Family-friendly holiday rentals in Island County

We had a great time using this Airbnb for our stay surrounding our wedding at Maplehurst farm! The wedding party loved the hot tub and being so close to the venue in the morning was priceless. The place was well stocked with plenty of linens and everything we needed, and the beds were nice and comfortable.

We had such a great stay! Dave was super friendly and attentive—even made sure our dog felt welcome, which we really appreciated. The view is absolutely beautiful, and the deck was perfect for relaxing and taking it all in. He made sure we had everything we needed.

John's home is a beautiful escape in the middle of idyllic scenery. This house overlooks the picturesque sound and John has done a wonderful job curating plenty of hangout spots in the backyard that invite you to step back into nature and relax. The home is cozy and clean and has possibly everything you need for a comfortable stay. Is is especially lovely for a group who loves to cook together and enjoy a grilled meal on the lovely deck. Each room has a charming theme and impeccable bathrooms. There is much to-do around the home; quant shops, yummy seafood restaurants, and unique breweries. We also enjoyed a hike to Ebbey's Landing, a quick 25 min drive from this home. Everything you want for a weekend escape! John responds very quickly to any questions and iis easy to see how he has achieved superhost status! Come visit John's home and enjoy the beauty of Whidbey Island for yourself!

Our family booked a last minute getaway to Karen and Chuck’s home and we had such a relaxing weekend away. Their home truly has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The photos really don’t do it justice! We all slept amazingly well in the comfy beds, listening to the sounds of the waves. We spent our time wandering shops of Coupeville, looking for seals on the deck, enjoying wonderful dinners and playing games together. When we saw there was an issue with the hot tub, our hosts responded lightening fast with a phone call to discuss. We are so thankful to Karen and Chuck for opening up their home to us and we hope to return soon!

This is a gorgeous location with a wonderful view of the water! Super cozy furniture and high quality finishes. Joyce was super responsive and allowed a very late check in. Very grateful she opened up her home for us and we could not be more grateful it was pet friendly. Highly recommend a weekend getaway here!

The house was amazing! Better than the pictures! The view was so beautiful. The home was clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The kitchen had everything you’d need to cook. Even a drawer with a full supply of plastic bags, aluminum foil etc. There were blankets to sit outside with. Toys if you have small children. We used the fire pit table on the deck every night. Darrell was an “above and beyond” host. He lives next door and stopped by when I had a couple questions. When the washing machine was on the fritz, he offered to let me use his. We highly recommend this rental and would absolutely stay here again!

The eco-cabin was amazing- a beautiful location; quiet and peaceful in the woods. The rustic cabin had so much character, and was just as described. It was charming, slow living close by beaches, Fort Flagler state park and Port Townsend. Waking up to birdsong gazing up at the trees and stars visible in the loft skylight in the early hours is healing medicine. Gotta love early mornings with coffee, breakfast and friends on the porch. Marrowstone Island Winery is a 6 minute drive away, and is a must if you like excellent wine. The Nordland General Store ( 9 minutes away) is lovely and has all the essentials.

We ran into some issues with checking in. The address provided was incorrect, we arrived at 5:45pm unable to locate the house We called and texted at 5:45pm but didn't receive a response until 8:42pm. It was a very stressful check in process. Thankfully, Gina was able to accommodate us and resolve the issues. This was truly one of the nicest properties we’ve ever stayed in! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—the host went above and beyond by leaving us chocolates and fresh flowers, which was such a thoughtful touch. The home itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything we could possibly need, which made cooking so easy and enjoyable. The bed was spacious and very comfortable—we slept so well. On top of all that, the scenery around the property was absolutely stunning and incredibly peaceful. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. I can’t recommend this stay highly enough. I would return in a heartbeat!

Super peaceful place to stay. Becky provides great instructions and thoughtful touches throughout the space. The bed was very comfy and the entire place is very clean. The front porch with the view of the water and beautiful lawn was great. Highly recommend!

absolutely gorgeous cabin. amazing views and private access to the water was incredible. my girlfriend and I spent our 1 year anniversary here and it couldn't have been better.

