Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Iwate

I stayed for a private stay in GW.I was excited about the single board table and fireplace just after entering the large cabin!It was very spacious, clean, and I was very happy with the number of rooms. Thank you for using the towels for free.Thank you for letting us use shampoo, conditioner, body soap, lotion, emulsion, and even details.　There were also word-of-mouth, so I hope you can always stock up on insect nets and tape. Thanks for your hospitality.It was a wonderful memory!

I am a traveler from Taiwan and stayed two nights.The house, both on the exterior and the interior, is like artwork, and our family of 7 is a comfortable place to stay.Because it is a shared space with the owner, the owner's room, dedicated refrigerator, and some cutlery are not available, but there is a refrigerator and tableware required by the guests, which is actually quite adequate for us, the above is the 1st floor part; there is a lounge area on the 2nd floor stairs, 2 large glass windows are good for sitting by the window to enjoy the countryside outside the window, and the space on the floor is also enough for a group of people to sit and play table games on the floor. It is interesting that we found a flat tire in the morning when we checked out to get to the airport, Hal helped us communicate with the rental car and the insurance company, in Northeast Japan really needs Japanese, many times English is actually not so convenient, the subsequent insurance company quickly came from Morioka to change the tire, we were able to catch up to the plane back to Taiwan. Thank you very much Hal for your help during the emergency time, and let our family go into the house to avoid the rain and wait for the rescue.

Check-in was very smooth and good. The breakfast was very delicious.I regretted that I wish I could have had dinner. Also, they cared about something during our stay, so it was a very pleasant place for couples.

This was such a wonderful find on Airbnb. Yoshinobu san helped explain all the details and arranged the details. It is a ryokan in the hills above the town of Rikuzentakata. From the moment you arrive the staff will make you feel right at home. The rooms are clean and big with beautiful views of the surrounding greenery. We had western style rooms. We stayed for two nights and had four amazing meals. Make sure to reserve the special breakfast and dinner sets at least once: Traditional Japanese dishes with very fresh ingredients. After dinner each night we loved going to the onsen and having a soak. It’s open until 10 pm. There’s also a relaxing lounge which is also home to two well behaved cats Momiji and Sakura! You can get there by Shinkansen to Ichinoseki station. You can continue by train/bus and get picked up but we rented a car from Times at Ichinoseki Station (recommended). There are many things to see : Hiraizumi, Michinoku Coastal Trail, Iwate Tsunami Memorial Museum.

A cute and cozy cabin in the woods and a great base for hiking in the Hachimantai area. Bear in mind the air conditioner is only in the living room. If you give it time though it will cool down the entire house.
