Hi, hello, welcome! We invite you to take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The kitchen is stocked, the hot tub is ready to go, and the local area boasts many wineries, state parks for hiking, and beautiful scenery. This spacious cabin features a comfortable King bed, 55” TV above a gas fireplace, and recently had a top to bottom renovation! The spacious back deck features a large hot tub just steps from the back door, hooks for the provided terry cloth robes, and a Weber grill.

Burning Star Camper

Escape to the country in this peaceful camper near Burning Star hunting ground, located on a private road with minimal nearby homes. Enjoy access to a private lake, a smaller pond, woods, and wildlife visits, as well as indoor and outdoor kitchens. Agreement & Waiver required for safety reasons. Life jackets are required to be on the water. Dogs are welcome to stay OUTSIDE of the camper. * 7 min N of Burning Star State Fish & Wildlife area * 20 min S of Du Quoin State Fairgrounds.

Tiny House on the lake, also called cabin #4

The tiny house is on the edge of a 4 acre pond. The full bed is a mattress in a loft, stairs and a handrail to get up, it's a bit over 5 feet for headroom, please note, as a loft bed is not for everyone. Cabin is in the woods with bugs, poison ivy, and animals. I often see a water snake swimming in the pond below, along w/ fish and turtles. Catch and release. If you want to be in a kind of raw nature setting without landscaping, tom, your host, will guide you in this experience.
