The newly built building is cool in the summer and warm and comfortable in the winter.The second floor is a private space.There is free parking on the premises, so it is recommended for traveling by car. Opened on October 1, 2016!(The second store, Makotoya Ohjin, opened in May 2024.) It is a traditional Japanese house in a very convenient location. It is about 3 minutes on foot from Takayama Station and about 5 minutes on foot from the old town. When you enter the house from the front entrance, you may feel as if you are in an old Japanese house. You can also enjoy the "horigotatsu" and "open-air bath". I hope you can make yourselves at home here.
