mark and Linda's place was very cosy and private was what we were looking for. exactly what we needed for our anniversary. was relaxing with the spa and spacious with the kitchen being able to cook meals. mark and Linda were very helpful with all the questions I had. thanks for a great stay

We had an amazing 2-night stay at this beautiful cabin! The place was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and full of charm. Nestled in a peaceful location, it was the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect. We especially loved the fireplace, the view from the bedroom, and the friendly cows and horses. perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. My husband and I selected The Elm House for our Honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. The venue looks exactly like the pictures, yet still does not do it justice. The location and environment was so calming and relaxing, perfect for a little private getaway. Laura was absolutely wonderful. Great communication, very friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend this venue!

Well this is a great little find for a couple or two people…. Suuuccch a cute cabin Krill has created…. , the minute you walk through the white picket fence and onto the cute front patio you see passionfruit vines and rosemary…. You walk inside and the compact yet cosy interior is a soothing sight. Then wander out to the back deck to see the beautiful shoreline and as a bonus, native beehive! We also made use of the firepit and kayaks. The shops and cafes are a short walk yet you are surrounded by birds, peace and quiet away from any hustle. A perfect getaway spot for anyone interested in recharging and removing yourself from all the clamour. We had a great Easter.!! Thankyou!

The Twilight Cottage and absolutely dream to stay at! My husband, dog and myself thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous space and being close to town was perfect 😊 Definitely one of the best stays we have ever been on!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was beautiful with a stunning view of the dam. It was just the right amount of off-grid for our boys to run around and enjoy the outdoors. They mountain biked at Mt Joyce every day (just across the dam). We also loved that we weren't too far from a great pub lunch (recommend the Roadvale Hotel).

It was so easy to book in, she was very helpful and friendly! The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and just the right distance from town, shops attractions! Just being at the cottage you could just unwind and spend time outdoors! You could feel free to enjoy the outdoors! Definitely recommend a stay there!

Mel was great, welcoming, available & full of energy. We appreciated the fresh eggs, firewood, all the animals on the property. We had some wet weather, so very much enjoyed being able to make use of the pooltable, bar area, sports room. Our cottage accommodation on the property was more than suitable, with everything required in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom & living area. Thanks Mel.

Just WOW! Perfect spot in every way for a getaway. Loved everything about this cabin,such attention to detail is rare but Jas has nailed it. Comfortable bed, sofa,well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Outdoors is so picturesque you feel like you’re staying at a five star resort. I think we’ll be back Jas! Thank you so much,it’s divine.

The oyster hut is first class. One of the best locations with so much to offer. The quintessential Aussie holiday that Straddie can offer with an amazing place to cap it all off. There are many more surprises and exciting things that this place provides. Amazing bath with a fire place at each end of the bath, a well appointed house and great hosts. Loved it, booking again already. It will be a staple part of our return to the island as I think it is one of the best on the island and is an absolute credit to the owners. It had everything from master craftsmanship, amazing surrounds, adventure and many touches on the property that had me saying WOW all day long.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was super private with absolutely stunning views over the lake. We actually got engaged at our pod so it will always be special to us. We can’t wait to try the Kangaroo Island pods next!

This little shack completely immerses you in all the Straddie feels. Nestled in the surrounding bushland, it almost feels like you're camping—except you’ve got the perks of a resort-style pool, warm shower, and air-conditioning. The host has thoughtfully considered your needs, with all the essentials provided to make your stay super comfortable. The kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped and lets you whip up some seriously good meals. I’d recommend making the most of the incredible local seafood, and don’t miss out on a lamb roast from the Dunwich butcher—especially since the host thoughtfully planted rosemary right at the front door! It’s honestly amazing what you can cook on the Webber BBQ. The local agency managing the shack was great to deal with, providing clear instructions for easy after-hours access. They were also quick to help when we had a small hiccup with the locks—on a public holiday, no less. This little shack really packs a punch, especially for its budget price point.

Stayed in May's cottage for 2 nights, cottage has been renovated beautifully, the best quality appliances, etc, spacious and private... outdoor bath was private and huge..... location was very peaceful (except perhaps a little road noise) beautiful rainforest walk and outlook across Moreton Bay.... can highly recommend...

Was a beautiful place with stunning views of the damn and such a peaceful trip away! As it is a sustainable tiny home it can get quiet hot in summer but the outdoor bath was the perfect place to relax and cool down 😊
