Holiday houses in Irschen

Leaving a comment about the house is really easy, because it's perfect and exactly as shown in the photos. It is tastefully furnished and does not lack anything. The comment that my wife, son and I want to make most is about Erika's welcome and kindness. She welcomed us like a mother waiting at the door for her children. She made us find sweets and fruit on the table and chocolates on the pillows. She really made us feel at home and we had a wonderful time telling each other about our lives sitting in the garden on her patio drinking an aperitif. Available for everything and at all hours. What can I say… we left a piece of our heart in that house, hoping to return soon. Thanks Erika

Michael is a top host. The team provides great on-site support and is always available - you feel very welcome and in good hands. The house is totally beautiful and warm. I especially recommend it to families, as everything is also child-friendly (a cot is available, as well as an extra gate in front of the stairs). Everything you need for a short stay is available in the kitchen. Overall, it is quiet, as it is in the countryside. We felt very comfortable and hope to come back.

nicely refurbished appartment in a cozy authentic alpine house. Dishwasher and washing machine and a well equipped kitchen. The location near Oberdrauberg was awesome with good possibilities for klettersteige, hiking etc. in driving range. We will definantly come back to the area, and when we do, try to make new arrangements with Albert and Angelika for another stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Christina’s place. It was an easy walk or ride on the hotel shuttle from the parking area and we were given very clear instructions for check in. Christina was a very responsive host. The apartment was so cute and comfortable and the view was even better than in photos. We loved our visit to the Hallstatt area and would not hesitate to stay at Christina’s place if we returned. Thank you!!

After a short meeting with Helmut, we drove up a large part of the mountain to the Enzianhütte. From there, we made an ascent together for about 30 minutes up to the Mauthner Alm. This was quite a challenge for us lowlanders (Lower Saxony), quite steep and close to the abyss, but with fantastic views. Kindly, Helmut even carried some of our luggage up. The location of the hut is really beautiful, a pure idyll with magnificent views in the midst of grazing cows, which often pay a visit. The hut is very spacious and comfortably furnished, you will find everything you need for a few days on the alpine pasture. The fact that we forgot our toothpaste in the car was not bad at all, as a call to the operators of the Enzianhütte was enough and the very friendly operators remedied the situation. You can also eat and drink very deliciously there. Overall it was an unforgettable experience that we would love to repeat.

Marit's place had everything we were looking for in a last-minute long weekend break. It was peaceful, had plenty of walking trails and hikes from the front door, great cafe's only minutes drive away, and beautiful surrounded by the mountains. The apartment itself was so thoughtfully designed; it contained all we needed to cook dinner each night, and big enough to deal with our wet hiking gear! It was very relaxing to enjoy the view from the balcony or from inside the apartment on the cooler nights. Despite there being two other apartments nearby, it's very private and quiet. Marit was a great host; we were delighted to find this spot and would happily return!

The best host of Airbnb that we ever met: warm and friendly. The house is like a castle, it's very peculiar and set in a quiet place; you are literally surrounded by nature and we were lucky enough to see the stars were well at night It doesn't take much by car if you want to visit the Kaerten lakes from there, and cities like Spittal and Lienz. Thank you very much Hetty!

This is an exceptional place. The home is sparkling clean, well organized, and thoughtfully appointed to make the most of a cozy space. Rooms are bright, fresh, and the beds are comfortable. Nice quality cooking utensils and appliances, along with great views from the kitchen window, make mealtime a pleasure. But when we didn’t want to cook, Sabrina gave great restaurant recommendations. Located just outside of town, the setting is peaceful, with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the magnificent views. A short drive takes you to parking areas for numerous world-class hikes in the national park. The house and its setting are wonderful. This alone would make the place easy to recommend, but the host is exceptional too. Sabrina is caring and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and hated to leave.
