifully designed house blends warm, modern furnishings with sunlit spaces, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that feels like home in the heart of nature. Traveling with family, including two young children, was a breeze thanks to the thoughtful inclusion of toys and board games, which added to the convenience and enjoyment of our stay. The kitchen has everything you need to entertain and the backyard BBQ was a cherry on top.

the house was extremely comfortable...quiet yet close to town and a 5 minute easy walk to the beach. it's a little small, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, but well-appointed. the pool is gorgeous. shawn was extremely responsive to any questions we had .

Can’t say enough great things about John’s property! Our family (2 adults and 2 teens) loved our long weekend away. The location is amazing, right across the street from the beach entrance and walkable to a couple eateries, supermarket and subway. It was spotless, spacious and just as shown in the pictures. Stocked with the basics, nice kitchen with everything we needed. We had a couple small questions and couldn’t get over how responsive and nice John and Ashley are. Also super easy check out, which was extra nice. We are already looking forward to booking a trip to come back!

The house is great. Plenty of room. Close to beach and bay. The market is a short 1 minute walk. The beach is a 2 minute walk. Chairs, umbrellas and beach cart are waiting for use. Great place. Greg and Sandra were very responsive. Looking forward to next year.

The apartment was very clean and beautiful. The check-in was simple and easy. The communication with Nakeita and Lateef was great. The view from the deck was nice, and we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely return if we are in the area.

We came to Long Beach to spend the weekend with our son from Manhattan. He had an easy time getting to Long Beach on the LIRR. Access from JFK was also fairly easy. House had plenty of room for all of us. Easy access to beach. Short walk to boardwalk. Several bars and restaurants within walking distance. Lots of options.

Great location and prefect place to stay for local wedding

If you are looking to explore New York for a few days or longer then Jay's place is great. Just a few minutes from the Long Beach station, Penn or Grand Central are about an hour away on a direct LIRR train. You will save $$$ by staying here compared with Manhattan. Long Beach is a safe, full of interesting shops. The 10km boardwalk is just a few minutes away. The apartment of character in a listed building full of charm. Loved the well stocked kitchen and would not hesitate to come back again.

We loved our stay at Mischele’s. It was perfect for our little family. A cute and comfortable little coastal apartment and jumping off point for visits to NYC on the ferry. Most importantly we felt like we were staying at a place owned by a friend. Thanks Mischele!

This place was absolutely stunning—far beyond what I expected! The house was immaculate, and the decor perfectly matched my birthday theme, which made the stay feel extra special. I’m already planning to come back in the summer to fully enjoy the beach. Highlights: The beds were incredibly comfortable—I sank right in and slept like a dream. We were lucky enough to spot swans and their babies on the ocean, which was such a beautiful moment. The backyard was gorgeous, and since the sun made an appearance, I got to enjoy the picnic bench. The large windows let in so much natural light and offered lovely views. The host was communicative, kind, and genuinely welcoming. If you’re looking for a peaceful beach getaway, I 100% recommend this place. Can’t wait to return!