I hesitate to write this because we want to go back and stay longer! A great house with a well appointed kitchen. Susan was so quick to respond to questions. The view is incredible. A perfect place for our granddaughter and a good kitchen to cook in. Bathrooms were immaculate.

The location was private and secluded, the yard looked great, the view was beautiful and amazing! There was enough outdoor furniture for everyone. The kitchen had enough pots and pans and gadgets to make cooking meals possible. We have stayed in places where the kitchen was not equipped for that. There were a good number of blankets and pillows. Thomas responded to my questions pretty fast.

wow what a fantastic cabin! it's utterly beautiful, magical, gorgeous and just amazing. the additional extras such as toiletries, oil, herbs, coffee, tea etc made it SO much easier and meant I had things on hand easily for the children and us adults. plenty of towels etc, everywhere was very clean and lots of utensils for cooking etc. we loved getting the fire going (only did it once as it was pretty hot temps when we stayed!) and Kirstin was easily contactable and helped advice with ferry times etc. fantastic stay and would not hesitate to book again!

Staying at the Raven’s Landing studio was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were taken in by the stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and the many thoughtful touches that made the space feel like a true retreat. We loved starting our mornings with the delicious homemade granola, breakfast bars, milk, and honey—all generously provided. The shelves were filled with a beautiful selection of books, and the area surrounding the studio offered endless trails to explore, making it a dream for nature lovers. Darcy truly puts the “host” in “hostess.” Warm, welcoming, and full of fascinating stories, she made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. We feel incredibly fortunate to have spent four unforgettable weeks here and would return in a heartbeat. We can’t recommend Raven’s Landing enough!

Kivaans place was perfect for what we were looking for. A place to stay the night while exploring the Olympic peninsula. It was super clean. It is part of a Wyndham resort so it felt more like a hotel, which was great!

The condo was great in every way for our visit and for our purposes. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, the well-equipped kitchen, the large dining table (instead of the common, but ridiculous Air BnB bistro table that barely accommodates one person), and the good quality linens. Joyce was a great communicator until we checked-out, then I never heard from her again and was hoping to get a response to my messages. Joyce was able to coach me through the TV and DVD player's connections and was able to troubleshoot from afar. This was impressive! This property won't be available for long as it is being sold. That's too bad as we would love to rent it again in the future. Highly recommend Joyce as a property manager.

Beautiful condo, full of amenities, comfy bed, gorgeous views. Perfect for longer stays. We were only there for a couple of nights, making it hard to justify all the air BnB fees, but not the hosts fault. Would certainly rent again when we have longer time to visit my grandsons.

Lara is a fabulous host! Her house amenities are abundant and well thought out! She has provisions for everything you would want or need. She is also very accommodating and responsive! Great personality! Her location is just remote enough to be peaceful but close enough to all local attractions and businesses to be very convenient. Thank you, Lara, for providing such a wonderful place and experience!

Kivaan’s place was absolutely perfect for a 3-day get-away with friends from out of town. The layout is perfect, the view is magical and we would stay there again without hesitation.

We loved our stay at this location. The views are spectacular, including the water, the mountains, the eagles soaring by and one humpback whale! The kitchen includes everything you could possibly want or need--even knives that are sharp! The bedrooms are comfortable as are the common areas. The pool was a major high point for all of us, and the house comes with lots of other fun toys for indoors and out. We plan to return!

After a big challenge with a different short term rental company Lorie’s place was a last minute “save the family Christmas weekend” option and it turned out great. Lorie let us book same day and was very responsive. The place was beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks for having us.

We loved our stay here on the water. The location was great for hiking and kayaking. The house was clean and and well stocked, including extra amenities, like games and a fire pit with firewood. The house is very responsive to our questions and messages. We highly recommend
