Beachfront holiday rental in Jan Thiel

Our family of 5 enjoyed staying in this home very much, the decor was beautiful, the pool and outdoor cabanas were amazing!! The community was gated and we felt very safe. The hosts were amazing at communicating and gave us great recommendations!!! Also the rental car was much needed and very convenient!! Would definitely stay here again, Curaçao was a beautiful island!

We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our Curaçao adventures! The property is quiet and secure while still being just a few minutes away from everything you need. The private dock is majestic (the sunsets!), the house is well-equipped, and communication was always prompt and helpful!

The place was great! Everything was clean and matched the pictures! The only thing was, its close to a busy road and there were a lot of loud cars on the weekend but otherwise it was very close to Jan Thiel beach and not far from everything else! Being on the bay, the breeze felt amazing with the doors open and the air conditioning was nice to help sleep. The recommendations were helpful when choosing a place to eat. Thank you!

We spent almost a month at Britt”s Blue Bay villa and had an amazing stay. The apartment was absolutely pristine. It was spacious, spotless and offered all the amenities that a family needs for long term stays. Everything we needed was available upon arrival such as coffee, tea and other basic cooking and cleaning necessities. The location has a spacious balcony and is a few minutes walk to gorgeous blue bay beach. We visited many beaches whilst in Curaçao and ultimately we loved Blue Bay! The resort was perfect and we will be back. Britt and Marianne were so incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help us with questions, suggestions and were available at all times. This was the best rental and I highly recommend Britt and this location!

En el apartamento todo excelente. Dormitorios amplios con su baño y aire acondicionado. Cocina con todo lo necesario. Al frente del edificio hay una bonita playa en la que se pueden ver gran variedad de peces y corales. Igual muy cerca hay dos restaurantes bastante buenos. Se puede llegar caminando. Lo que no hay son supermercados. El más cercano, en Papagallo, está a varios kilómetros, a menos que te guste caminar. El carro es necesario. Playa Kokoma está cerca. Muy bonita. La silla cuesta $6.00. Parqueo gratis. Igual cerca esta Directors Bay. No se paga. poco nombrada pero está linda para hacer snorkel. La pasamos muy bien.

A Suzy é uma host magnífica. Muito simpática. Indicou-nos logo tudo o que era preciso . A casa é muito bonita e muito bem equipada. Está também muito bem decorada. Lugar muito calmo e pacífico . A localização fica numa área residencial pelo que se deve obrigatoriamente recorrer ao carro. A questão de pagar electricidade é um pouco estranha, e penso que o valor de 0,70 dólares é um pouco alto... embora isso esteja descrito no anúncio.

Tivemos uma ótima experiência na Hospedagem, hotel fica próximo ao centro de curaçao. A anfitriã nos recebeu muito bem e nós ajudou com várias dicas sobre a região. A cozinha do nosso quarto nos atendeu muito bem para fazermos nosso café da manhã.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the Villa! Travelling with our two children, the Villa was perfect for our family. With lots of sleeping and living space, it is also well equipped for children with dishes, books, toys, coloring books, beach sand toys and pool toys. Our daughter hardly left the pool and we enjoyed the stunning views. The beautiful outdoor space is well covered for shade from the sun and shelter if there's rain. It's where we spent all of our time! The private beach was one of our favorite snorkeling spots where we also enjoyed searching for shells and sea glass. Andre and his team were very responsive and helpful, providing great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit around the island. We highly recommend!

