John and Willemijn were very accommodating, respond very quickly and were helpful mentioning extra tips about the town. Place was super cute and cozy! Loved my stay!

This is a dream location. There are lots of windows to fill up with spectacular views of the ocean. The cottage is lovely and comfortable with an open space to unwind and soak up the beauty of the place. Lots of necessities in tge cupboards. All you need for an unforgettable stay.

We had an amazing stay at Quarry Cove! The home had absolutely everything we could possibly need — from a fully stocked kitchen to tons of indoor and outdoor games and activities for the kids. It was perfect for our family girls’ trip. The place was spotless, and the wraparound veranda offered a beautiful view that we never got tired of. The hot tub was clean and such a treat at the end of the day. Adrienne was incredibly friendly and helpful — even went out of their way to help us get the hockey playoff game on TV, which was such a nice touch! We felt completely at home and well taken care of. Highly recommend Quarry Cove for anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway!

Marina’s place was beautiful and located in a very peaceful area. The house is very spacious, comfortable, clean, very well equipped and the large yard is fenced which was great for the dog.The welcome basket of goodies was so thoughtful Thank you. . We enjoy looking out on the ocean and seeing lobster boats, seals ,dolphins and a whale. The view and the sunsets were amazing. Marina kindly allowed us to have guests for a night and this reunion with our friends meant so much to us. Be prepared the nearby town is small but we got everything we needed in the little grocery store. (Everyone in town was so friendly) It is not a tourist area which worked well for us because we were not expecting restaurants or attractions just a relaxing place to look at the ocean. Thank you again Marina for an amazing holiday.

We had an amazing one-month stay, the house's highlights are: Well-located residence for discovering Cape Breton Island and its surroundings. Very quiet place and away from neighbors, just across the marina. Beautiful residence, very clean, full of beautiful windows, comfortable and well air-conditioned Outdoor fire pit and pergolas were very much appreciated. All services and restaurants are less than a kilometer away Nature is very present all around the house (deer, foxes, squirrels, crabs, cormorants, herons, blue jay, kingfisher, etc.). Points to consider: No curtain in the master bedroom. No mosquito nets in any of the windows, so you'll have to choose between mosquitoes or air conditioning. Dining table for only 6 people seated (listed; maximum of 8 guests). Very poorly equipped kitchen Many bulbs are burned out indoors and outdoors and none A big thank you to our hosts for the stay!

We absolutely loved staying at Mark’s cabin! We came during the off season so the town itself was quiet, but Mark gave us many recommendations for visiting neighboring towns if we wanted. There is also a community trail below the property, which was easy to access from the cabin, for walks into town or into the woods. Overall it was a great getaway spot to unwind, enjoy the forest, and cook good homemade meals. Mark is also a great host! He was super responsive over text and offered to give us a tour of the house/property at check-in (which we were happy to accept). We would be more than happy to stay again, next time we find ourselves in the area!

Centrally located. Well appointed. Warm and cozy

Tanya was extremely friendly and welcoming. From the location, to the place itself was exactly what we were looking for. It was a very quiet neighborhood and the place felt like home it was so cozy. We spent about a week there which was perfect. It was close to friends and family and the famous pizza place “The Wheel”. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and host. Looking forward to another visit to Antigonish in the near future.

Nancy's place was nothing short of amazing. extremely quite and beautiful place to relax with views of the garden and ocean. Place was spotless, spacious and kitchen was well stocked to cook any meal needed. Very comfortable king size bed and lots of natural light shining in. The description of the place doesn't do it justice. Place is close to grocery stores and gas stations. 2 amazing pubs just down the road as well that I highly recommend. Nancy is an amazing host who will go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Place is better than described. 100% highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in the area and I will 100% be back.

Everything was exactly as described. Really clean and accessibility was really easy, 10mins from the town of Baddeck. The apartment was clean and each room had air conditioning which was a blessing to have.

Cozy, comfortable and peaceful cottage. Views are amazing! Well equipped kitchen and great location with full amenities within a short drive. Lots of outdoor space for our dog to run and beautiful beach walks! This cottage is a gem...Hosts were responsive and friendly. A peaceful beach house experience with stunning views and the sound of waves lapping the shoreline, we would definitely book again!

The idea was to chill out and recharge by the lake - and that's what happened. We had a terrific time and the staff were so responsive and helpful. Hot tub was excellent and looking out on a stunning view. Great little touches like a welcome gift for Archie the dog too which always helps!

What a wonderful place to stay! Sarah was very responsive to messages which was awesome as I did have some issues getting into the cabin but figured it out with her help. She checked up to see if we needed anything throughout or stay which was greatly appreciated. I have a toddler and the pack n play and high chair was a life saver since we didn’t need to bring those items with us. The in unit washer and dryer that we had access to was a wonderful addition since we all know how messy a toddler can be. There is enough room in the living room for my toddler to burn off some energy and the backyard is also a great feature. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling with a young family. If we go back to Cape Breton we will definitely be checking to see if this place is available again to stay at.

A tranquil, private and beautiful spot perfectly situated for driving the Cabot Trail or anything else on Cape Breton. Tastefully decorated with comfortable and clean beds. We feel very lucky to have spent a few nights here

The Islander Lodge was everything we could have wanted for our stay. The location is very rural (42 kms outside Antigonish in mostly cottage country), the "cottage" is really a log house ( a beauty), modern, immaculate and pristine. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck under the stars and listening to the hoots of owls nearby. We didn't use the kayaks but they are provided along with life jackets. The beautiful lodge is exactly as described,inside and out. It's magazine gorgeous and had everything we needed. We had loads of privacy and were reassured the host would be around if needed. My only two suggestions would be to bring your own drinking water as this area has very hard water. And don't forget your security code instructions (ha) so you dont inadvertently get locked out. ( my wife has a good memory thankfully ha). We HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend these exceptional accommodations in West Lochaber.

Absolutely stunning views from the cabin, the cabin is very clean and has everything you will need and has alot of personal charm :) I am definitely going to come back frequently!
