Cozy 2BR/2BA Haven near Botanical World Adventures

NatalieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Pictures cannot do the place justice! The back yard is gorgeous, right on the water, and has plenty of spots to sit and chill, rain or shine. The living area and kitchenette are spacious - we were able to cook everything we needed for 6 days, the couch is like a cloud, good wifi. Linens, towels, bathrooms, everything was pristine. Plenty of beach towels in the unit and great beach/water equipment for general use. Everywhere we wanted to go already required a car so it was totally worth being a little outside Hilo to get the scenery, with grocery store and shops about 20 min away. Denise and Matt responded to messages right away and there was someone on the property who helped us check in.

Rustic studio deluxe bed in tropical fruit garden

GregRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The setting of this unit is incredible. You feel like you are camping in the middle of a tropical forest or jungle. It's really amazing. The location is nice too, about equidistant from Volcano Natl. Park and Hilo. I would just say be aware that it is more basic then your typical unit. Highly recommend!

Rustic convenient cozy studio

谨硕Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
The listing was exactly as described—clear and accurate. The value for money was amazing, but what truly stood out to me was how incredibly kind and helpful the host was! Even before I arrived, they provided a ton of useful information. After check-in, they continued to follow up and shared so many great travel tips and helpful little life hacks that really enhanced my trip. There were times I reached out pretty late at night, and to my surprise, the responses were always quick—I honestly started wondering if the host ever sleeps, haha! Overall, this was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had thanks to such a thoughtful and attentive host. I’d definitely love to stay here again next time!

Palm Suite @ Hale-Hoola B & B

AshleyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a wonderful stay and are so thankful for the hospitality shown to us! The B&B is in the middle of forest trees, very tranquil, and we loved the sounds of all the birds and frogs and even the rooster and cow out back! Very comfortable beds, spacious room with extra amenities that weren’t listed like a microwave and mini fridge, and our suite had a lovely private lanai as well. The included breakfast was absolutely delicious and our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend!

I can’t say enough about how grand and impressive this house is and the amazing grounds it offers. Perfect for family dinners or a quiet getaway. Stunning ocean views and quick access to the highway to explore the upper Hamakaua Coast or a short drive south into Hilo town for more activities. Plenty of clean comfortable beds, towels and beach equipment to choose from. Several outdoor seating options with unique chairs, artistic tables and lots of space to enjoy the immense manicured gardens. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you to our host and his wife for addressing all our questions and needs promptly. Five plus stars from Wicked 8 Lava family!

Tropical Large Space - Screened Lanai!

NedalRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We’ve been on the Big Island for about a month, staying at different Airbnbs, and we truly wish we had spent the entire time here. This place is by far the most peaceful, beautiful, and grounding spot we’ve experienced. It’s simple in the best way—functional, uncluttered, and thoughtfully put together. The surrounding wildlife, lush trees, and serene privacy make it feel like a true escape, yet you’re still just minutes away from great coffee shops and town. It’s the perfect balance of nature and convenience. We’re already dreaming of coming back.

Beautiful Ohana on Sacred Land

ronRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautiful place away from the busy city life. Lots to see and do and everyone is very welcoming and helpful. Felt like a camping trip without the roughing it part. Kids couldn't handle the bugs at night other then that we had a wonderful time. Definitely recommend, would love to come back when it's just adults on vacation.

Wai 'Olena - "Healing Ponds"

EugenieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
“Healing Ponds”, indeed! Joseph’s home was exactly what our two families needed (4 adults, 2 teenagers) in wonderful Hilo. The front yard is an absolute oasis (Hi, sweet Kai! Hi, beautiful crested night herons!) and it was a dream to then be able to cross the street and enter into gorgeous parts of the Pacific. If you take a left out of the property, you can walk to delicious food and if you hang a right, instead, you have the ocean at your side and suddenly also in front and to the right of you, and all you see is sea for what looks like forever. What a slice of paradise! You were a wonderful host, Joseph, and we’ll be back to Wai ‘Olena! -Mahalo-