Great apartment ! Catharina was kind and responsive. The add-on services from PMI were worth it : late checkout, crib and high chair, grocery delivery. Convenient to request too. The style is modern, there's space and light, and the patio is really nice. AC works well. Large closets in the bedrooms. Plenty of towels provided. It's pleasant to be on the edge of the property as it shields from others/noise/etc. Pool is not far, and a delight, with the occasional iguana walking by. We didn't manage to walk to the beach, but it was a quick drive. Awesome snorkeling on both sides, lots of space, a bar, a playground in the sand, ice cream and pizza truck...! And the beach entry fee is included with this airbnb. Construction noise was not "New York loud" but definitely disturbing the otherwise peace and quiet (weekday time). Few improvements possible : augment wifi range, master bathroom could use a privacy curtain/door, add some shelving/table space to put our stuff in the living room :)

Colin's villa was a great place to stay especially if you want to hang out at the very busy beaches in Jan Thiel beaches. They were a very easy walk away and had all the amenities needed for the beach. Good base, and restaurants and plenty of chairs. to relax in. We preferred driving to quieter beaches like Kleine Knip and these beaches were a good 45 minutes away. The nearby beaches were definitely busy and lively so if that is your thing being able to walk there was awesome. we also found you could reserve a spot in a quieter spot for a very reasonable price. Had we discovered that earlier we would have taken advantage of that more. The condo itself had everything needed to enjoy the stay. We cooked breakfast every morning as it was quicker than going out so helped us start our day faster. Good air conditioning,very comfortable bed, and a fantastic shower. When we come back to the island we will be checking this place out and would absolutely stay there again.

The house was perfect for our family of 4. The porch was our favorite place. Beds were comfy & the villa is spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Stefanie is a very accommodating host.

This apartment was so amazing. It was modern, clean and had everything you need…. Plus a hundred other things you didn’t even know you needed (shopping bags, pool noodles, coolers and ice packs, snorkel, water shoes, bug spray - there’s so many thoughtful inclusions that I can’t name them all). Upon check-in we received full videos on how to operate everything (first time I have ever received this and it was extremely helpful). Having two bathrooms in one apartment was such a nice bonus. Beautiful master walk-in closet (I wish I stayed long enough to actually use it!). The balcony was the biggest balcony I have ever seen. There was a full dining table, two lounge chairs and still a ton of leftover outdoor space. I will 100% stay here if I ever return.

Die Villa befindet sich in einer überwachten Anlage. Das Haus entsprach der Beschreibung und ist neuwertig und entsprechend gepflegt. Es war alles vorhanden. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Der Aussenbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet und bietet viel Platz. Im Pool kann man sich sehr gut abkühlen. Uns hat der Aufenthalt gefallen und haben einen guten Startpunkt für unsere Ausflüge gehabt. Roy war immer sehr gut erreichbar und war sehr hilfsbereit.

We hebben hier een heerlijke tijd gehad. Het huis is zeer mooi ingericht, heel sfeervol en van alle gemakken voorzien. Vooraf heeft Stephany heel goed met ons meegedacht en moeite gedaan om ons verblijf zo comfortabel mogelijk te laten zijn. Onze dochter is meervoudig gehandicapt. Hierdoor was er een speciaal matras nodig voor haar bed. Stephanie heeft voor ons gezorgd dat deze bij aankomst voor ons aanwezig was. Dit was voor ons heel prettig! Ook was ze goed bereikbaar voor vragen en gaf goede adviezen. De ligging van het zwembad is heel prettig en biedt veel privacy. Ook de aanwezigheid van een wasmachine en buitendouche waren voor ons zeer prettig. Mochten we weer naar Curaçao gaan komen we hier graag terug.

We stayed at David’s place and enjoyed every moment. Check in was easy as David’s sisters met us at the condo and explained things and showed us around. Throughout our stay, whenever texted, David responded quickly. Great communication throughout our stay! The unit was lovely and as described. We really enjoyed the outdoor space very much. Kitchen was well pointed for our needs. Location was also convenient and we were able to walk to a couple restaurants for dinner. We would definitely rent from David again. He and his sisters made our first visit to Curacao very easy and memorable. We hope to return in the near future! Thank you for your hospitality!

