Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Jambiani

We had a few lovely days in Ann-Sofies apartment. Everything was as described and by far the best accommodation we had in Zanzibar. The host is super friendly and accessible. Will highly recommend this to everyone going to Paje!

We had a wonderful stay at Airborne. It is located just outside the busy hotel strip of Paje but still within walking distance from the popular hotels and bars. We didn’t met Jan in person but his host Simon and Sophie were very attentive and responsive to our wishes. There is even a small ‘pool / bathtub’ to freshen up right next to the porch that we weren’t aware of. I followed my kite classes at Pro Sele Kiteschool, and my teacher Sule is also highly recommended. It is good to be aware that the accomodation is part of a larger compound of cottages, and the compound can seem a bit deserted at night, probably especially during the low season. However we felt comfortable walking at night from the beach to the compound (5 minutes from the seaside to the actual BnB).

This place is a true gem. Hidden away, it's not the typical Zanzibar tourist spot. In fact, we were the only non-local people in the whole neighbourhood. It felt amazing to shop in the local village micro-shop, get fresh fish and calamari straight from the fish market, enjoy the private beach. If you feel like disconnecting, winding down and relaxing to the fullest - this is your place. And then, when you feel like exploring anything Zanzibar has to offer - you have all the options. Ali, the manager, is gonna be your guide, driver, and will arrange anything you please. We went to Stone Town, to Paje, to one of the spice farms, to the Jozani Forrest, to see the turtles, to go kayaking, spent a day on a boat trip (saw dolphins, went snorkelling, visited the famous sand bank, had lobster and fish on a private island). Ali even arrange for Omar, a private chef, to cook for us one evening. We hope to visit again one day. I highly recommend Nick's place! You will not be disappointed!

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Masai Mara! The villa looks exactly like the photos—if not better in real life. The location is unbeatable, right on a stunning beach with breathtaking sea views. One of the standout aspects is the dedicated staff, all included with the stay. They were incredibly attentive, always ready to help with a cheerful "yes" to any request. This level of hospitality truly made a difference. The host was also exceptionally responsive, accommodating every request quickly and efficiently. The property could use a bit of maintenance, but it’s nothing that detracted from the overall experience. The villa and its location are simply amazing, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommended!

Very lovely house just minutes from the beach. If you do not wish to be blown by the wind and be disturbed by the locals selling you something all the time this is the perfect place for you. The place has a beautiful garden with lemon trees and nice privacy. Even though the hosts live in the house next door you don’t get bothered at all. It actually makes your stay even easier since they are right there if you have any requests and Sharida was super nice and easy to communicate with. There are some animals around the plot and at times it might get noisy, but if you enjoy the sound of nature you won’t be bothered by it at all. Sharida provides you drinking water and will help if you need something. The house is spacious and perfect for two people. The wifi is decent enough to make video calls and work remotely. Some days the connection might be bad but it’s not because of the wifi but the overall connection on this part of the island - 90% of the time no problems at all. Thank you❤️

We spent 3 nights at Mount Zion Lodge and enjoyed every minute of it. The cute minimalistic but very clean lodge offered everything we needed, even extra sheets and towels were provided. The whole team was very friendly! The rent of a scooter with helmets was easy and quick - just plan a day ahead ;) Highly recommended. Price-Performance was top!

We stayed for almost two weeks in Karin’s villa and extended our stay twice on short notice—both times without any issues. Karin was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The property itself is spacious and well-protected by Masai guards day and night. We found the location to be perfect for Paje—close enough to explore the area on foot during the day, yet far enough from the nightlife to enjoy a peaceful rest at night. The villa is truly unforgettable. The open design of the living and kitchen area creates a stunning atmosphere, especially when all the doors and windows are open. The kitchen is well-equipped and perfect for preparing delicious meals with the amazing local ingredients and spices. The lush garden, filled with beautiful plants and trees, makes the outdoor space incredibly inviting. We loved spending entire days by the pool, just relaxing and enjoying the tranquility of this wonderful place. We highly recommend staying here and would love to return!

Super amazing Place. The resort it self is beautiful very green with a massive pool in the centre, Security is really good and felt super safe, it is 5/8 minute walk to the beach but you can negotiate down the little paths. The apartment, is in the last block so there is a few minute walk from the Main gate, but you can get taxi or motorbike taxi to drop you off at the door which is nice if you been out all day and evening, walking in to the apartment it is very bright and super clean, it has everything you could want even washing machine, (bring your own tablets or powder) The kitchen/Living room is nice to relax in and very quaint, there is a nice balcony with table and chairs to sit and just enjoy the peace in the evening, The shower and toilet is amazing, hot power shower, clean towels, The bed Is little small for myself, and little hard but that just my taste but I slept good. Overall a really beautiful new apartment, for the right money & great owners. Thanks so much
