Gîte de La Bascule

The cottage is an old house completely renovated in 2019 with a terrace that offers a beautiful view of the Morvan. It is located very close to Lake Crescent and Chastellux Castle, a few kilometers from Vézelay, Avallon, Bazoches. Our region lends itself to hiking, cycling or horseback riding in unspoiled nature and allows fishing or swimming enthusiasts to indulge in their favorite pastime. La Bascule is a hamlet of Chastellux, located between Avallon and Lormes.

The cottage is located in the heart of the village, close to restaurants, hiking trails, the basilica of Vézelay. It is on one level, large (55 m2) and bright. You will appreciate the comfortable beds, the height of the ceilings, the seating area, the equipped kitchen. It is perfect for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, families with one child (baby equipment on request) and four-legged companions. Small inner courtyard common with the owner.

The Baker's House

Located in the center of the village, the baker's house, furnished with tourist facilities *** *, is a place steeped in history. Restored with the Fondation du Patrimoine label and tastefully furnished, the former village bakery has become a beautiful house where you like to meet family or friends. Linens are optional as well as the end of stay cleaning. La Conciergerie Les Prés Damoiseau will accompany you during your stay.

A library corner to sip a delicious drink or to play the most beautiful game of chess ever seen. 2 immersive rooms complete this lair, but you still have to find the entrance. Beware of the potion workshop, some are toxic and others very powerful.