Fantastic location in Jan Thiel, walkable to beach, grocery store and restaurants. The home is clean, very modern and in a peaceful and very secure neighborhood. Communication with the owner and caretaker was great and proactive. We have stayed for a little over a week, and during the week the pool was cleaned again during our stay. Stand out for us of the house is the porch, with a large table overlooking the pool and the ocean, where you can enjoy the ocean breeze and sit and converse during the evenings. The bedrooms are all cooled by A/C, while the living room does not have A/C. However, the shutters provide enough breeze in the living room to make it comfortable. We would definitely book again when we are going to Curacao.

We had a fantastic time. Blue Bay Resort is perfect for families. We have 3 young kids and everyone fit comfortably in the Villa. We were minutes from the pool and a short walk to the beach. We cooked most dinners at the house and found the air fryer and BBQ extremely helpful. One note is that the house does not have shampoo and conditioner. Otherwise, we had everything we needed. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. Would stay again!

La villa se situe dans le complexe de Blue Bay. On trouve une super plage et plusieurs resraurants a pieds de la Villa. Le complexe lui-même est idéalement situé a 20 minutes de Willemstad et de l’aéroport. C’est également un excellent point de départ pour n’importe où sur l’ile. Félix et Linda ont été super. Réponse rapide, très conviviale. Wil, le gestionnaire était également très sympathique et a rendu l’arrivée et le départ très faciles. La villa est très spacieuse pour 2 personnes, peut accomoder confortablement 4, et peut certainement accueillir une famille de 6. Belle terrasse, espaces confortables et plusieurs attentions ont beaucoup facilité le séjour. Parking gratuit. Profitez en pour louer une voiture et visiter cette formidable ile, très sécuritaire et accueillante.

Lugar excelente, ótimo apartamento, bem localizado e limpo. Kiara e Melissa são excelentes anfitriãs !

Our family stayed here for a week over the holidays. Pat was an excellent host, and their condo is wonderful. First floor walk to the small private beach. Great for the kids. Well appointed condo with everything we needed. We had an issue with a broken water heater over Christmas, and Pat and the local hosts were on it right away- even though it was a holiday. They got it fixed within a couple of days. We really appreciated their urgency and communication through that process. Thank you Pat!

We loved the condo! We stayed for almost 3 months and really enjoyed ourselves. The unit is very quite and the ground level makes going out to the beach so easy. It's close to wonderful restaurants and walkable to the city. The kitchen had most everything we needed and the appliance worked great. Petra was good at communication. We would definitely recommend!

Bram’s place was very nice and we love the ocean resort villa pools, beach, and facilities. The only issue we had was with an owner in the neighboring villa who filed a formal complaint because we were making noise out on the balcony (we have a baby who goes to bed at 7pm so very quiet after that time). I wouldn’t recommend any of the ocean resort villas if you’re planning on going with more than 2 adults or renting more than 1 of the villas at a time. With that said bram’s place is great so don’t want to detract people from going. Just know that you’re not allowed to congregate/chat on the balconies even if it’s early.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this home! It is located in a beautiful development, and has the best of indoor-outdoor living. We enjoyed many dinners on the deck, after our busy days exploring the island, or just hanging out at the beach and pool at Blue Bay. We were also fortunate to experience New Year’s Eve with fireworks on the beach! We made some great memories throughout our week. Blue Bay has a great relaxed vibe to it. Many families, golfers and people enjoying the beautiful beach. The house is perfectly situated, with a nice 5-7 minute walk along a winding path to the beach, and less than 2 minutes to the pool! The house is well stocked with kitchen utensils for cooking (although the knives could be a bit sharper!) and has very comfy beds. The only drawback was that we were there at the end of the rainy season and so we all experienced a lot of bites from the “no-see-em” bugs. But it wouldn’t stop us from going back again to this wonderful home!

So… Arend’s place is just literally perfect… we loved the water out back, snorkeling right there… the Aquarium is so close you can go home for snacks and breaks thx to their re-admission policy… restaurants and gelato you can walk to… hiking trails galore in the area… it’s just a great place and Arend is so nice and very helpful… we’ll be back…
