Holiday rentals with a patio in Isla Canela

We had such an amazing stay! Tavira is truly one of the last of it’s kind - we came from London and at first we experience a bit of “reverse culture shock” because the town is so quaint, quiet, and local feeling - but after a few days of adjusting we absolutely fell in love. This is an excellent location, there’s plenty of nice restaurants and one of the best coffee shops right next door run by some lovely Canadians. We stayed for 2 weeks, immersed ourselves in Tavira, ate great food, and drank pretty well, too. Don’t hesitate on booking, you won’t regret it!

Tivemos uma estadia fantástica em família (3 adultos e 3 crianças) nesta casa maravilhosa! Desde o início, a comunicação com o hospedeiro foi excelente — sempre disponível, com indicações úteis e relevantes que facilitaram muito a nossa chegada e estadia. A casa estava perfeitamente preparada para receber famílias com crianças: encontramos cadeiras de alimentação, banheira para bebé, toalhas de praia, guarda-sol, secador de cabelo e muitos outros detalhes que fizeram toda a diferença. Sentimo-nos verdadeiramente em casa. A localização é ótima, numa zona muito tranquila, ideal para descansar. A piscina com água aquecida foi um dos pontos altos — perfeita para relaxar com os mais pequenos. A praia próxima também é muito calma, ideal para as crianças correrem e brincarem à vontade. Em termos de conveniência, há supermercados a menos de 5 minutos de carro, e mesmo ao lado da casa há uma farmácia e um café com pão delicioso (1 minuto de carro). Sem dúvida, uma experiência a repetir.

Die Wohnung ist groß, komfortabel und lichtdurchflutet, es ist für alles gesorgt, sogar Sonnenschirme sind vorhandenund auch Kaffee steht bereit, Highlights sind die schöne Terrasse, von der man sogar auf den Hafen sehen kann und der eigene Parkplatz, für An und Abreisende eine große Erleichterung. Allerdings: wer lärmempfindlich ist sollte aufpassen, wir hatten das Pech das in unserer letzten Nacht ein Club in der Nähe aufdrehte, man hörte den Bass bis 4 Uhr morgens, zum Glück hatte ich Ohrstöpsel dabei.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay in September. The apartment is beautiful, very spacious & clean. Well appointed - there were even tuppaware boxes for us to use! The beds are comfy & good shower pressure. Lovely terrace. Quiet area but only 1 street behind the front & 5 minutes walk to the boat for the beach. Maria was a brilliant host - very friendly & communicative & flexible with our check in needs. We would definitely come back to stay another time & recommend 100% to others. Thanks again x

3 nachten verbleven in het appartement. Heel duidelijke info gekregen hoe we binnen konden geraken. Anabela was zeer vriendelijk en kregen direct antwoord van haar. Appartement was heel proper, alles was aanwezig. Alles was ook op wandelafstand. Zeker een aanrader om hier te verblijven, bedankt Anabela 😊!

Heerlijke week gehad in Islantilla. Carlos is gastvrij en goed bereikbaar. We arriveerden een dag later doordat de vlucht geannuleerd was en uit zichzelf bood Carlos aan de kosten voor de niet genoten nacht te delen. Vervolgens hadden we vlak voor oudejaarsavond een probleem met de elektriciteit, stoppen voor het keukenblok lagen eruit. Nog dezelfde dag heeft Carlos een elektriciën geregeld, die het probleem heeft verholpen. Al met al en fijn verblijf, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

È stato tutto perfetto quindi sarebbe inutile aggiungere commenti. Abbiamo trovato una casa perfetta con un cesto di arance buonissime ad attenderci. Bottigliette d'acqua in frigo e shampoo e bagnoschiuma in doccia. La terrazza è la ciliegina sulla torta. La posizione per noi è stata perfetta perchè in pochi minuti abbiamo raggiunto tutti i campi da golf dove abbiamo giocato. Grazie Rodrigo!

Steffanie was great at check-in, she met us there early and talked us through the place. Lovely apartment with a great pool that our girls loved even in the cooler weather. The apartment is close to a nice street full of restaurants and bars. We took a taxi to Tavira a few times as we loved exploring there.

Antonio was the perfect host right from the point of booking. He was communicative and helpful, providing lots of information about the house, the local area and check in process. When we arrived he was already at the property and gave us a quick tour-it was immediately apparently that the house was absolutely pristine and all the little details had been thought about so carefully-I cannot fault it. We were absolutely delighted and had an incredible week away. Antonio was on hand to answer any questions and we couldn’t have asked for more, I highly recommended this host and this properly.

Fantastic town house right in the heart of this town. Very clean spacious with a fabulous bedroom and hot tub in the roof terrace. Great host!

We adored Michelle’s property, it was the perfect spot for us to relax and unwind, while having endless fun in the pool and watching the stars on the rooftop! The property is in a beautiful secluded area perfect for a quiet and relaxing holiday with privacy, it was very clean, great amenities and the most stunning scenic surroundings to the property with a wonderful pool and dinning area where we have lovely dinners and got ready for evenings out together. Michelle was the most responsive and generous host we have come across who offered suggestions, instructions and help throughout the trip, replying with lightening speed. There is no wonder they’re a super post, if I could rate it 6 stars I would! Amazing.

