We absolutely loved our stay! The home is surrounded by nature, and every day we were greeted by a variety of wildlife and beautiful birds—it truly felt like a peaceful retreat away from the city. At the same time, it was incredibly convenient, with grocery stores and anything else we needed just 20 minutes away. Polly and Peggie were such gracious and kind hosts. We’re so grateful for the wonderful month we spent here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in nature. We will be back!

We were traveling from north to south, and this place was the right place to stay! You can find restaurants and a grocery store in a short drive or walk. The place has a peaceful view with quiet atmosphere. A spacious living room was awesome to spend time with our family. Yogurt and juice in the fridge gave us a very welcoming vibe too! We wished that we had more time to stay there.😊

My sister was visiting from Canada so we decided to head to Virginia to hit some wineries and breweries. We had a lovely stay at Elizabeth’s place! It looked just like the photos, was clean and cozy, and a perfect place to unwind at the end of the night with a glass of wine. The hosts texted us recommendations of stuff to do in the area and we had an amazing time. Great couch and TV set up, very comfortable beds, and beautiful wooded surroundings. Highly recommend for any trip to the area!

Had a great time staying at this house. We recently moved back to the U.S. from living in Japan. I booked this place so that we would be able to have my daughters come for Christmas. It had been several years since we had all been together. Cory was an excellent host. There was a Christmas tree in the house which made it feel more like home. The house was clean and had loads of amenities. The house is a quick walk into historic Charles town which has restaurants, stores and coffee shops. Close to Harpers ferry. Would recommend this place to anyone.
