Waterfront holiday rentals in Isla de Culebra

We spent 4 nights here in February and had a fantastic experience. The apartment was absolutely spotless, and the whole place is maintained with obvious care and pride. The location is quiet and peaceful, with a lovely waterfront view and a dock. Everything is freshly and colorfully painted. The staff are extremely friendly: they helped us find breakfast, they lent us beach towels, and they helped us find a golf cart to rent. There is a kitchen in the apartment, but there is also a shared outdoor kitchen, where we grilled dinner one evening, and met another guest who shared some of his food (pasteles - a Puerto Rican treat). To be clear, this is a hostel, not a hotel: you need to supply your own toiletries, you will be woken up by roosters in the morning, the shower water is not very hot, and you may encounter some mosquitos. But if you want a friendly, super-clean establishment with nice neighbors and good value, this is a great option. We loved this place and hope to come back.

Nice Condo in Culebra. The pool was awesome, and the condo was clean and comfortable. All of Culebra is home to wild chickens and roosters, so earplugs are recommended if you are light sleeper!

Excellent place

Spent an incredible month here in May with my partner. We really appreciated the premium features in all areas of the home (I.e. King bed, central air, tall ceilings, espresso machine, lux shampoos and conditioner, yoga mat and block, etc). The host is top tier and everyone we met around Costa Bonita was so nice and friendly, one neighbor even took us out on their boat to nearby islands for the day! Incredible pool and lounge chairs, and beach chairs and coolers included for days out on the beach. All the cooking essentials are included. WiFi internet was Starlink and had 300mb/s even on cloudy days. Perfect for work and long stays. Overall, after a full month here we have only positive memories from our stay. Highly recommend.

Diana's place is just amazing. It has everything we needed and more. The location is magical and more beautiful than the photos and description. It's so private and cozy. That veiw is amazing day and night. Perfectly safe. Wifi is so good. It has big screen with Netflix. Kitchen and bathroom have everything you need. The studio was super clean. Plenty of water and hot water. A/C is super especially in that hot and humid weather. Bed and pillows were comfortable. I made a lot of research before booking this unit and can tell that the price is very attractive and best value for money. Renting a car is highly recommended in the island in general and to stay here in particular unless you can manage to count 100% on taxies which is unreliable and expensive. Every part in this place is spacious. I will definitely return back to this place. Thank you Diana for your responsiveness and for this amazing place :)

This was perfect for our trip! We enjoyed the dock area and amazing view of the bay! Staying at this central location made it easy for us to do lots of quick trips to the town’s bakery and restaurants as well as longer adventures to various beaches across the island. Thank you Azalea!

Los Cocos was the perfect getaway for a week. The home sits right on the ocean, and the first thing you notice upon arrival is the soothing sound of the waves. Rene welcomed us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the property. The house was spotless and just the right size for the two of us. Inside, the home features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area. The furniture is comfortable and well-maintained, and the kitchen had everything we needed, though we only cooked breakfast. The house has one bathroom, which was in great working order. The two bedrooms are located off the main living space. While there’s no air conditioning, the ocean breeze keeps things comfortable most of the time. One night was particularly still, making it a bit warm for sleeping, but there are plenty of fans to help keep cool. The outdoor space is where we spent most of our time. There’s ample seating, along with two hammocks. The beach was an incredible bonus—we spent hours relaxing by the water

Las Piedras was a gorgeous place for our family to call home while experiencing Vieques. It is surrounded by water and breathtaking views from any vantage point in the house. The pool (and the daily visit from the iguana!) were a perfect way for us to relax after beach days. The home was clean and clutter-free and allowed us and our 4 teenage kids to spread out. My favorite part was falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves and waking up to the island’s many roosters. The property manager, Betty, was very friendly and responsive. On our last night we had heavy rains which caused water to come in at the edge of the windows in several of the bedrooms. While that didn’t negatively impact our stay, there may be some minor maintenance things that need a second look. We absolutely loved our stay there and would definitely recommend this beautiful home to anyone. Location cannot be beat!

Berto was very friendly and helpful. He showed us around and we could see that he was very proud of working there. We asked for restaurant recommendations and also for a chef to come cook for us traditional Puerto Rican food. Berto recommended Nanette and she was very pleasant and even taught us how to cook the dishes she made for our family. Everything was delicious and it made us feel like family. One of the days an iguana came into the swimming pool while the kids were swimming and ended up pooping inside the pool. We called Berto right away and he came and removed all of the “debris” and our family was able to continue enjoying the pool again. The view from the patio and infinity pool was espectacular. We could see Culebra Island and St. Thomas from outside. We recommend staying here.

