Beautiful place! Second time I’ve stayed and they are always super friendly! They make sure you aren’t having any issues especially if there is any change in the weather.

Beautiful home, a great place to relax and enjoy time with family! Everything was exactly as described. The hosts went above and beyond with their home it was very cute and comfortable. They have lots of helpful information with things to do in the surrounding area.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Wildflower cabin- it was clean, nicely decorated and contained everything we needed to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. Allison was an excellent host, providing frequent communication and clear directions, to make sure we had everything we needed. We were close to wineries as well as hiking trails. We would definitely return for another stay.

Amazing get away to spend time with our grown kids and their families. Lots to do with the game room, fire pit, kayaks, fishing, etc… this location is pet friendly and had a very large fenced in porch with the dogs loved. We took walks on the winding country roads and met minimal cars. But those that did drive by met us with a wave and a smile. One car stopped to admire our pets and welcome us to the area and said how thankful they were to have guests in the area. We will definitely make this an annual stay.

It’s was a great little get away! Gloria was very responsive with all our questions. The date we had originally booked for, the area was due to get some major flooding. When we voiced our concerns, Gloria was very understanding and let us change our weekend. The cabin was very cozy. The deck to the side of the cabin was nice for reading in the morning. It wasn’t too far from hiking trails. Gloria even let us know of an event happening in the town near the cabin. Which we did venture over too and did a little exploring! Overall, it was a great get away.

Beautiful cabin with all the comforts of home. Owner was responsive, friendly and helpful. The town and surrounding area are gorgeous if you want to explore, and there are great restaurants everywhere. Would 100% stay here again.

Wow! This cabin was spectacular! It is so chic and cozy. Very modern rustic. It was so clean and the landscape was beautiful. the hot tub was amazing, bathroom was clean, kitchen had everything, and the living room was inviting! We are seriously hoping to come back. It was our favorite Airbnb stay so far. Thank you, Jess! You guys are great!

My husband I stayed at Linda’s adorable place on a cross-country move. We had driven 13 hours when we arrived and maps delivered us easily. The cottage (best word I can use to describe) was clean and filled with adorable vintage artistic items. My exhausted husband was willing to head into Carbondale for pizza and it was an easy trip there and back (16 mins. Each way). This was a wonderful oasis for us on our journey.

Patty was wonderful, she sent instructions on how to get in ahead of time and called to make sure we were able to find it. The cabin was beautiful and very peaceful. While slower, I did have cell service but it was really nice to disconnect for the weekend. There is a beautiful porch overlooking a pond where we enjoyed our morning coffee. Our toddler loved walking around the property and had plenty of space on the porch to play. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to booking again next year!

FWIW, I was able to get my small car (Chevy Sonic) through most of the road/driveway. I couldn't for the last ~200 yards, which is fine b/c the description in the listing made me prepare to carry my stuff longer than that.

If you are looking for a place to unplug and relax outdoors with a good book this is the place for you! We had a wonderful 4-night stay at this gorgeous and peaceful country property. The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, providing plenty of amenities that made our visit even more enjoyable. The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable—truly a home away from home. They even left us s'mores supplies for the fire pit! One helpful tip: cellphone reception in the area is quite limited, so be sure to download maps ahead of time for easier access to local grocery stores, restaurants, and hiking trails. Overall, it was a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, and we’d absolutely love to return!

Spacious, well stocked and clean. Private setting but still close to town. Lots of activities such as the Wii, basketball hoop game and cornhole in the garage. The primary bed is a little firm and very high. Amazing deck overlooking the trees. Close to giant city state park and an easy drive to fern Clyffe. Was a great stay for a long weekend!

We loved this airbnb. The house was very clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. The screened porch was lovely and looked out on the pond. There was a mowed path around the lake that led to a stand of pines that we thought was beautiful. We loved all of windows and at night the fireflies gave us a show! We hiked at Fern Clyffe and Giant City State parks and were impressed with both. Highly recommend this airbnb!

This weekend was truly a slice of heaven for both Doug & I. From being over loaded for over a year at work to deaths in the family, kids and home life...we were looking for a private, peaceful getaway to distress and Miss Donna's cabin was absolutely amazing. from the charming decor to the smell of the cedar, the birds in the morning to frogs and crickets at night, it was so relaxing and peaceful. Its not far from Burden Falls, Garden of the Gods and many other trails and activities! or if you're looking for a quiet little retreat to post up at for the weekend, this is perfect!! we will definitely be back, probably August! We loved being able to see all of the beautiful wildlife that is on the property and we loved fishing all day on the lake. The host was very helpful and accommodating. We all had a great time.

We loved our stay, it was very cozy on a chilly night. I loved the high ceilings in here, it felt very open and spacious. I’d love to do another’s girls trip here! We especially loved the fireplace and watching old movies on the dvd player.

This is a perfect little cottage near the lake. It had everything we needed, including nice outdoor patio spaces for eating and a big firepit. You can't see much of the lake from the cottage, but it's easy to get to - across a quiet road and down a very long flight of stairs. There's a nice big dock for fishing, swimming, star gazing at night, boating, and just relaxing and enjoying the view (it's a particularly scenic section of the lake because there is no development on the other side of the water - just forest!). We loved having access to kayaks and enjoyed fishing off the dock. Would love to return in summer when we can swim and do even more water activities!

This is the perfect getaway from life for the weekend! So cozy, relaxing and peaceful. Good for the soul. 10/10 recommend.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time. We spent lots of time hiking, swimming, relaxing in the hot tub, watching movies, and playing games. It rained off and on during our trip but we still had a blast. We would recommend this spot to anyone. We had no issues while we were there. Jess was very responsive in answering questions prior to our stay. The house had everything we needed and more.

Peaceful, secluded property. Cabin had everything that you would need and more. Easily one of the nicest Air bnb's we've stayed.

Loved our stay in this cabin. It was extremely clean throughout and everything was in very good condition. Our hosts were kind and responsive! The location is perfect for hikers with a 10 minute drive to Fern Clyffe or about an hour to Garden of the Gods. We loved the peaceful area set well back from the main road. If traveling with younger kids just be aware of the ladder-like stairs to the loft and lack of wifi or cable tv. But if you're looking for a clean and quiet place to use as a basecamp for your outdoor adventures or just unplugging for a while, this is a great cabin.
