The lights on the right of the cover picture are the ones of our family house in Forno. The village is located at the end of the Biodola bay on Elba island. This home was built by boat by my grand-mother, a painter who had fallen in love with the place. We manage it for the family. It is located at the limit of the national park, and hence still only accessible by boat or by foot today. It has a private (stone) beach just below the house, and easy access to a small sand beach close to the house.

The house is bright, overlooking the sea, in a natural area surrounded by the scents of Mediterranean vegetation and the crystal clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The beach is a 4-minute walk downhill. Access to the two swimming pool areas (one overlooking the sea, with sea water and the other among the vegetation) is free. The Tower above the sea

La Torre is one of two ancient watchtowers in the beautiful town of Marciana Marina.
