Holiday houses in Jay County

We have booked with Katie twice now and loved each house equally! Welcoming, kind host and beautiful, clean homes!

We had a great stay here!! The place itself was bigger than expected, and everything was in great condition and well maintained. The outdoor space was beautiful, unfortunately it was too cold for us to really use it. But we did love having the gas grill available. If back in the area, we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, spacious home a short, walkable distance to downtown Celina and Grand Lake St. Mary’s. Comfortable beds throughout the 4 bedrooms. Nicely remodeled bathrooms on 1st and 2nd floors. Comfortable sitting/tv room with a nice assortment of books and toys for younger kids. Ample parking and full laundry room. Great communication from Michelle, the property manager. She provided several recommendations for the local area and left a nice, personalized note for arrival. We were in town to visit family who live in the area look forward to staying at this home again.

We were very impressed with the house and Cece. We met and talked to Cece for a good while. She was nice to talk with and gave us some suggestion about the neighbor hood. I do recomend and will atay there again when I come for some races. Thanks

Had a great time here! Was very impressed upon arrival. This place is a good walking distance from the river as well as other places to keep you busy. Easy to find and was provided with clear entry instructions.

If you’re in the Upland/Taylor University area, don’t look any further! We were in Upland for an event at Taylor and stayed one night at the Cottage On 2nd. This place is exactly as described and looks just like the pictures. Love the style of this place and decorated thoughtfully. We appreciated all the extra touches: a guest book to sign, lotion, toiletries, tea, coffee, snack bars, board games, real house plants, cute garden/outdoor seating area. You can easily walk to Taylor’s campus if needed. The hosts left clear instructions and loads of tips for the area. We will be booking again when we need a place to stay in Upland.

When we got to the home none of the restrooms had toilet paper and we could not find it anywhere in the home. So we did run down to as store to get some. The included body wash/shampoo/etc were basically empty bottles, luckily we brought our own. Other than that, the stay was great, hot tub and fire pit were nice.

This place was exactly what we needed for an overnight stay in Muncie for our daughter’s college graduation. I had a few questions and requests but Cheryl got back with me almost immediately. If I ever need to stay in Muncie again this is the place I’ll try to book!