Paradise Cove Suites is exactly as described - sitting right in front of Playa Bastimento in a quiet residential area. A great steep road across the street to start off morning runs with epic 360 views. The beach out front has a great pool created by a reef barrier. Locals will come in and set up especially on the weekend but were always quiet and left by sundown. A great location. The house is built solid & we never heard the guests downstairs (we checked with them to make sure they couldn't hear us ~ and they couldn't). The onsite laundry was a huge plus. From the moment I arrived, this place felt like a dream! The ocean views were literally breathtaking from every area of the house! It was Immaculately clean, very private, and peaceful! I felt like a celebrity in my own private retreat! The host was very helpful and responsive! If you're looking for a getaway that exceeds expectations in every way, this is it!

This house was absolutely amazing! I think it’s the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It was perfect for our family of six. It was our first time visiting Vieques. We brought all four of our kids (ages 13,15,19, and 22). This home provided lots of comfortable space and beds for everyone. The house was very clean and well stocked. We really appreciated all the towels and the coolers. We packed our lunches every day for the beach. We loved all the outdoor spaces. Our kids loved swimming in the pool. My husband and I enjoyed coffee on the patios and even a couple naps in the hammocks. The property is beautiful and very peaceful. We helped ourselves to some delicious mangoes from the huge mango tree in the yard. It’s obvious that Jose and Melyssa put a lot of care into their property. They are wonderful hosts. We arrived a day late due to a flight delay. They were very understanding and responded quickly to our questions. We will definitely stay here again.

This is a great very private on the top of a big hill place. Very safe, no foot traffic, very comfortable. The view from the balcony is unbelievable. It’s a true simple taste of the island life. Don’t go to culebra thinking you will get luxury. I am English speaking and the hospitality we got at local restaurants and attractions was unbelievable to the point they remembered my name. Go to Dinghy Dock for a great meal. I’m not sure that a gold cart would make it up the hill so make sure you have a car or Jeep or you can always use local taxi service. Thank you for a great place !

We loved Andrea's apartment, everything was very clean, the beds are a paradise of comfort. You have everything you need to spend days without problems. The apartment is remodeled and super nice. They left the air conditioning on, which was nice when we arrived. The apartment is identical to the photos. However, they could leave 4 beach towels and 4 towels to dry off at least for a family of 3 or 4 people. The apartment had a little sand, I understand that the person who cleans can do a better job in that regard because it is not pleasant to feel the sand on your feet after checking in. But everything else is great. I would definitely stay again.

I had a wonderful stay — the location couldn't be better, situated just steps away from the beach. The room itself was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully arranged, offering plenty of room to relax. One of the highlights was the private balcony with a stunning view of the ocean — the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or unwind at sunset. The sound of the waves and the fresh sea breeze made the entire experience feel truly refreshing and memorable.

We had a wonderful time at Gustavo’s. Every morning we enjoyed the sunrise over the water while sipping coffee. The home was very clean and comfortable. The home is located next to all the major restaurants, Milka’s (local grocer), and a 10 minute walk to the shops by the ferry. Everything is about a 5-10 minute walk. The beaches were only a 5-10 minute drive and every one was stunning. We definitely would stay with Gustavo again.

Beautiful sunsets, extremely kind hosts, and a peaceful secluded part of the island. Heidy was so helpful giving insightful tips and ideas throughout our stay whenever we needed. Condo complex feels a little deserted, but the pool is well maintained and relaxing. TV does not have internet connection or Screen mirroring capabilities- if you want to watch something besides Dish, you’d need an HDMI - your computer cord to directly connect, but we couldn’t find one on the island. *Culebra Tips* Get a golf cart or car rental ASAP. They were unavailable for us on the first day, and taxis price gouge like crazy - $40 for the 11 min drive from the ferry. This house is in a beautiful location, but it isn’t walkable to beaches or any groceries/convenience stores.

Viviana is a great host and excellent communicator. We initially had issue open the door due to our misunderstanding of the instruction. Viviana reached out to us and helped us promptly. Very happy with this place. Quiet, private, and family friendly.
