Monthly Rentals in Johnstons River

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing weeklong stay at Lisa and Rob's waterfront cottage. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and centrally located. It's completely private with a level yard overlooking the river. It's peaceful and quiet - yet only 15 minutes from downtown Charlottetown if you want to go out for some city nightlife. One word of warning - in the twilight hours of August, there are a lot of mosquitoes outside. Fortunately, this place has a screened-in section of its huge deck along with a sunroom which we made regular use of. Lisa and Rob were terrific hosts. We were personally greeted upon arrival and then given complete privacy thereafter. The cottage was extremely clean, well-stocked, and organized, making great use of the available space. A binder with detailed instructions for all appliances in each room was also helpful. There was even a nice welcome basket of goodies! Our hosts were very responsive whenever we needed to communicate with them.

The Peter’s Homestead was a beautiful space for our PEI trip! Exquisitely furnished, private, peaceful, clean and comfortable! Just about 15 minutes drive from Charlottetown where there are restaurants and entertainment! We recommend seeing the Anne musical!! Just about an hour from any beach you want to visit, and of course Anne’s Heritage Place!! We were very happy and would love to come back someday! The house is in a wooded area so you will need bug spray for the mosquitoes (which they provide at the house).

Perfect stay to get away from the city noise and relax on a porch in front of beautiful water view! Michelle is a great and responsive host, the place is very cozy and has everything you would need!

Great place that's close to a nice walking trail. AC worked well during the heat wave we saw while we stayed there. The host responded quickly to all our questions and made sure we had what we needed. would recommend for anyone staying in PEI needing a central location that is quiet but still close to the capital. For future trips we would book again!
