Welcome to Sunna and Grandfather's Log Cabin_Sun. There are two themes of the sun. The first is "Looking at Gongaksan Mountain". I made the wall diagonal so that I could see Gongaksan Mountain, one of the 100 most famous mountains in Korea, and the sky above it. The second is "Breath, Rest". I didn't paint the room at all and finished it with cypress wood, hoping that the body and mind of the guests can comfortably breathe and rest. Also, I tried to make the place feel as spacious as possible, and to feel like everything is connected, by not blocking it as much as possible. The Sun is a house that Sunna's father made himself, except for the sink and table set. If you comfortably sit on the deck or the window that the sun is proud of, you can enjoy the dance of the clouds and the wind spreading over Mt. Gongja and the sky above it. The sound of birds and grass bugs moving around, and the sound of the stream across the street that you can hear if you listen carefully will comfort your heart.

The use of the fire pit space is free, and please clean it up after use (buy firewood). - This place is 700m above sea level, so be sure to bring a warm coat as the temperature is lower than the flat area. - As it is a natural space, you may see insects inside and outside. Please refer to it when making a reservation. - 2-wheel cars may not be able to come up during heavy snowfall. In that case, we will help you move to our car.

It is a guesthouse in a cottage located in a quiet rural village within a 15-minute drive to Gangneung Sea. The building is connected, but it consists of a separate entrance, toilet, and self-catering facility, so you can have an independent stay (Netflix is available). Free parking is available in the yard, and there is an outdoor dining area, so you can also have a barbecue experience with the electric grill (no charcoal/bonfire due to the risk of wildfires). If you come with children, you can also experience the season with owners such as the rural grandmother and grandpa. It is not spacious, so we recommend up to 2 adults and 2 children. If you are more than 3 adults, it is narrow. We will also prepare breakfast for those who apply for a home cooked meal such as mom's rice (excluding charges). On the way to see the Gangneung Sea, enjoy the countryside and warm heart together.

A small house in a mountain valley

※ During the summer, you must park your vehicle in the yard 800 meters below the property and walk! It is a villa built in a mountain valley to make memories with children. You can see that I made my own campsite after feeling ashamed while folding and drying a wet tent on a rainy day. It's cold, but everything you need is there. Personal camping equipment is not available. Sometimes it's a place to go for healing with your loved ones:)