Una casa preciosa, decorada con mucho estilo, cómoda, y súper limpia en un entorno único, con jardines espectaculares y mucha calma. Tanto su anfitriona como la persona de confianza, un 10! Sin duda volveremos!

Pelo segundo ano consecutivo foi uma excelente estadia. A casa e extremamente agradável e serve confortavelmente para 4 pessoas. O terraço é excelente Os quartos sao confortaveis e arejados. A cozinha esta equipada com tudo o que é necessario. A urbanização dispõe de um lugar de estacionamento e uma piscina muito boa disponivel em julho e agosto, sendo que tivemos a sorte de usufruir 3 dias em junho da mesma. Corresponde exatamente às fotos. Nas redondezas ha um mercadona, praias e um centro comercial com diversas opções para comer.

We absolutely loved this apartment! Charming, stylish, clean, well equipped and perfect hosting. The outdoor spaces are amazing. We particularly enjoyed the ground level courtyard which is really a second living room. The location is amazing, 5-7 minutes from everything. We went to the islands several times which were such a surprise, so easy to get to, quaint and uncrowded with white sand beaches and clear water. Highly recommend.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach wunderbar – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Die Kommunikation mit Peter war hervorragend, er war jederzeit erreichbar, hat uns bei allen Fragen geholfen und tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet – alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Besonders gefallen hat uns der große Garten, der viel Privatsphäre bietet, sowie der Pool, der perfekt zur Abkühlung einlädt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder! A casa da Maria Teresa correspondeu às expectativas: super bonita e bem conservada, numa zona muito sossegada, perto de tudo a pé e com tudo o que precisávamos. O terraço é excelente para umas refeições no exterior. Ficamos todas muito satisfeitas com a nossa estadia e com pena de não ficar mais dias :)

Warm and sincere greeting and orientation. Miguel made himself available. Apartment is well kept and large and host left fruit, juice, crackers, pâtés, beer, and wine for our enjoyment. Convenient location that is close to the highway.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dem schönen, gut ausgestatteten und blitzsauberen Appartement. Filipe war jederzeit unkompliziert erreichbar und hat uns auch proaktiv kontaktiert. Das Appartement liegt sehr nahe an netten Restaurants und zum Bootsanleger an den Strand. Es waren immer freie Parkplätze direkt vor der Appartmentanlage. Die beiden zum Appartment gehörigen Tiefgaragenstellplätze haben wir nicht benötigt. Vielen Dank, Filipe, für die Möglichkeit den Check-out ein wenig nach hinten zu legen und für die vielen guten Restauranttipps. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder und freue mich schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt in Cabanas de Tavira und in Ihrem schönen Apartment.

Elvira war jederzeit erreichbar und stets sehr hilfsbereit. Die große Dachterasse mit Blick über Tavira ist ein Traum! An heißen Sommertagen kühlt die Wohnung leider auch nachts kaum ab, damit sollte man im Dachgeschoss natürlich auch rechnen. Die Gegend ist schön ruhig, trotzdem ist man zu Fuß in kürzester Zeit im Zentrum, beim Supermarkt oder bei der Fähre Richtung Strand. Wir hatten eine rundum tolle Zeit :)

Diese Unterkunft ist in einem wunderschönen kleinen Ort. In der Nähe gibt es einen wunderschönen traumhaften Strand den man mit dem Auto in weniger als 5 Minuten erreichen kann. Wir haben uns hier wohlgefühlt und hatten eine tollen Urlaub in Portugal.

Perfekter Aufenthalt, es hätte nicht besser sein können! Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt über den gesamten November und können dieses Apartment nur wärmstens empfehlen! Das Appartement war pikobello sauber, hervorragend ausgestattet und verfügte über kostenloses, sehr schnelles Internet – ideal für unsere Workation. Die Möbel waren modern und gepflegt, und die große Terrasse war ein absolutes Highlight. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die gesamte Appartementanlage ist sehr gepflegt und ruhig, und der Strand ist in nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar – einfach perfekt. Der Gastgeber Rui war unglaublich freundlich, stets erreichbar und hat auf jede Frage sofort geantwortet. Es war definitiv eine unserer besten Airbnb-Erfahrungen, und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Aufenthalt!

Nous avons passé un excellent moment, tout le nécessaire y est, on se sent comme à la maison. résidence très calme et agréable merci à Cristiano pour flexibilité pour notre arrivée au logement. on recommande à 100%

Ein traumhafter Ort! Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet, es ist alles da was man braucht! Garten und Pool sind einfach toll!

We felt so lucky to have found this wonderful and spacious apartment with its amazing terrace (perfect for sunbathing!). The apartment itself is extremely well appointed and Mary and Roger have provided absolutely everything you could need, with plenty of cutlery, crockery and glasses (and dishwasher tabs). There were also beach towels if you needed them, a great little electric barbecue grill, loads of seating on the terrace … it seemed that anything you might want was already there, and there was loads of space for the two of us. Olhao itself is a beautiful town and perfect for wandering around. We had a fabulous week there and would definitely recommend both this apartment and town to anyone who’s looking for a not too touristy part of the Algarve to visit.
