Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Inverness

Perfect location for our plans with local family and friends. We felt totally comfortable like it was our home. No hotel vibes at all. So relaxing and the pool was a fantastic retreat! Clean, spacious, and an amazing host. We will be back!

What a great place. As an airbnb host myself, I’m picky about my stays. Laurie communicated well from the moment we inquired about pets and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Even made sure we had access to bikes and kayaks. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well appointed and the screened back porch was a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or an afternoon cocktail. At times it was so quiet we could hear the bees buzzing outside the screen. We even enjoyed daily visits from a hummingbird. Huge laundry/storage space gave extra room to store coolers and other bulky travel items. Plenty of towels too. An all around great location. It’s our second time staying in Floral City and there are two places we always stop- Sleepy Hollow (only 1/2 mile away with great shrimp from the food truck- beer, wine and seltzers only) and the Side Bar (downtown Inverness- short drive, full bar, great staff and delicious pizza.) We’ll be back!

Loved our stay at Angie’s acre! Very peaceful and felt so homey. Our dogs loved the fenced in backyard to run around in. It was a wonderful stay. 😊

We loved sitting on the screened porch morning and night. Very peaceful. Very comfortable for family. Good communication during stay. Heat and AC worked well. Very convenient location to Inverness. We arrived at night it was a little tricky to find but that's what made it so private. Maybe a blue reflector on the mailbox would help! Rowboat, kayacks, canoes, horseshoes, fishing gear, plenty of games for adults and children. A great time.

The house is beautiful and spacious. The decoration and distribution of the areas is very beautiful and you can tell that it is well thought out. It has all the utensils you may need in the kitchen. The check-in was easy and everything was very clean. The pool is large and the view of the lake gives it a plus. The lakeside area is excellent for relaxing. The grill was in excellent condition. If you are looking for tranquillity, connecting with nature and spending a good weekend with your family is the perfect place. Pinay was a very good hostess, we would definitely come back.

I absolutely loved Jennifer’s place! The horses out back were so awesome and my kids were so excited. How unique that was! The location was great, very quiet area but just a short drive to whatever you need. We were in town to see my father who has recently been placed on hospice, so a not so great reason. But the home and awesome neiggghhhhbors 🐎 made it more comfortable for us. I would highly recommend staying here!

Patty was great! The house had everything you could need and more, everything in the kitchen was well labeled and the house was extremely large and functional. We were there for a funeral service, as it was not a vacation so our experience was a little bit more limited. Patty was wonderful and extremely helpful, pleasant and responsive to any questions/issues that we encountered.

Rachael and Mike are one of if not the BEST hosts we have ever had, We have been airbnbing for a long time , at least 15 or more . They are very responsive to everything we need . Beautiful home and very clean. They are very friendly and cordial. The pool is beautiful and kept very clean. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay, this is it, you will not find a better place or better people. God Beauty is the perfect name for Mike and Rachael and their Home. Family of 5 (3 kids) and two dogs from VA. Felt the house was perfect with a great yard and cool trees. The dogs didn’t need leashed and could be at ease with pool access being safe. (My dogs can’t swim) The sheets were real cotton (this means a lot) and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of bedding and pillow options. Kitchen had the basics to cook meals which was easier. The house had everything we needed to have a great vacation other than food to eat. Close to everything we wanted to do. A great trail that was not a commercialized walk where we saw armadillos, manatees, an alligator, bald eagles, snakes and we could hear two owls talking. It was perfection. The swing out back was a nice peaceful touch and I really appreciated the grill. We saw crystal clear water at three sisters while kayaking as well as dolphins at sunset. We took a boat cruise to an island and found more shells I’ve seen in my life. I’d come back again and again. No hoopla where tons of people were.

Jesus was great and replied to all my questions even before I checked in. The place was amazing and super comfortable.

Extremely beautiful scenery in and around the springs, friendly all around and sunbathing my the pool. We all had a great time.

Easy access to the River. Boat dock had plenty of room for my 26ft boat. Enjoyed having the pool and loved the layout of the house. This is a good home for a family or even if you have a few more guest with the split floor plan. The kitchen has plenty of counter space for everything,Enjoyed the stay. Thanks!

We had the most peaceful, amazing stay Henry’s Hideaway ! The house is immaculate, with so many spots for the family to chill out . My 14 year old Grandson took over the game house as his own but i did beat his butt at pool ! The pool is huge and very clean let’s not forget it’s benefit of being salt water ! We cooked out most nights and really enjoyed the lanai . Our Golden Holly was in heaven with the huge backyard 😍. We will definitely be back and thank you Mary for sharing your slice of heaven .

Great little house with everything you need. I was very impressed with the warm welcoming touches David added to the home before we arrived. He was very kind, friendly and very responsive. He also introduced us to Wild fire, his beautiful horse.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my friend and 2 dogs. BEAUTIFUL PLACE! Close proximity to the springs, restaurants, and activities! Would 100% stay here again.

A perfect little piece of paradise! Super clean, spacious, and very comfortable! The kids loved fishing and seeing the deer across the canal. Would 100% book this great little place again!

We are so happy we chose Dardens cabin as our spot to reset and relax. We work a lot and rarely get a chance to take time for ourselves and we were definitely due. My favorite part was being able to sit in the screened in patio, read a book and enjoy the beautiful nature outside while my boyfriend cooked on the grill. This place did exactly what we needed it to do and would definitely come back again.

Our 2nd one month stay at this lovely cottage. It's an excellent location on a channel to access Lake Henderson. Perfect for bass fishing. The home is clean and comfortable. It's spacious and was perfect for 2 couples. The kitchen is organized and well stocked . We enjoyed the patio, particularly the newly installed gazebo which provided shade during sunny days. The view from the patio is relaxing and perfect for sunrises. Home is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It's an easy 3 mile ride down 44 sidewalk to get to the Withlachoochee Bike Trail. Spent many hours fishing. Every Monday we'd make the the 45 minute drive to the Webster Flea Market (excellent stop for produce) then stop for lunch at Big Bass Grill on Lake Panasoffkee. Easy drive to Winn Dixie. Would absoulutely stay again,

Tam’s cabin was a perfect size for my husband and I for a night. It was a short walk from the community pool and we had our own parking spot. The place was very well decorated and furniture was comfortable. This RV resort is not close to many restaurants, etc. but if you’re looking to just have a place to sleep and shower it’s got that with a full kitchen.

Host was helpful and responsive, home close to a lot of restaurants and grocery stores. House was clean and did what we needed it to do for my family, no complaints and would definitely book again.
